Milhouse Manastorm

The Arcane Mage

The idea behind this hero concept is that in WoW there are 3 kinds of mages. The forst mages like Jaina, pyro mages like for example Kael'thas and arcane mages which are not represented by any hero in HOTS. So I justed wanted to make up a concept for an arcane mage and since the first two guys that come to my mind are either Medivh or Milhouse i decided to take Milhouse.

Combat Trait

Manastorm
Milhouse gains 1% ability power for each time he hits an enemy hero with an ability (stacking up to 15%).
The aditional ability power fades when you dont hit an enemy hero with an ability within 5 seconds.

Primary Abilities

Arcane Missiles
Manacost: 20
Cooldown:5 sec
has 4 charges(cooldwon between charges 1 second)

Fire a magical projectile dealing 60 damage to a target.

Arcane Explosion
Manacost: 60
Cooldown: 9 sec
(area of effect skillshot)

After a short(0.75 seconds) delay, deal 190 damage in an area.

Polymorph
Manacost: 50
Cooldown:12 sec
(point to click)

Transform an enemy hero into a sheep for 1.5 seconds and slow him for 15%(increased by Manastorm[TRAIT] to a maximum of 30%) for the duration.
Sheeps can not use abilitys or basic attacks.

Heroic Abilities

Teleport
Manacost: 100
Cooldown: 60 sec
(point to click)

Target a friendly hero, after a short delay it gets teleported to a targeted point on the map.
(global range - much like Falstads fly)

Mirror Image
Manacost: 100
Cooldown: 90 sec

Summon a copy of an hero that uses abilitys and basic attacks. 
The copy decays after 10 seconds or if its HP reach 0
(can be controlled like Jainas Waterelemental - abilitys are used by AI)

Note: You can copy enemy heroes to.
         The health of the copy will be the maximum health of the copied hero.
         The Copy does not use heroic abilitys.

Talents:

Tier 1:
Conjuerer's Pursuit:
Collecting Regenglobes permanently increases Mana Regeneration by 0.1015 per second.

Arcane Mindset:
Arcane Expolsions Cooldown is reduced by 1 second for each enemy hero hit.

Even the Small matter:
Your basic attack-speed is also increased by Manastorm[Trait]

Scouting Drone:
Places a Scouting Drone at a targetet location, revealing a large area arround it for 45 seconds. This drone cannot be hidden and is killed by enemies with 2 basic attacks. Store up to 2 charges.



Tier 2:
Overflowing Mana:
Activate torestore 20% mana over 3 seconds. Cooldown 60 seconds.

Arcane Barrage:
Arcane Missiles gains 1 additional charge.

Exploding Sheep:
Basic attacks targeting a polymorphed hero deal 50% of the damage to enemies next to it.

Envenom:
Activate to poison an enemy hero, dealing 366 damage over 10 seconds.



Tier 3:
Soothing Polymorph:
Heal for 5% of the damge dealt to a polymorphed target.

Manaflood:
Increases the maximum stacks of Manastorm to 20%.

Follow Through:
After using an ability, your next basic attack within 6 seconds deals 40% additianal damage.

HEROIC ABILITYS

Tier 5:
Gnomish Invention:
Increases Arcane Missile Range and damage by 20%.

Giant Killer:
Basic attacks against enemy heroes deal bonus damage equal to 1.5% of the heroe's maximum health.

Stay Down!
If Polymorph expires the target is stunned for 0.75 seconds.

Arcane Blast:
Arcane Explosion restores a charge of Arcane Missiles for each enemy hero hit.



Tier 6:
Executioner:
Basic attacks deal 40% more damage against slowed, rooted, or stunned targets.

Chain Missiles:
Arcane Missiles can hit 1 additional hero for 75% of the damage.

Arcane Barrier:
Gain a shield equal to 200% of your maximum Mana for 6 seconds.

Arcane Nuke:
Arcane Explosion makes enemy heroes hit vournable for 2 seconds.



Tier 7:
Ambush:
Teleport can now teleport a additional target and you gain stealth for 3 seconds after teleporting.

Improved Mirror Image:
The copy now gains a shield for 15% of its maximum health and the duration is increased by 5 seconds.

Nexus Frenzy:
Increases attack speed by 20% and attack range by 20%.

Double Polymorph:
Polymorph now transforms the nearest enemy hero (in a short range) as an addition to the normal target.

My only real problem with Millhouse is that he's a very generic Mage with this design. Also, you're legally obliged to make one of his heroics "Impending DOOOOOOM.

How about instead of polymorph, we go with mana burn

Polymorph has been done before, Brightwing does it. Perhaps something else in the arcane arsenal might work, the spell 'slow' in general could be fitting.

The Teleport ultimate also leaves too much room for griefing allies, nice concept but the potential to piss off the majority of your team, sending them to their deaths or worse out of a team fight every 60 seconds, is hopefully something Blizz will never consider.
