Combat Trait

Time to Improvise!
Drop three chests, each containing a different weapon. The red chest holds an axe, blue chest holds a longsword, and green chest holds a sabre. Opening a chest grants Smite use of that weapon, which alters his (Q) ability. The chests persist and remain in their spawned location (much like Murky's Egg) until they are dropped elsewhere.

(Q) Equipped Weapon Ability
Differs based on whether Smite is holding an axe, longsword, or sabre. See the secondary abilities section for more information. All abilities for (Q) share the same cooldown thus, if you use Migraine Maker with Smite's axe and quickly switch to the longsword, Shish Kebab will be on cooldown.

(W) Smite Stomp
Smite stomps on the ground. All enemies within a 360 degree radius are slowed for 1.5 seconds. Inflicts 172 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies within radius.

(E) Green Wing Macaw
Sends a Green Wing Macaw to target area within Smite's line of sight. Green Wing Macaw reveals the area while it is active and patrols the target location in a wide circular rotation. Any enemies who enter range are attacked by the Green Wing Macaw, which dives and pecks them 1.5 times per second. Each peck inflicts 42 (+4% per level) damage and bleeding, which causes an additional 10 (+4% per level) damage to be drained over 2 seconds. Green Wing Macaw despawns after 8 seconds, at which point its cooldown initiates.

Migraine Maker (Axe)
Smite swings his axe at target, stunning them for 1.5 seconds. Inflicts 126 (+4% per level) damage.

Shish Kebab (Longsword)
Smite grabs target and skewers them, raising them up for a moment before throwing them behind himself. Inflicts 132 (+4% per level) damage.

Slice & Dice (Sabre)
Smite quickly slices three times in front of himself in a half-circle radius. All enemies within the radius are damaged for 80 (+4% per level) damage per slice for a maximum of 240 (+4% per level).

Heroic Abilities

Defias Bodyguards
Summons two stealthed pirate bodyguards to protect target ally (or Smite himself). Pirates spawn stealthed and, if the protected target remains stationary for 3.5 seconds, they gain stealth for 10 seconds or until they perform an action. Bodyguards last indefinitely or until they are killed. Bodyguards shadowstep behind nearby enemy heroes and backstab them for 56 (+4% per level) damage and causing them to bleed, draining an additional 32 (+4% per level) health over 3 seconds. Each Defias Bodyguard's health is equal to 40% of Smite's maximum health.

Recruit Scallywags
Circular targeting radius. All minions (from either team) caught within the radius are recruited into the Defias Brotherhood, doning pirate costumes and gaining +20% attack/movement speed, +25% damage and +250% health. For each consecutive hit landed by a pirate, all nearby pirates gain +1.5% bonus damage for 5 seconds. If Smite remains nearby, each pirate that dies heals him for 3.5% of his maximum health and grants a stack of enrage, increasing Smite's damage by 2% for 10 seconds.
