Onwa, Diablo 2 Druid

Tribal Guardian

PLEASE READ below.

A druid that can change his role based on his level 1 talent choices and affects his early talent choices with different abilities he can learn. Similar to the Diablo 2 skill tree.
At level 1 you are given the choice of 5 abilities, each one when chosen giving you a unique talent tree for that build with unique abilities.

Level one talents have their unique specialization placed in front of the ability.

If you choose, say, "Raven" as your level 1 talent then you would only have access to Summoner Talents for the rest of the game. I labeled the spells/talents if they are for specifically for that specialization. Elementalist, Summoner, Werebear etc.

Summoner-
Raven
Elementalist- Firestorm
Werebear- Bear Rush
Werewolf- Swipe
Vine Support- Poison Creeper

With the early talents they tend to have lower cooldowns also. I didn't bother to try and put a lot of numbers because when it comes to just basic concept it doesn't really matter too much. Just the basic idea that this ability does little damage or that ability does a LOT of damage. etc etc

I tried to keep in mind that since the way his talents work you would be left with just one ability starting off on his Q. So the idea I had an mind was he would have some base abilities that are pretty general but would be good for when he acquires his talent abilities for later on. Will refer to these as Base Abilities in the secondary abilities section.

When it comes to passives in the Talents and abilities below. If it's not labeled as a Talent then that passive applies to having that ability as a whole.

Talents 13 and Onward

With a lot of ideas put into the earlier talents. I wanted to simplify the rest of the talent tree for the most part. Level 13 and 16 being more generic but useful talents that include some base buffs to stealth and other things. One talent for each specialization that can further tune their abilities and some baseline talents that are in every talent specialization tree.

Level 13 Talents:

Talent 1:

-Summoner: Raven Lookout: Summon a raven to keep lookout revealing an area and all stealthed enemies for 10 seconds. 45 second cooldown. Enemies in the area are attacked by a raven.

Talent 3: Skin like Bear: Whenever taking damage that deals more than 20% of your life gain 75 spell armor for 3 seconds. 20 second cooldown.

-Werebear: Passive: Maul Maul: Refreshes the cooldown of Maul when an enemy dies.

-Werewolf: Passive: Blinding Speed: Each attack applies a stack of Blinding Speed. Upon reaching 5 stacks the target is blinded for 2 seconds. Has a 20 second cooldown. Each hit reducees the cooldown by 1 second. While blinded they take 25% more damage from Onwa.

Talent 2: Mana Potion: Regenerate 80 mana per second over 5 seconds and instantly reset basic ability cooldowns. 60 second coolcown.

Talent 3: ThornCoat: Activate ThornCoat to reflect 100% of all damage back at the attacker. In the meantime Onwa takes no damage. 60 second cooldown. 3 second duration. Is immobile during ThornCoat.

Level 20 Talents:

Talent 1:
-Summoner: Cleanse Spirits: Cleanses your summons of any ill effects and continues to do so over 10 seconds every second. 60 second cooldown.

-Elementalist: From the Ashes: Upon dying you have the option to revive 5 seconds later. If you do choose to revive you explode dealing a large amount of damage to nearby enemies and revive with half health. 180 second cooldown. Your next death is worth no experience.

Talent 2: Heroic Fortitude: You may now have 2 charges of your heroic ability and they gain triple the effectiveness of Lifeblood.

Talent 3: Healing Potion: Heal for 30% of your total life. 60 second cooldown.

Specialization and Their Abilities.

To clear up in case confused. These are how the abilities would be chosen throughout a game.

Leverl One-> chooses Raven--> Level 4 can only choose one of the three talents for Summon Wolves. -> Level 7 can only choose one of the three talents for Grizzly Bear. --> No choice in which ultimate but would get Bolster Summon in this case.

It's possible I could probably think up a second ultimate for each Specialization as well but perhaps in the future. Was trying not to have too much overlap with abilities with other heroes.

Though that's about it. I decided to also have Specialization Talents for lvl 13 and 16 but when it comes to abilities, that's how it pretty much works. You wouldn't see what other talents are available to the other specializations once you chose your level 1. Which in this example is a summoner ability. So if you chose Raven you wouldn't see any Elementalist, Werebear, Werewolf, or Vine Support talents.
