Hero Advantages and Role
Lor'themar uses heavy but slow basic attacks, while having high movement advantages and chasing/escaping skills. He is expert at following his wounded foes or initiating fierce teamfights.
Lor'themar is great at crowd controlling and does his best to slow and root his enemies for the upcoming allied armies. He has high livability and cutting damage, which makes him crucial target in the battles
Lor'themar is very strong when aided with Abathur, Tyrande, Gazlowe, Rhegar and Tychus
Lor'themar might find it difficult to stand against Uther, Muradin, Chen, Ilidan
Lot'themar will be strong against Lili, Murky, Vala, Raynor, Tychus, Rhegar
Combat Trait: Very weak, and I'd rather see the Q in this position instead. It'd also justify the lack of mana cost on the Q, since normally basic abilities have costs.
Q: See above. I'd add another Ranger-esque ability in this slot, maybe even Ranger's Feet here and make it a Sprint-like ability. Usually Q is a damage ability and escapes/utility in the E slot, so for button mapping sakes, perhaps do that.
W: This does piss poor damage and costs too much mana. Compared to Jaina's Frostbolt, which synergizes with her passive to deal more damage, this does less base damage with 3 more scaling, costs 15 more mana, and has a second longer cooldown. I'd suggest buffing this.
E: Sounds good.
R1: Bloodlust is bad because they can disengage. Same here. This doesn't seem like an Heroic, quite honestly. Duration is low, speed increase is low, attack speed isn't good for all heroes. Overall underwhelming.
R2: Why is a sword causing displacement and blunt trauma? This seems like a straight up mace ability. Fine balance wise, I'd make it increase damage of basics by some amount in addition to what it does.
Final Verdict: Very odd. Doesn't seem very rangerish, despite him being a very renown Ranger. Also, very underwhelming. His damage abilities are really low, his combat trait is depressing, his control is fine. His Heroics are laughable. Overall, I dislike the concept for him. I'd envision him as a stance changer between melee/ranged, like old hunter. The only thing I really enjoy about the kit is Swirling Attack, bar the name. Keep in mind I didn't take talents into account whatsoever, only the base concept (talents take a lot of time to sift through).
I agree that nature of Ranger is much more rougish, assassinish so to say - but Lor'themar, apart from the other rangers, is very fond of using heavy armor, heavy swords and even shields time to time. He is more of a ranger general and leader than 'your typical hunter-ranger'
Yeah that's truth. It's just about how I'm used to view Ranger. But Lor'themar is good and special type of Ranger. So after all warrior is kinda good to him :)
Umh, I will act like I didn't read it. Lor'Themar is Ranger.
To the topic. Nice, really nice. But I think that Assassin will fit him more since he is Ranger and Ranger isn't a hard skined warriorr with that plates on him. But interesting view and concept. GJ

And with that Illidan. I think that Lor'Themar will be adequate enemy to him. SInce u give him silence and some other CC's I think that our Ranger will have it in his hands. But who knows :)
dude, he is not a ranger, he is more like a batlemage

"Following the Second War, Lor'themar was promoted to the rank of ranger lord (Alar'annalas in Thalassian) by Sylvanas Windrunner in a grand ceremony, and draped with the Fora'nal cloth to symbolize his progression. He was congratulated by King Anasterian Sunstrider himself"
