Combat Trait

Void Eruption
After gaining 100 Insanity, Void Eruption can be activated to release a blast of void energy at the target location after 1 second, dealing 250 damage to all enemy Heroes in a large area and entering Voidform. Casting Void Eruption resets the cooldowns of your Basic Abilities.

Passive: Basic Abilities generate Insanity which is lost on death.

Voidform
While active, increase Spell Power is increased by 50% and Movement Speed increases by 3% per second, up to 30%. Drains 10 Insanity per second, gradually increasing each second.

Call shadows to inflict pain on enemies in a small area, causing them to take 120 damage over 5 seconds.

Send forward shadow energy, causing the first enemy Hero hit to take 180 damage over 3 seconds and radiate an aura of shadow energy dealing 60 damage per second to nearby enemies and Slowing them 20% during that time.

Generates 5 Insanity for each unique hero hit over its duration.

Mind Blast
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Mana: 50


After 0.75 seconds, shoot forward a blast of energy dealing 300 damage to the first enemy Hero hit. During Voidform, the cooldown of Mind blast is reduced by 4 seconds.

Generates 12 Insanity upon hitting an enemy Hero.

Speak death unto an enemy hero, dealing 140 damage after 1 second. This damage is increased by up to 150% based on their missing Health.

After 0.75 seconds, release a terrifying scream that Fears all nearby enemies for 3 seconds, Silencing them and forcing them to run away.

Talents

Level 1
  • Fortress of the Mind: Gain 7 Spell Armor for each enemy Hero affected by Shadow Word: Pain's damage over time.
  • Hysteria: Reduce the cooldown of Mind Sear by 0.5 seconds whenever it damages a Heroic secondary target.
  • Lingering Insanity: After Voidform ends, the Movement speed persists 3 seconds longer.

Level 4
  • Death Throes: Allied or enemy Hero deaths grant 20 Insanity.
  • Mania: While you have increased Movement Speed, your Basic Abilities cost 40% less Mana and recharge 20% faster.
  • Dark Void: Increase the radius of the area of effect damage of Mind Sear by 25%.

Level 7
  • Misery: Enemies affected by the damage over time effect of Shadow Word: Pain receive 30% less healing during Voidform.
  • Mind Flay: Mind Sear's Slow is increased by 5% for each hero in its radius.
  • Mind Shatter: Mind Blast splashes for 75% damage to nearby enemies and has 10% longer range.

Level 13
  • Intangibility: While Voidform is active, gain 30 Physical Armor.
  • Shadowfiend: Activating Voidform summons a Shadowfiend to fight for you for its duration.
  • Twist of Fate: Deal 15% bonus damage to enemies who were recently healed.
  • Vampiric Touch: Heal for 20% of the damage dealt by Shadow Word: Pain.

Level 16
  • Black Hole: Void Eruption pulls enemies towards the center and has a 20% larger radius.
  • Shadow Word: Void: Shadow Word: Pain deals an additional 2% of the target's maximum Health each second.
  • Void Torrent: Mind sear does 40% bonus damage for each enemy Hero in its radius.
  • Last Word: Silence an enemy hero for 2 seconds. 20 second cooldown.

Level 20
  • Malediction: Shadow Word: Death now removes the damage over time effect of Shadow Word: Pain and deals that much bonus damage. If the target dies, instantly enter Voidform.
  • Psychic Horror: Psychic Scream no longer costs Insanity and has a 15% larger radius.
  • Surrender to Madness: During Voidform your abilities generate 100% more Insanity, but once Voidform ends you take damage equal to 90% of your current health.
  • Dispersion: Become immune to all hostile effects for 1 second. During this time you are unable to attack or use abilities.
