Maraad

Draenei Vindicator

A wandering warrior of faith, Vindicator Maraad is a pillar of draenei society. After prevailing against evil in the Northrend campaign, this hammer-wielding paladin began instructing the other races of the Alliance in the ways of the Light. Exposure to Azeroth’s myriad dangers has left Maraad prone to action above meditation—he will strike while others tarry.

Combat Trait

Gift of the Naaru
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Trait

Upon receiving fatal damage, instead prevent that damage and place a shield upon Maraad, making him Invulnerable for 2 seconds. After the shield expires, places a heal over time for 25% of Maraad's total health over 5 seconds. This affect cannot occur more than once every 180 seconds.

Cooldown: 8 seconds 

Mana cost: 35 

Strikes a target, causing 51 (+6 per level) damage and bounces to up to 3 additional targets, causing 50% less damage. In addition, dazes the targets, reducing their attack speed by 25%.

Consecration
Cooldown: 12 seconds 

Mana cost: 55 
Area of Effect

Consecrates the ground around Maraad, dealing 59 (+9 per level) damage each second and slowing enemies' movement speed within the area of effect by 25%. Lasts 5 seconds.

Ardent Defender
Cooldown: 10 seconds 

Mana cost: 75 

Target's an ally, redirecting 50% of the damage that ally receives to Maraad for the next 3 seconds.

Cooldown: 6 seconds

Skillshot

Throw a hammer at a target location, dealing 36 (+6 per level) damage in a small area and stunning enemies for .5 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Avenging Wrath
Cooldown: 90 seconds 

Mana cost: 80 
Heroic Ability

Increases damage dealt and healing received by 25%. In addition, replaces Hammer of the Righteous with Hammer of Wrath. Last's 30 seconds.

Guardian of Ancient Kings
Cooldown: 100 seconds 

Mana cost: 100
Heroic Ability

Summon a Guardian of Ancient Kings at Maraad's location, lasting for for 20 seconds. The Guardian's basic attacks deals 63 (+8 per level) damage. After the Guardian expires, Maraad is healed for 225 (+75 per level) health.

Talents

Tier 1

Block: Periodically reduces the damage received from Hero Basic Attacks by 50% . Stores up to 2 charges.

Regeneration Master: Increases Health Regeneration by 4 per second. Every 3 Regeneration Globes gathered increases this bonus by 4.

Sacred Duty: Reduces the mana cost of Ardent Defender by 20.

Templar's Verdict: Increases the amount of targets of Hammer of the Righteous's bounce by 3.


Tier 2

Amplified Healing: Increases regeneration effects and all healing received by 30%.

Holy Wrath: Reduces the cooldown of Consecration by 1 second per enemy hit, to a maximum of 6.

Seal of Righteousness: Basic attacks splash to nearby enemies for 10% of the damage dealt.

Seal of Insight: Basic attacks heal nearby allies for 25% of the damage dealt.


Tier 3

Battle Momentum: Basic Attacks reduce Ability cooldowns by 0.5 seconds.

Blessing of the Naaru: Increases the duration of Gift of the Naaru's shield to 3 seconds, and increases the heal over time affect to 35% of Maraad's total health.

Righteous Fury: Increases the radius of Consecration by 100%.

Reckoning: Reduces the cooldown of Hammer of the Righteous by 2 seconds.


Tier 4

Avenging Wrath

Tier 5

Spell Shield: Upon taking Ability Damage, reduce that damage and further Ability Damage by 50% for 2 seconds. Can only trigger once every 30 seconds.

Sanctuary: Ardent Defender no longer redirects damage to Maraad, it is simply prevented.

Holy Radiance: Consecration now heals allies within it's area of effect for 50% of the damage dealt.

Final Verdict: Increases the damage of Hammer of the Righteous's initial target by 50%.


Tier 6

Stoneskin: Activate to gain 30% of your maximum Health as a Shield for 5 seconds.

Imposing Presence: Enemies that attack you have their Attack Speed slowed by 50%.

Retribution Aura: Enemies now passively take back 10% of the damage they deal to you and nearby allies.

Blinding Light: Consecration now also reduces the attack speed of enemies caught within it's area of effect by 25%.


Tier 7

Storm Shield: Activate to give all nearby allied Heroes a Shield for 20% of their max Health for 3 seconds.

Divine Purpose: Guardian of Ancient Kings now summons 2 Guardians. The cost is increased to 150 mana.

Sanctified Wrath: Increases the duration of Avenging Wrath by 50%. In addition, Hammer of Wrath is now free to cast.

Blessing of Kings: Places a Blessing upon Maraad or a target allied Hero, increasing their HP, MP, and damage by 25% for 15 seconds. Costs 25 mana, 45 second cooldown.

HP: 1010 (+240 per level)
Regen: 2.075 (+.425 per level)

MP: 500 (+10 per level)
Regen: 3 (+0.098 per level)

Damage: 46 (+8 per level)

Not a major point, but your combat trait says it has 30 seconds cooldown but it the description it says 180 seconds. :)

WIP

Made a few changes, for anyone who happens to notice. Replaced Crusader Strike with Hammer of the Righteous, and reworked Gift of the Naaru to instead prevent fatal damage, become invulnerable for a short time, and then gain a heal over time. I hope this doesn't appear too over the top at this point. I wanted Maraad to be a tanky paladin; protecting allies, slowing enemies, and occasionally providing passive healing affects.
