Lord Marrowgar was one of the first guardians of Icecrown Citadel, pieced together by the Lich King himself. For many years, the Bone Wraith has battled the Lich King's foes, but was ultimately defeated. Now, in the Nexus, Lord Marrowgar is reborn and has a chance to serve his master once again.

Role
Lord Marrowgar would fill the role of a Warrior like Sonya or Tyreal, not being a full Warrior and working best with another. He has decent amounts of CC and great amounts of damage. However, his mobility is rather limited, which makes it beneficial to have a strong initiator in the team.
Due to his two ultimates, Marrowgar has the opportunity to either add a lot of damage to the table or, if the team lacks it, bring an AoE root.
A ultimate combo between Marrowgar and ETC, for example, would have devastating effects.
Marrowgar is able to fulfill different roles due to his diversity in talents. He can go Autoattack heavy, specializing in dueling other Heroes. He can specialize in pushing and mercenary camp capping, or he could fulfill a more supportive role with his double Bone Shield and CC. Ultimately there is the Burst-heavy setup that specializes in the use of Decimate to deal heavy AoE damage. And, of course, a hybrid will surely be viable too.

Model
The in-game model would resemble the model from World of Warcraft, but with a more Heroes of the Storm-esque style. The simple coloring scheme of the model also makes it quite easy to give him a recolor skin that looks unique.

Seleckt - Valuable feedback about Desolate Graveyard. BoomTheBear - Highly appreciated feedback about Hero in general.
It looks like the last time this was updated was last year, but just in case, I have a gameplay solution to Decimate always pushing the target to the left: ironically, it's Ragnaros. When he uses his boulder ability, the player hits the ability's key, clicks the location they want it to land, then holds and drags the mouse in the direction that the boulder should move. In a similar way, the person playing Marrowgar could click the area they want to Decimate, then hold and drag either clockwise or counterclockwise to determine the spell's pushing direction.
The first talent Frigid Alteration seems a little too strong, by the 20th minute you'd have 40 hp / second with just the stacking passive, with the regeneration globes on top of that you could have upwards of 80 hp/s by the 20th minute. I feel like this could be slightly busted.
I like it. I really want it so bad. Would be awesome if he could yell "bonestorom!" during his ult, and enemies hit by "BONE SLICE" he would say "bound by bones".
I really like everything you posted here, and how you put yourself into it.
I really hope blizz looks into your post here and makes us a favor by making it by your example.
I agree, sacrificing his AA damage would be nonsensical, after all he has a massive axe! Plus, not all tanks need to tank in the same way! Anub proves that. Having good base AA means the synergy with his new trait talent would make for some effective healing.
It wasn't a problem with bone shield per say, rather it, in conjunction with his passive bulk made it potentially problematic.
The new Bonestorm looks good. My primary concern was the old one was wombo-combo gold. It would render Marrowgar able to keep targets within an aoe hotspot for up to 3 seconds, combine this with Jaina or Gazlowe and the enemy team would be forced to take Bolt to have a chance of surviving. The new form offers better survival chances, synergises better with 20 talent and additionally doesn't behave as an aoe interrupt for 3 seconds. You can still use it to stop enemy channels, which is good though.
Hey there! Thank you so much for your feedback, do not apologize for anything as it was very nicely worded and helpful. I will now try my best to respond to all your points.
First of all, his passive attributes. I agree with this completely. When I thought up the attributes for Marrowgar, I tried to base them loosely on Arthas' stats. However, I did not realize that he already had a pretty high base health. I have now reduced his base health and health per level by a fair bit. I would like to keep his attack high because that was sort of my idea behind him, a hard hitting frontline Hero.
About the Bone Shield, if I were to reduce the damage reduction per block by 40% instead of 50%, would that help in any way? And then have the talent up it to 50% instead of 60%. Nerfing it harder would pretty much nerf his only survivability.
I agree with your point about his passive, changing it to 50% as well does not seem bad at all. Seeing as Kerrigan's cleave is also 50%, albeit it is a huge AoE but on the other hand also a talent.
About Bonestorm, the original idea was indeed to have it pull in constantly, but I realize that that is perhaps too strong indeed. However, your idea sounds incredibly interesting and the synergy with the 20 talents would be incredible too.
You are also right about the lack of another trait-enhancing talent, I was kind of out of ideas at this point but I will try to add one!
Thank you again for your feedback, I will try to change things now. Please do let me know what you think!
