The thought behind this hero concept is a Necromancer in the specialist role. The corpse explosion trait allows for the Necromancer to push through lanes by allowing the sacrifice of its minions. Additionally, with skeleton summons, the ability to clear and destroy lanes with corpse explosion could be significant.
Corpse explosion also provides a small level of defense for the Necromancer against enemies with low HP. As the Necromancer explodes upon death, dealing 100 damage, any melee opponent with low HP would be advised not to chase him.
With Iron Maiden, the purpose of this ability is variable. It can provide additional lane pushing by cursing minions and causing them to self-destruct. It can temporarily take out a high DPS opponent in a fight for 3 seconds, forcing them to make a choice of not attacking or causing themselves harm. It also allows for some escape ability when 1 on 1, as cursing an opponent with Iron Maiden will make them hesitate in pursuing and attacking the Necromancer.
Bone spear is a fairly straight forward damage dealer, but with the ability to penetrate.
For the heroics, there is a range and a melee option, both with their pros and cons. The melee blood golem has a side healing effect on the Necromancer while the skeletal mages, which attack at range, can assist in dealing additional damage from multiple sources and interrupting some enemy abilities.
