Priest of Forgotten Shadows

The moment she touched the blade, a name was spoken in her mind: Xal'atath. She knew then that she could not destroy the dagger. Not yet. How can one defeat a power she does not understand?

Natalie is a Multiclass Support or Assassin. She can heal allies and deal damage at the same time. With her secondary abilities, she is capable of large burst damage or powerful healing. Although her low health pool makes her vulnerable, with proper management of her trait and abilities, Natalie is a force to be reckoned with.


Strengths:

Very versatile, able to deal damage and heal at the same time.

Can be a very powerful support when paired with Warrior heroes.

Can have incredible burst damage if she is not focused.

When paired with Malfurion, because of his passive, she can be a terror to the enemies, as her high mana costs are not as much of a problem.

Her level 20 talents offer an immense boost to her utility, making it an important goal to level up quickly.

Leap of Faith can be used to both save allies and expose enemies.

Weaknesses:

No escape abilities, making her very vulnerable to crowd control.

Squishy, so she can be killed easily if not protected.

Void Form and Holy Form have a cooldown, so she may be stuck in one form at the wrong time.

High mana costs on secondary abilities along with no form of mana gain other than regeneration, Healing Globes, and Fountains means that she needs to carefully decide what abilities she needs to use.

A lack of disables makes it extra hard for her to deal with Warriors because of their high health pools.

Her damage is exclusively single-target without certain talents, so her teamfighting is not as strong as some other assassins.

Void Torrent is a channel, and so any hard crowd control will interrupt it.

Void Form
Transfers Natalie into Void Form. In Void form, damage is increased by 25% but healing/shield power is reduced by 25%. Using this ability transforms it into Holy Form. 6 second cooldown.

Transfers Natalie into Holy Form. In Holy form, healing/shield power is increased by 25% but damage is reduced by 25%. Using this ability transforms it into Void Form. 6 second cooldown.

Primary Abilities

Mind Spike
Deals 250 + (4%) damage to the target and marks them. If Mind Spike is used on a marked target, it turns into Mind Blast. Only 1 enemy can be marked at a time. 70 Mana. 6 second cooldown.

Power Word: Shield
Shield an ally for 450 (+4%) or 20% of their maximum health, whichever is greater, for 4 seconds. If the shield is broken, that ally gains 50% movement speed for 2 seconds. If used on an ally below 50% health, turns into Shadow Mend. 90 Mana. 8 second cooldown.

Shadow Word: Pain
Deals 150 + (4%) damage over 7 seconds to the target enemy. If the enemy is below 20% health, this transforms into Shadow Word: Death. If Shadow Word: Pain is used on an enemy below 20% health but Shadow Word: Death is on cooldown, Shadow Word: Pain will be used instead. 60 Mana. 5 second cooldown.

Secondary Abilities

Mind Blast
Deals 550 + (4%) damage to target enemy. That enemy cannot be marked for 10 seconds. 100 Mana.

Shadow Mend
Heals the ally for 500 + (4%). The ally will then take damage every second until they have taken 40% of the healing as damage or leave combat. 100 Mana.

Shadow Word: Death
Deals 850 + (4%) damage to the target enemy. 120 Mana. 2 charges, 20 second recharge time.

Heroic Abilities

Leap of Faith
Natalie pulls the target Hero to her location. If it is an ally, it heals them for 450 + (4%). If it is an enemy, it deals 250 + (4%) damage. Increases the healing/shield power bonus of Holy Form to 50%. 100 Mana. 75 second cooldown

Void Torrent
Channel for 3 seconds, dealing 1000 + (4%) damage to the target over the duration and slowing them by 25%. Canceled if the target steps out of range. Increases the damage boost from Void Form to 50%. 150 Mana. 80 second cooldown.

TALENTS

Level 1:

Quest! Dark Influence: Deal damage to enemy heroes with Shadow Word: Pain 50 times. Upon completion, Shadow Word: Pain causes the target to take 20% increased damage for the duration.

Quest! Relentless Protection: Use Power Word: Shield on an allied hero 30 times. Upon completion, increase the shield amount by 50%.

Quest! Tortured Minds: Use Mind Blast on an enemy hero 25 times. Upon completion, Mind Blast now deals 20% of its damage to enemies around the target.

Level 4:

Voidspawn: Summon a Voidspawn that seeks out the nearest enemy hero for 6 seconds. If it touches an enemy hero, it will deal 250 + (4%) damage in 3 range. 40 second cooldown.

Lightspawn: Summon a Lightspawn that seeks out the nearest allied hero (Other than Natalie) for 6 seconds. If it touches an allied hero, it heals allies in 3 range for 250 + (4%). 40 second cooldown.

Spirit of Balance: Summon a Spirit of Balance at the target location for 6 seconds. Over the duration, it will heal allies in 3 range for 125 + (4%) and deal 125 + (4%) damage. 40 second cooldown.

Level 7:

Darkness and Light: The cooldown of Holy Form and Void Form is reduced to 3 seconds.

Never-ending Death: The recharge time on Shadow Word: Death is reduced to 15 seconds.

Gentle Shadows: The damage dealt by Shadow Mend is reduced to 20% of the healing done.

Level 13:

Widespread Insanity: Mind Spike can mark up to three enemies, but marks only last 15 seconds.

Swift Shadows: Shadow Mend gives the target ally a 25% movement speed boost as long as the damage is taken.

Eternal Pain: Multiple instances of Shadow Word: Pain on a single target will stack their duration up to 20 seconds.

Level 16:

Deathly Touch: The health threshold for Shadow Word: Death is increased to 35%.

Dark Mercy: The health threshold for Shadow Mend is increased to 60%

Mind Barrage: The mark immunity from Mind Blast is removed.

Level 20:

Overflowing Darkness: Void Torrent also hits enemies near the target for 50% damage and causes the target to flee for the duration. The decreased healing/shield power is removed from Void Form.

Faithful Flight: Leap of Faith's cooldown is reduced by 15 seconds and it has 2 charges. The decreased damage is removed from Holy Form.

Guardian Spirit: Summons a guardian spirit on an ally hero for 4 seconds. For the duration, healing on the target is increased by 30%. If the target takes fatal damage during the duration, the guardian spirit sacrifices itself, ending the duration but healing the ally hero for 40% of their maximum health.
