Warden is the backbone to Maiev's kit and used to chase her target. It has a smallish radius in which it can be applied but stays on the target until they die or it is applied to someone new. The long cooldown doesn't allow fast switching of Warden targets which provides counterplay against her. | ||||
Fan of Knives damages in a 90 degree arc. Maiev does not stop to cast this ability and the knives are thrown in an order instead of all at once, meaning it's possible to hit someone multiple times while moving beside them. | ||||
Shadow Strike gives her a good amount of sustain through fights to make up for the lack of escape. This ability is made longer against Warden targets providing incentive to use it on them. | ||||
Blink Strike is a high risk teleport. It can only be used when the Wardens mark on the Enemy Hero is active, meaning visible, so it has the potential to be global. | ||||
Warden's Clutch is a combo ultimate and mainly meant to single out and eliminate her prey. Although weak on its own it has the potential to eliminate enemies quickly. Warden's Clutch Combo uses Warden to Mark, Warden's Clutch to disable, Blink Striking to finish. This combo can be used rapidly as each ability refreshes the next, with the chain starting again on the marked targets death. If a marked Hero manages to escape the chain is ended. | Vengance is used to empower Maiev, overwhelming her enemy off the deaths of allies and minions. Spirits spawn on the death of both teams minions and so combos well if she uses Fan of Knives on minions after Vengeance. |

Increase Wardens range by 20% and Warden's mark reveals the Hero for 3 seconds after losing vision. Passive: Maiev has 15% larger sight radius. |
Lacerate: |
Each time an enemy Hero is hit by Fan of Knives they take 10% increased damage from it within 4 seconds. Quest: Hit 25 Heroes with Fan of Knives. Reward: After hitting 25 Heroes, increase the number of knives thrown by 2. |
Peircing Knives: | Increase the range by 20% and the knives pierce through all targets. |
Pursuit of Justice: |
Each time a Warden marked Hero has a takedown increase your basic attack damage against them by 10%. This bonus is lost when applying Warden to a new Hero. |
Blade Maiden: | Increase Fan of Knives damage to non-Heroes by 50% and decrease the charge cooldown by 2 seconds. |
Justice be Served: | Increase the damage by 100% to targets below 25% Health. Killing an enemy under the effects of Shadow Strike reduces its cooldown by 4 seconds. |
Unendless Hunt: | Basic attacks against Warden marked Heroes reduces the cooldown of Blink Step by 3 seconds. |
Warden's Clutch: |
Activate to reveal the Warden marked Hero for 6 seconds, allowing them to only see a very short distance and become slowed by 50% while Maiev is near. Passive: Warden's Clutch cooldown is refreshed when applying a Warden's mark. |
Vengeance: |
Become an avatar of Vengeance for 20 seconds. During Vengence your basic abilities recharge 100% faster and cost 50% less mana. Passive: Nearby allied minion deaths reduce Vengeance cooldown by 0.5 seconds and allied Hero deaths reduce the cooldown by 10 seconds. |
Transgression: | When stunned or rooted gain 40 Armor for 4 seconds. |
Guity will Suffer: | Basic Attacks against a Hero effected by Shadow Strike increases the duration by 2 seconds and the healing gained by 5%. |
Iron Hand: |
Activate to reduce healing received by the target Hero by 30% for 3 seconds. Passive: Increase the Armor gained from Warden to 25% |
Swift Justice: | Increase the movement speed by 10% and it's active as long as Warden's Mark is. |
Ambush: | Using Blink Step reduces the Warden marked Heroes Armor by 15 for 3 seconds. |
Shadowmeld: | Using Blink Step grants 6 seconds of stealth and can pass through other units. |
Blink Strike: | The next basic attack after using Blink Step deals 10% of the targets Maximum Health. |
Jailor: |
After 2 seconds reactivate to root the enemy Hero for 3 seconds. |
Reckoning: | Allied minions deaths during Vengeance summon spirits that deal 20 (+4% per level) damage and increase Vengeance duration by 1 second. Allied Hero deaths refresh the duration of Vengeance. |
Retribution: | If the Warden marked Hero dies while Maiev is dead she instantly respawns. |
Double Blink: | Within 4 seconds, reactivate to return to the point it was cast from. |
