Overmind

The Great Evil

The Overmind, or known in the prophecy as the Great Hungerer and as the Great Betrayer by Amon, was the leader of the Zerg Swarm.

Overmind is a specialist with a unique way of playing the game. He does not participate in battles as a physical unit, but helps at a distance.

The overmind takes the place of the Core. He can not move, but can use abilities.

Combat Trait

Great Evil
Passive: The Overmind takes the place of the Core. He can not move, but can use abilities. The Core gets +40 percent to attack and +15 percent to health.

Primary Abilities

Full Control
The Overmind enslaves creeps in the chosen area, gaining the opportunity to control them. Controlled creeps gain +15 percent of attack and health.

Do not affects mercenaries.

Cost: 20 mana
Cooldown: 8 seconds

Contaminate
The Overmind paralyzes the chosen enemy structure, depriving it of the opportunity to attack. The action time is 5 seconds.

Do not affects Core.

Cost: 45 mana
Cooldown: 12 seconds.

Chrysalis
The Overmind puts the chosen hero in Chrysalis for 5 seconds. During this time, the hero fills himself 25 percent of the missing health and mana and gets an increase in movement speed by 15 percent for 5 seconds.

Cost: 40 mana.
Cooldown: 15 seconds.

The Overmind sends a flock of 8 elite zerglings and 4 elite hydralisks along the chosen line.

Cost: 45 mana.
Cooldown: 50 seconds.

The Overmind throws Sac in the chosen area, inflicting 140 points of damage to all opponents in the field and releasing from Sac 6 roaches.

Cost: 45 mana.
Cooldown: 50 seconds.

Level 1



1.More Control
Active: Stuns mercs in the selected area for 3 seconds.
Cooldown: 20 seconds.

2.Great Evil
Passive: Core gets +20 percent to health.

3.Dominate
Reduces the recovery time of Contaminate by 2 seconds.

4.Heal Master
Chrysalis now restores 25 percent more health.


Level 4



1.More - Better
Reduces the action time of Chrysalis by 2 seconds.

2.Faster - Better
Increases the bonus to speed from Chrysalis to 20 percent.

3.Less - Better
Reduces the cost of Chrysalis to 30 mana.


Level 7



1.Run, Hero, Run!
Active: Increases the speed of the selected hero by 20 percent for 5 seconds.
Cooldown: 40 seconds.

2.Cerebrate
Active: Places Cerebrate in the selected place. Cerebrate increases movement speed and damage caused by creeps. The action time is 30 seconds. Last for 2 charges.
Cooldown: 45 seconds.

3.I See You!
Active: Marks the enemy hero, making him visible for 10 seconds. Last for 2 charges.
Cooldown: 20 seconds.


Level 10



1.Rage of Swarm
Heroic: The Overmind sends a flock of 8 elite zerglings and 4 elite hydralisks along the chosen line.

Active: Sends Overlord in the selected direction. Overlord flies through the entire map and opens a review.
Cooldown: 20 seconds.

2.Overseer
Active: Sends Overseer to the selected point. Having reached the point, Overseer opens a review in the field of action. Detector.
Cooldown: 40 seconds.

3.Psi-impulse
Active: Sends Psi-impulse through the whole map. Hitting an enemy hero, he opens his location for 3 seconds.
Cooldown: 60 seconds.


Level 16



1.Virophage
Active: Sets in the selected point Virophage, which strengthens the structure by 50%. Acts on forts and Overmind.
Cooldown: 45 seconds.

2.Bile launcher
Active: Sets in the selected point Bile launcher, causing 500 damage from the attackw. Attacks only enemy buildings.
Cooldown: 60 seconds.

3.Scourge nest
Active: Sets at the selected point the Scourge nest, which generates 5 Scourge once every 20 seconds. The Scourges follow the nearest line and attack the enemies, exploding and causing 150 damage to the area.
Cooldown: 100 seocnds.


Level 20



1.For the Swarm!
Heroic: Rage of Swarm now have 2 charges.

2.All-consuming swarm
Heroic: Rage of Swarm now also sends 2 ultralisks and 3 mutalisks.

3.Rain of Swarm
Heroic: Sac now dealing 300 points of damage and releasing 12 roaches from Sac.

4.Horror of the Swarm
Heroic: Swarm from Above doesn't throws Sac. It calls for Leviathan, who is walking along the line and inflicting 400 points of damage to the opponents. Leviathan can spawn mutallisks and corruptors.
