Mercy

Guardian of Life

Hero Description
Angelica Ziegler, known as Mercy in Overwatch (and the most played hero in the game), is a fragile single-target healer who brings anti-snowballing mechanics to a composition. Mercy can heal single targets continuously without any resource required, while also bringing the option to damage boost allies rather than heal them. To compensate, Mercy is unable to provide any damage for her team unless she puts away her Caduceus Staff and removes her ability to heal temporarily. Mercy's Resurrect ability is a charged ability that requires the player to heal, damage boost, and generate damage in order to charge the required meter to 100%. Unlike other abilities in Heroes of the Storm, Mercy's Resurrect ability charges at slightly different rates depending on the experience levels of the teams (it charges slightly slower if Mercy's team is higher in levels, and slightly faster if Mercy's team is lower in levels). Typically, charging Resurrect is comparable to charging D.Va's Self-Destruct, but better play and talent choices can alter the charge rate.

Mercy has two Heroic abilities. Her first, Valkyrie Suit, allows her to heal from a more safe distance and gives her the only AoE heal available to her. Her second ability, Heroes Never Die, is a risky channeled ability that resurrects dead allies within a small area and then teleports them and Mercy back to the Hall of Storms. Using Heroes Never Die well can be greatly helpful, while a poor use is devastating.

Primary Abilities

1
Caduceus Beam
Place a beam on an allied hero which can be changed to either Heal or Damage. Your beam has a range of 5, but will remain attached when out of range for 2 seconds. Healing Beam heals a single target for 36 HP every 0.25 seconds (+4% per level). Damage Beam increases the damage of the target by 15%. (Requires the Caduceus Staff equipped)
2
Resurrect
Channel for 2 seconds to resurrect a fallen ally to 30% health. This ability does not use a Cooldown, but is instead charged over time using abilities and damaging enemies.
3
Guardian Angel
Fly to an ally within 7 meters. Reactivate this ability during flight to land early. Cooldown: 4 Seconds.

Secondary Abilities

1
Toggle Beam
Toggles Mercy's Beam between Healing and Damage.

Heroic Abilities

1
Valkyrie Suit
Increase the range of Mercy's Beam and Guardian angel by 40%. Additionally, Mercy's beams branch a short distance from their target to do 50% of the main target's healing or damage boost to nearby allies. Lasts 7 seconds. Cooldown: 70 Seconds.
2
Heroes Never Die
After channeling for 1.5 seconds, resurrect all fallen allies within a 3 meter area around Mercy. Mercy and her resurrected allies are immediately spawned at the Hall of Storms. Cooldown: 110 Seconds.

Level 1 Talents

Speedy Recovery
Quest - Heal an allied hero taking damage without Mercy taking any damage. Every 5 seconds of continuous healing without Mercy taking damage counts as a stack. Reward - Each stack increases the first two seconds of healing of Mercy's Healing Beam by 1% (Cooldown: 4 seconds). After 25 stacks, extend the range of Healing Beam by 1 and grant 10% more healing.

My Servants Never Die
Quest - Heal an allied minion, mercenary, or summoned unit while it is under 50% health. Maximum of one healed unit per second. Reward - Every minion, mercenary, or summoned unit healed while under 50% health causes Mercy's Healing Beam to heal for 1 extra point every 2.5 seconds to any allies under 50% health (maximum 400).

Getting Boosted
Increase the Damage Boost an ally receives from 15% to 30% for 1.25 seconds after they receive the Damage Beam. Cooldown: 6 Seconds.

Harmonious Beams
Using either Healing Beam or Damage Beam continuously for 4 seconds empowers the next toggled Beam by 10%.

Level 4 Talents

EV Slingshot
Reactivate Guardian Angel as Mercy begins to land at her target to gain an additional small boost of gliding.

Greater Descent
Increase the range of Guardian Angel by 20%.

Say Ahh!
While attacking with Mercy's Caduceus Blaster Pistol, the self-healing from Swift Suit Response is doubled.

Emergency Maneuvers
Self-casting Guardian Angel removes Roots, Slows, and reduces the cooldown of your next Guardian Angel by 2 seconds.

Life and Death
Reduce Mercy's health, death timer, and Resurrect charge requirement by 25%. Dying reduces the Resurrect charge by 50%.

Level 10 Talents

Valkyrie Suit

Heroes Never Die
After channeling for one second, resurrect all fallen allies within a 3 meter area around Mercy. Mercy and her resurrected allies are immediately spawned at the Hall of Storms. Cooldown: 140 Seconds.

Level 13 Talents

Ziegler's Beacon
Active: When your Pistol is equipped, replace the Beam ability with Ziegler's Beacon. Fires a beacon 6.5 meters away in the selected direction, doing no damage, but acting as a potential target for Mercy's Guardian Angel. The beacon stays in place for 8 seconds and reveals the area around it. Cooldown: 30 seconds.

Secure Rescue
Immediately after resurrecting an ally, Mercy becomes invincible for 1.5 seconds and the cooldown of Guardian Angel is reset.

Battle Mercy
Extend the range of your Caduceus Blaster Pistol by 1, and emptying a full clip of your pistol into a single enemy does bonus damage. However, your Healing Beam now does 15% less healing.

Level 16 Talents

Valkyrie Suit now grants Mercy a 20% increased movement speed, 10 armor, and the ability to pass over any wall while moving. The cooldown for Valkyrie Suit is reduced by 10 seconds.

Huge Rez
The range for Heroes Never Die is extended by 2. All Heroes, living or dead within range are returned to the Hall of Storms when Mercy activates Heroes Never Die with a 80% movement speed increase for 10 seconds or until entering combat.

Modernen Medizin
When Mercy removes the Healing Beam from an ally, the effects of the Healing Beam persist for an additional 2 seconds.

Take Two and Call Me in the Morning
Mercy can now perform a cleaving Melee attack while using her Caduceus Staff. She can Melee attack once per second for 235 damage. As an added bonus, the Melee Attack instantly kills all minions.
