Head of Stormwind Intelligence

Master Mathias Shaw, head of Stormwind Intelligence, is a Stealth-based Melee Assassin, working off of a similar stealth mechanic to Valeera. Capable of slipping by players not paying close enough attention, Shaw's gameplan is similar to other Stealth heroes; Pick off weak, lone targets to give advantage to your team, though he utilizes more unique tools to accomplish this.

Active; Valeera Sidegrade
Mathias Shaw vanishes from sight, entering Stealth and gaining 20% increased movement speed. When entering Stealth, Shaw becomes unrevealable for the first 0.5 seconds. While in Stealth, Shaw's basic abilities gain amplified effects, increasing over the first 5 seconds he is stealthed.

Cooldown - 8 seconds, starting upon exiting Stealth.

Primary Abilities

Toggle; Bringing Back Real Stealth
While toggled to active, inside of Stealth, and while within range 0.4 of a wall, Shaw moves 60% slower(40% below base), but the Stealth outline’s visibility is reduced by 25% for every 0.5 seconds he is nearby the wall, up to 50%. This fades at the same rate while Shaw is not nearby a wall.

Toggle Cooldown - 1 second.

[Q] - Deadly Throw
Active; Neck Shot!
Shaw quickly throws a dagger in target direction, dealing 90 damage to the first enemy hero hit. While in Stealth, Deadly Throw silences the target for 0.2 seconds for every second spent in Stealth, up to 1 second after 5 seconds in Stealth.

Casts Mutilate instead while within melee range. Mutilate and Deadly Throw share charges & cooldowns.

Projectile Speed - 150%
Charges - 2
Cooldown - 3 seconds, plus 2 seconds on using the second charge. Charges refresh together.

[Q] - Mutilate
Active; This is a pretty intense basic assassination spec move
Shaw strikes a nearby enemy hero with both daggers, dealing 160 damage to them. While in Stealth, Mutilate reduces the target's healing received by 20% for every second spent in stealth, up to 100% after 5 seconds in Stealth.

Casts Deadly Throw instead while outside of melee range. Deadly Throw and Mutilate share charges & cooldowns.

Cast Range - Melee.
Charges - 2
Cooldown - 3 seconds, plus 2 seconds on using the second charge. Charges refresh together.
Cost - 25 Mana.

[W] - Rupture
Active; Stab the Spleen!
Shaw quickly stabs then twists a blade into target enemy hero, dealing 140 damage to them and causing them to bleed for 200 damage over 5 seconds(20 damage per 0.5 seconds). While in Stealth, Rupture deals an additional 10% damage over time for every second spent in Stealth, up to 50% increased damage over time after 5 seconds in Stealth.

Cast Range - Melee.
Cooldown - 8 seconds.
Cost - 45 Mana.

Active; Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru
Shaw moves through the shadows, appearing behind target hero in range, and gaining a burst of 40% increased movement speed, decaying over 1 second. While in Stealth, Shadowstep gains 10% increased cast range for every second spent in Stealth, up to 50% increased cast range after 5 seconds in Stealth. Casting Shadowstep does not break Stealth, but resets the timer for seconds spent in Stealth.

Charges - 2
Cooldown - 9 seconds, plus 9 seconds on using the second charge. Charges refresh together.
Cost - 50 Mana.

Level 1 Talent; Active; A consistent annoyance
Active: Activate to cause Shaw’s next damaging ability and subsequent damaging abilities within 4 seconds to apply ‘Mind Numbed’ for 3 seconds, or extend it by 1 second if already present. Mind Numbed causes afflicted enemies to take 20 damage every time they cast an ability.

Casting Mind-Numbing Poison does not break Stealth.

Cooldown - 15 seconds. Starts after casting a damaging ability.

Level 1 Talent; Active; Unique Bribe Mechanics!
Passive: Every second Shaw spends within range 5.5 of an enemy hero while in Stealth, he gains 1 stack of Bribe. Hero Takedowns give 10 stacks of Bribe. Maximum 80 stacks of Bribe.

Active: Activate to consume 20 stacks of Bribe to instantly defeat an uncaptured non-Boss Mercenary.

Heroic Abilities

Active; Hold on a second, let me stick to you for a bit
Shaw amplifies his blade with shadow magic, striking a nearby enemy hero and causing them to take 400 damage over 5 seconds(80 damage per second.). While they are taking damage from Nightblade, every time Shaw damages them with an ability, they are slowed by 40%, decaying over 1.5 seconds.

Cast Range - Melee.
Cooldown - 80 seconds.
Cost - 80 Mana.

Passive; I seeee yoooou
Shaw's intel grants him vision up to 2.5 range from all enemy Forts, Keeps, and their Core.

Active; Surprise Fort Dive
Shaw's agents cause confusion in enemy structures, preventing them from attacking Shaw for 5 seconds.

Cooldown - 65 seconds.
Cost - None.

Talents

Level 1|Tier 1
(!)Dagger Duality - Quest: Chain Deadly Throw and Mutilate.
Quest: Damage enemies with Deadly Throw and Mutilate within 1.5 seconds of each other.
Reward: After damaging enemies with Deadly Throw and Mutilate within 1.5 seconds of each other 10 times, enemies take 80 bonus damage each time you chain them together.
Reward: After damaging enemies with Deadly Throw and Mutilate within 1.5 seconds of each other 20 times, reduce the cooldown increase from using the second charge of Deadly Throw/Mutilate to 1 second.
Reward: After damaging enemies with Deadly Throw and Mutilate within 1.5 seconds of each other 30 times, increase the number of charges for Deadly Throw/Mutilate to 3. This extra charge shares the cooldown increase of the second charge.

Mind-Numbing Poison - Active: Coat your weapon in thought-numbing poison.
