The head of Stormwind's shadowy cloak-and-dagger organization, Mathias Shaw is a master of subterfuge, and is as cunning as he is deadly. Prowling in the shadows, Shaw gets in close to employ an array of virulent poisons to neutralize his foes, as well as deft strikes to cause his opponents to dangerously hemorrhage. Like the countless Rogues he has trained, Shaw uses focused attacks to then Combo with a devastating finishing move.

Shaw utilizes Energy instead of Mana. It constantly regenerates, but is capped at 100. His Q and W Abilities will build (up to 5) Combo Points, which are needed for his E Ability (and one of his Heroic Abilities). Combo Points will slowly decay if out of combat for more than 5 seconds. 
Shaw lacks an escape, and will depend on talents for survivability; as such, his health pool will be high relative to other Assassins.

Combat Trait

Potent Poisons
Every 3rd Basic Attack applies Deadly Poison to Shaw's target, which deals Low damage every second for 5 seconds. Deadly Poison can stack up to 5 times.

Permanent Cloak
Gain Stealth when out of combat for 3seconds.

Taking damage, attacking, using Abilities, or channeling reveals you.

Primary Abilities

1
Hemorrhage
Shaw uses precision strikes to drive his daggers deep, causing his foes to bleed heavily. Hemorrhage deals Low damage initially, but deals Moderate damage every second for 3 seconds.

Cost: 30 Energy. Cooldown: 6 seconds.

Shiv
Shaw plunges his dagger into his target, dealing Low damage and applying Crippling Poison. Crippling Poison slows the target by 25% for 3 seconds.

Cost: 45 Energy. Cooldown: 8 Seconds

Rupture
Shaw unleashes a devastating finishing move, attempting to exsanguinate the targeted Hero. Rupture causes the Hero to bleed heavily, dealing Moderate damage every second over 5 seconds. 

Rupture requires at least 1 Combo Point. Each additional Combo Point increases the damage of Rupture by 10%, for a total of 40% additional damage with 5 Combo Points.

Cost: 60 Energy. Cooldown: 10 seconds

Heroic Abilities

Crimson Tempest
Shaw unleashes a flurry of attacks, rending the flesh of all enemies surrounding him. The assault deals Moderate damage, and causes enemies to bleed for Moderate damage every seconds for 5 seconds.

Cost: 50 Energy. Cooldown: 60 seconds

Slice and Dice
Shaw works into a frenzy, his Basic Attack Speed increasing by 40% for 3 seconds

Slice and Dice requires at least 1 Combo Point. Each additional Combo Point increases the duration of Slice and Dice by 1 second, for a total of 7 seconds with 5 Combo Points.

Cost: 50 Energy. Cooldown: 15 Seconds

Talents

Level 1:
Regeneration Master (Passive): Collecting Regen Globes permanently increases Health regen by 1.5% per second.
Block (Passive): Periodically reduces the damage received from Hero Basic Attacks by 50%. Stores up to 2 charges.
Master Poisoner (Passive): Damage done by Deadly Poison is increased by 10%, and can stack up to 6 times.
Shadow Focus (Passive): Abilities made while Stealthed cost 50% less Energy, and deal 20% more damage.

Level 4
Battle Momentum (Passive): Basic Attacks reduce Ability cooldowns by 0.5 seconds.
Gathering Power (Passive): Hero takedowns increase Ability power by 1%, up to a maximum of 15%. Half of this bonus is lost on death.
Vigor (Passive): Increases maximum Energy by 20.
Focused Attack (Passive): Every 10 seconds, your next Basic Attack against a Hero deals 75% additional damage. Basic Attacks reduce this cooldown by 1 second.

Level 7:
Leeching Poison (Passive): When Deadly Poison is applied to an enemy Hero, 1% of their Health is transferred to you.
Blade Fury (Active): Activate for Basic Attacks to deal 50% damage to all enemies surrounding you target for 10 seconds. 
First Aid (Active): Activate to heal 11.07% of your max Health over 6 seconds
Follow Through (Passive): After using an Ability, your next Basic Attack within 6 seconds deals 40% more damage.

Level 13:
Giant Killer (Passive): Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes deal bonus damage equal to 1.5% of the Hero's maximum Health
Paralytic Poison (Passive): Shiv will stun enemy Heroes for 1 second
Venomous Wounds (Active): Activate to cause your Abilities to also apply Deadly Poison for 10 seconds.
Burning Rage (Passive): Deal damage per second to nearby enemies.

Level 16:
Stoneskin (Active): Activate to gain 30% of your maximum Health as a Shield for 5 seconds.
Bloodletting (Passive): After using Hemorrhage, you can use it again for free within 3 seconds for 50% damage
Nightstalker (Passive): Your movement speed while Stealthed is increased by 20%
Combat Readiness (Passive): Damage taken while Stealthed, and for 2 seconds after Steath is removed, is reduced by 25%.

Level 20:
Sanguinary Vein (Passive): Heroes hit by Crimson Tempest become Vulnerable, taking 25% increased damage for 3 seconds.
Adrenaline Rush (Passive): When Slice and Dice is active, your Energy regeneration increases by 100%.
Bolt of the Storm (Active): Activate to teleport to a nearby location.
Rewind (Active): Activate to reset the cooldowns of your Basic Abilities.
