Mal'Ganis is one of the Nathrezim, a cruel race of demons who are often the lieutenants of the Burning Legion. Mal'Ganis was one of the dreadlords set upon Azeroth to act as the Lich King's jailors. Eventually he would concoct a plot that would lead a young Arthas Menethil down the path to becoming the new Lich King. Ever a cunning tactician, Mal'Ganis prefers to fight from the back and dismantle his enemies from afar and drain the life from his foes.

Vampiric Aura
Mal'Ganis gains an aura that grants nearby allied heroes 15% of auto attack damage and 5% of spell damage dealt as health. 

Primary Abilities

Drain Life
Mal'Ganis channels a draining beam on an enemy dealing 60 (+8 per level) damage per second for 4 seconds. Any damage dealt is gained as health split evenly between Mal'Ganis and nearby allies.

Carrion Swarm
Send out a wave of demonic bats, dealing 45 (+6 per level) damage and slowing targets by 35% for 3 seconds.

Sleep
Puts target enemy to sleep for 2 seconds. Any non-periodic damage taken will wake up the target.

Heroic Abilities

Soul Preservation
Drain the soul of target friendly hero, trapping them inside a soul shard. After 3.5 seconds or when activated again, the target hero re-emerges at Mal'Ganis' location.

Dark Conversion
Curses target enemy hero with undeath for 4 seconds, if the target dies under the effects of Dark Conversion they are reanimated under Mal'Ganis' control for 15 seconds.

Level 1 Talents

Conjurer's Pursuit: Collecting Regeneration Globes permanently increases Mana Regeneration by 0.1 per second.

Large Bats: Increase the range of Carrion Swarm by 25%

Dread Bats: Increase the slow of Carrion Swarm by 10%

Drain Mana: Drain Life has its mana cost reduced from 100 to 60.

Level 4 Talents

Gathering Power: Hero Takedowns increase Ability Power by 1%, up to a maximum of 15%. Half of this bonus Ability Power is lost on death.

Healing Ward: Activate to place a ward on the ground that heals allies in an area for 1.95% of their maximum health every second for 10 seconds.

Fire Bats: Increases Carrion Swarm's damage to non-heroic targets by 200%.

Unholy Reach: Increase the range of Drain Life by 20%.

Level 7 Talents

Thirst for Blood(Trait Upgrade): Activate to increase the bonus to 50% auto attack damage and 15% of ability damage as health for 5 seconds. (30 second cooldown)

Demonic Embrace: Reduce the duration of all silences, stuns, slows, and roots against you while channeling Drain Life.

Narcolepsy: Reduce the cooldown of Sleep by 3 seconds.

Wither: Enemies that attack you have their attack speed slowed by 40%.

Level 13 Talents

Harvest Life: Drain Life now affects up to 3 enemies in a cone. (prefers heroes)

Drain Soul: If the target of your Drain Life dies, gain 500% mana regeneration for 5 seconds. 

Somnolence: Targets affected by sleep become vulnerable, increasing all damage taken by 25% for 4 seconds. 

Level 16 Talents

Necromantic Healing: Increase the healing of Drain Life by a percentage directly proportional to your missing health. 

Hardened Focus: While above 80% life, your basic ability cooldowns regenerate 50% faster.

Force Drain: Enemies affected by Drain Life are stunned for 0.5 seconds.

Vampire Bats: Carrion Swarm now returns to you and grants 50% of damage dealt as health.

Level 20 Talents

Healthstone: Target hero heals for 2400 health over 5 seconds after re-emerging from Soul Preservation.

Curse of Exhaustion: Enemies affected by Dark Conversion have their movement speed reduced by 50% for 4 seconds.

Arcane Power: Activate to instantly restore 400 mana and increase ability power by 15% for 5 seconds.

Rewind: Activate to reset the cooldowns of your basic abilities.

Doesn't really seems like support. To be honest he doesn't actually fit any other role.

Vampiric aura seems like obvious choice for dreadlords, however there is reason why you can't see many auras in this game.
That's because auras are.. well.. boring. They are passive and yet very powerful. Also very hard to balance because they apply to pretty much every hero.

Soul preservation seems like cool ability. I am worried about it effectivness.

Dark conversion seems like snowball ability. It is gonna be useless if your team gets steamrolled by enemy team and yet it's gonna make team unstoppable if your team is already superior.
