The Add-On Hero

To make Arthas into the fearsome raid boss he deserves to be, he needs the power of Ner'Zhul. Together, they become the Lich King. Ner'Zhul is a bodyless hero that is permanently Attached to Arthas. He can only be picked if Arthas was picked, just like Gall needs his Cho. The Lich King is meant to be a two-in-one double warrior. This means, you are using two players that do the job of two frontliners, but in one body. The Lich King is the ultimate Tank, requiring two players to handle him. Arthas can still be played by a single player, but with Ner'Zhul you have the choice to upgrade him into the two-player Lich King.

Combat Trait

Runic Power
You and Arthas each have Runic Power as a resource (0-100) that only you can see. Toggle to transfer 10 Runic Power per second from you to Arthas. Each point of Runic Power increases Arthas' maximum health, health regen, mana regen and size by 0.5%.

Generate 2 Runic Power per second and 2 for each enemy minion that dies in your vicinity.
Arthas' Runic Power decays by 5 points per second when you do not transfer.

Primary Abilities

Icy Winds
(40 Runic Power, medium CD, long uptime)

An Icy Wind howls through the lanes, following your mouse cursor for several seconds. When passing through units, they take light damage and are slowed by 15%. The wind only has effect if it has traveled a certain distance recently, so you will have to move it around constantly. The wind has a relatively large turning radius but can pass through terrain. The wind starts at your core and is not limited in range.

Soul Eater
(0 Runic Power, long CD)

Attach soul leaching bonds to all enemies in a cone. Bonded targets that stay within a certain range take light damage and get one stack of Depletion every 0.5 seconds, up to 8 stacks. Each stack lasts 2 seconds and decreases ability power by 5%. Depletion stacks fade one by one every 2 seconds. Generate 2 Runic Power for each stack of Depletion applied.

Can only hit enemies that were recently damaged by Arthas. Stacks last twice as long on targets that were recently hit by Frostmourne Hungers (Arthas' trait) and generate twice as much Runic Power.

Cast again to consume all applied stacks of Depletion immediately and stun enemies for 0.05 seconds per stack of Depletion on them.

True Power
(20 Runic Power, medium CD)

Empower Arthas' next basic ability or trait.

Death Coil: Hits two additional enemies near the target for 50% damage. Can be cast on allies instead, healing them for 50% of the normal amount of damage. The secondary Coils hit enemies in both cases.

Howling Blast: A second Howling Blast is cast from its impact point to Ner'Zhul's mouse cursor up to a certain range (half its usual casting range).

Frozen Tempest: Upon acivation send out a shockwave that applies three stacks of Frozen Tempest's slowing effect.

Frostmourne Hungers: Adds knockback effect to the target and all enemies in a small cone behind it.

Heroic Abilities

Raise the Undead
Temporary resurrect all dead nearby allied Heroes. They cannot use their heroic abilities and die after 15 seconds or when the hero respawns. These heroes are controlled by the AI.

Domination
Take control over Arthas' movement and his basic attacks. While controlling Arthas he regenerates 5% maximum health per second and deals tripple damage with basic attacks. You can only use Soul Eater and Sublimity while controlling Arthas. Lasts 10 seconds.

When Domination wears off, Arthas loses 2% maximum health per second for 15 seconds.

Special Mount

Sublimity
Arthas gains 20% movement speed for 5 seconds and ignores unit collision. Can be used while mounted.

Talents

Here are some talent ideas in no specific order:


--The Frozen Throne
Your fountain is expanded by the Frozen Throne. The closer Arthas is to it, the stronger his Runic Power gets. Upgrades the maximum Runic Power of Arthas in dependency on his distance to your fountain.

--Ice Block
(duh)

--Runic Healing
Spend all your remaining Runic Power to heal Arthas for X percent of his maximum health where X is half your remaining Runic Power.

--Harsh Winds
Icy Winds pushes allied and enemy heroes gently in the direction the wind is flowing when passing through them.

--Unbreakable Spirit
While below 20% maximum life you generate X% more Runic Power from all sources.

--Truesight
While above X Runic Power, all enemies within a medium Range are exposed/visible if they are above 50% maximum health.

--Remorseless
While at or abote X Runic Power get Relentless. Getting stunned, rooted or silenced reduces Arthas' Runic Power by Y.

--Soul Imprisonment
Generate 10 additional Runic Power from Drain Souls when a target dies while bonded.
