(Map Concept) Alterac Vally

Field of Honor

A simplified and adapted version of the classic Battleground, Alterac Valley plays somewhat like Tomb of the Spider Queen.

This map is thematically set up like the it's WoW counterpart, the Blue Team is the Stormpike Guard and the Red Team is the Frostwolf Clan.
Minions:
Melee: Footmen/Grunts
Ranged: Riflemen/Troll Headhunters
Wizard: Sorcerous/Shaman
Catapult: Mortar Team/Demolisher

The objective is to summon your teams boss (Ivus for the Alliance, Lokholar for Horde) at your teams summoning point. To accomplish this you must gather Alterac Valleys most common resource, Honor Points. After completing certain actions, you are rewarded with honor points which are used at the summoning point to summon your boss.

(Boss details under Heroic Abilities section)

Honor Point Actions (Gained like XP unless specified otherwise):
Minion kill: 1
Enemy Mercenary killed: 3
Mercenary Camp Captured: 10 (Split evenly amongst all allies on point)
Tower Destroyed: 10 (If destroyed by minions, split evenly amongst all living allied heroes)
Fountain Destroyed: 5 (If destroyed by minions, split evenly amongst all living allied heroes)
Keep Destroyed: 30  (If destroyed by minions, split evenly amongst all living allied heroes)
Hero Kill: 10 + half the Honor Points the had on themselves when they died (If destroyed by minions, split evenly amongst all living allied heroes)
Boss Kill: 20 (If destroyed by minions, split evenly amongst all living allied heroes)

Map Layout (Very Rough):
Key:

Green Square: Core

Grey Square: Fort

Blue Circle: Alliance Objective

Red Circle: Horde Objective

Yellow Triangle: Siege Mercenaries

Orange Triangle: Bruiser Mercenaries

Additionally, Alterac Vally features a unique set of Cores:

Combat Trait

1
Commanders - Vanndar Stormpike/ Drek'thar
Instead of a Core, each team has a General that can use a set of powerful Spells, giving them a higher anti-hero capability, but their Attacks are melee and don't have splash damage. They are considered Heroes, but cannot be buffed or debuffed. Generals have the same amount of health as a regular Core.

1
Bosses - Ivus the Forest Lord/ Lokholar the Ice Lord

Once Summoned, your boss will push the strongest enemy lane until death, but if an enemy boss is in a lane, they will spawn there and fight their counterpart, not moving until they either win or die.
