Well, I can like that concept, I'll make a little criticism on a few numbers within this and my few next posts, only take if you're willing to change numbers.
First off, The Call Gronn level 20 upgrade would be bad. Plainly, bad. The damage at level 20 (116) isn't even enough to Threaten a MURKY. I know the cooldown is short, but remember ; this is a single targetted ability, Phoenix does much, MUCH, MUCH more damage at lower levels than 20. Sure, without the root, but Phoenix can also change target and zone out enemies, so it IS better, by all means. Stitches' hook does the same job as the ultimate as well, on a lower cooldown. So making the Gronnling deal damage, right off the bat, and increasing that damage even further, maybe changing the root to a stun with the Gronn upgrade, would be nice, I believe.
Hardened Shield is usually 75% in the game. I mean, it even REPLACES your trait! Why COULDN'T you set it to 75% damage reduction? I understand WITH the trait, but really... it replaces it, and it's just four seconds, the cooldown in game is excruciatingly long, for a secondary ability.
The damage on Ground Pound is too low to justify such an extremely long cooldown, and neither the stun or the knockback justify it, either. Raynor has a knockback with better damage on a shorter cooldown, and it even has guaranteed damage, even at the max range. Muradin has a stun with better damage on a lower cooldown. The damage and cooldown should be played with to make it viable, imo.
This concept is great, I'm just adding in my grain of salt -- As a matter of fact, I do believe that balancing out concepts to actually be viable can make you a better player, or, at the very least, make you understand the game you are making a concept about, if nothing else. As I said, this criticism is merely if you want it.
Very basic concept, dont take Numbers too seriously as everything lacks a final Number, everything is as the first words says: A very basic concept.
