The way her trait works is as follow : She targets an area within a cast range (which is about, or a bit bigger than, a tower's attack range), and throws a warglaive at it (the warglaive has a medium sized hitbox). The warglaive will travel to the area chosen at slow speed, dealing damage along its path, and travel back to Naisha at similar speed, dealing damage on its way to her. Naisha has a single charge of this, and it is lost upon casting the ability -- however, it is regained when the warglaive reaches Naisha once more. This does not cost any mana, giving Naisha a consistent, reliable source of 'AoE' damage, as the warglaive will go through all enemies -- making it an excellent source of damage in team fights, or a solid wave clear.
Naisha is also not dismounted by using this : she can keep moving around on her special mount -- a Nightsaber -- while throwing warglaives around. This is counterbalanced by the fact that both blinds and silences will affect her capacity to throw it around, and its slow movement speed. However, it also means that, if you go with a Warglaive focused build, Naisha can be on her mount for a big part of the game -- as long as she does not cast an ability, or take damage, she will stay on her mount with no speed debuff at all!
Her [Q] ability (Glaive Burst) aims for synergy with her trait. For 60 mana, on a 10 seconds cooldown, she makes her projectile burst, destroying it and dealing medium damage to an area. This sets your trait on a 3 seconds cooldown. There is no delay, cast or channel time to this ability, making it a good combo with a few of the talents in Naisha's talent tree, that focuses on Warglaive. Using this unmounts Naisha, but puts no cooldown to her mount.
Her [W] ability (Dagger Throw) aims to give her better presence if she does get dismounted. It is your everyday, basic spam ability : A VERY fast, long range projectile with low damage, low mana cost and very low cooldown, with many charges. This allows her a source of damage outside of her Warglaive. The damage is ability damage, making it so she has a way to deal damage when blinded. However, this is not usable while mounted -- this cannot even be used to dismount yourself. The damage is negligeable, making it necessary to spam this ability, and use your trait wisely, to get consistent and competitive damage on Naisha. The projectile goes very fast, making it hard to miss -- and missing a single dagger, unless built for, is not very punishing, as you have many charges, and each charge being on an extremely low cooldown. It also deals negligeable damage, so missing a single one will not likely make the big difference in a fight. Naisha is, overall, not built for one-on-one encounters -- it is easy in those confrontations to focus on dodging her warglaives, making her mobility her only good tool. And her daggers, as stated, deal damage that can be cast aside as not useful enough to give up this tool. However, daggers can become a serious problem if you build for it -- a problem that the enemy team will have to deal with quickly, if they wish to stay alive.
Her [E] ability (Predator's Mark) can only be used while mounted, and complements her ability to hit many targets. Targets hit recently by Naisha are revealed, slowed, and take extra damage from Naisha for 3 seconds. Nearby targets affected by this will also take a pretty hefty amount of damage. She is not dismounted by using this, incentivising the player to chase the weakened and revealed targets while the debuff is up -- The mana cost is quite high, backed up by a 13 seconds cooldown. It can be important, at certain stages of a fight, to hit key targets and make them truly afraid of your damage output, using a well place Predator's Mark -- keep in mind that you can still dismount while the debuff is on them, to spam a certain target with buffed daggers. All DoT effects are also buffed by the vulnerability, and so, if you built for it, a single dagger can do well around 150 damage -- quite easily, may I add. It can also be used when escaping a team fight. Throw a warglaive behind you, and then use Predator's Mark -- you're still on your mount, they're probably dismounted, slowed, and you're far, far, faaar away by the time they mount back up. This can make Naisha extremely hard to catch. However, keep in mind that you do channel for a little while after casting this -- so if the enemy is nearing you quickly, sometimes it may be better to keep running, and hope that you reach your forts, as the channel may give your enemies the time to catch up, and crowd control you.
