Nat Pagle

Legendary Fisherman

Current version: 1.2

Nat Pagle is a specialist who affects the battlefield without being present in fights while using a unique fishing mechanic.

Pros:
    Global map presence
    Provides utility and pushing potential
Cons:
    No presence in teamfights
Depends on RNG to get the fish he needs

Statistics:
Health: 1,409 (+4% per level)
Regen: 3.30 (+4% per level)
Atk Speed: 0.89 per second
Damage: 43 (+4% per level)

Combat Trait

1
Fishing
Cooldown: 2 seconds

Nat Pagle starts fishing from a nearby target fishing node. Any damage taken will interrupt Fishing.

During Fishing, Nat Pagle cannot move and has a different basic ability bar. Q reels in the hook, and W and E can be unlocked through talents. Eventually, a fish will bite, causing the fishing bob to splash. Nat Pagle can catch the fish by reeling the hook in soon after a fish bites.

Nat Pagle's secondary ability bar is used to store fish; every time he catches one, it will be added to this bar if he has room. Nat Pagle can store up to 6 fish at a time. See Secondary Abilities for all types of fish.

Fishing nodes include friendly healing fountains and pools created by Conch of Neptulon.

Fishing works like the profession in World of Warcraft.

Primary Abilities

1
Enchanted Lure
Cooldown: 30 seconds

Nat Pagle applies an enchanted lure to his hook, guaranteeing that the next 2 fish he catches from Fishing are Rare or Epic.

The cooldown of Enchanted Lure starts after the fish are caught.
2
Conch of Neptulon
Cooldown: 20 seconds

Nat Pagle blows the Conch of Neptulon, causing an effect at a target location. Effects vary with location.

Healing Fountain:
If Conch of Neptulon targets a destroyed healing fountain, it is repaired to full health and converted to Nat Pagle's team.

Open Ground:
If Conch of Neptulon targets an open area on the ground, it creates a pool there for 60 seconds. This pool acts as a fishing node, and slows enemy heroes within it by 40%.
3
Fishing Chair
Cooldown: 40 seconds

Nat Pagle sets up his fishing chair and sits at a target location.

During Fishing Chair, Nat Pagle gains a shield equal to 100% of his maximum health. Fishing Chair ends when the shield is destroyed or Nat Pagle attempts to move. The cooldown of Fishing Chair does not start until its effect ends.

Fishing Chair grants Nat Pagle Unstoppable, prevents him from moving, makes Fishing uninterruptible, and causes Enchanted Lure's cooldown to regenerate 33% faster.

Secondary Abilities

1
Fish
Fish that Nat Pagle can catch are separated into three qualities: Common, which are caught 40% of the time; Rare, caught 40% of the time; and Epic, caught 20% of the time. With Enchanted Lure active, this changes to: Rare, caught 60% of the time; and Epic, caught 40% of the time. There are Legendary fish only obtainable through special conditions from certain talents.

All fish with targeted effects have global range.

Basic fish:

Heroic Abilities

1
Summon Gahz'ranka
Cooldown: 120 seconds

Nat Pagle applies a Zulian Mudskunk lure to his fishing pole, causing the next fish he successfully catches to be the hydra Gahz'ranka. Gahz'ranka will travel down the nearest lane, attacking any enemies along the way. Gahz'ranka has 1550 (+4% per level) health and attacks for 220 (+4% per level) damage every 1.5 seconds. Additionally, Gahz'ranka casts a Forked Lightning spell every 5 seconds, dealing 300 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies in a cone.

Gahz'ranka lasts until it is killed, and the cooldown doesn't start until then.
2
Underlight Angler
Cooldown: 15 seconds

Nat Pagle upgrades his fishing pole to the Underlight Angler. After channeling for 2 seconds, he can teleport to any fishing node on the map. Channel is interrupted by any damage.

Special Mount

1
No Mount
Nat Pagle has no mount, preferring to walk instead. His steady pace makes him immune to Roots and Slows.

Reward: Enchanted Lure now guarantees Epic fish.

Way of the Flounder - Nat Pagle is put into Stealth when he casts Fishing Chair. Additionally, reduce the cooldown of Fishing Chair to 30 seconds.
