The pyro is a melee assassin who emerges from the deepest, darkest shadows of the Nexus in a fiery tornado of destruction. 

He/she is a formidable melee hero who is strongest when in conjunction which another hero who can lock down enemies, allowing the pyro to deal massive damage. He/she is also a strong team fighter, fitting especially well into compositions which deal massive area-of-effect damage.

Strengths

Specialized at hunting down and chasing enemy heroes. His/her flamethrower ability deals massive damage to heroes very close to the pyro. Furthermore, the pyro can use scorch shot to finish off fleeing foes.

Strong disengage ability. Airblast is a very mana dependent ability, which means the pyro can exhaust his entire mana pool very quickly, but with a large pay off. This is very helpful when the entire team must disengage from a fight.

Has a strong team utility with vision. Scorch shot combines the vision of Tyrande's Sentinel, but with a higher damage component.


Weaknesses

Dependent on composition - The pyro lacks a slow or any form of crowd control (untalented), which means that it is difficult for him/her to deal damage to enemies who can retreat effectively. 

Relatively low health pool - His/her low health pool means he can be focused down rather quickly and can be taken out before the fight really starts. Furthermore, he/she is a melee hero which leaves him especially vulnerable. 

Mana dependent - His/her abilities have a high mana usage which makes the pyro frequently have to return to base or find a mana well. 

Combat Trait

Combustion
Your damaging abilities ignite enemy targets, dealing 40 damage (+20 per level) over three seconds. 2 basic attacks will also activate your combat trait.

Primary Abilities

Flamethrower
You spray your flamethrower in a frontal cone dealing 60 (+8 per level) damage. The damage is applied quicker the closer you are to the target.

Scorch Shot
Fire a flare in a straight line in front of you, dealing 100 (+20 per level) damage to the target. If the flare hits no target, reveal all enemies in a small area around where it lands.

Deals double damage to targets afflicted by combustion.

Air Blast
Knock back all enemies in a small radius in front of you. 

1 second cooldown
120 mana

Heroic Abilities

Phlogistinator
Empower your flamethrower, dealing double damage for 8 seconds.

70 second cooldown

Armageddon
After a short delay you explode dealing 500 (+30 damage) damage to all enemies around you.

100 second cooldown
80 mana.

Talents

Level 1

Consume - Your combustion last for 1.0 seconds longer.

Concussion blast - Airblast knocks back 20% further.

Block - Periodically reduces the damage received from Hero basic Attacks by 20%. Stoed 2 charges.

Regeneration Master - Collecting Regeneration Globes permanently increases Health regeneration by 1.5 per second. 

Level 4

Envenom - Activate to poison an enemy hero, dealing 209.88 (+29.88 per level) damage over 10 seconds. 

Pepper Spray - Scorch shot also blinds the next basic attack by the target.

Shockwave - Air blast also deals 30 (+9.5 per level) damage.

Envelop - Flamethrower has increases range - which deals deals damage at a slower rate than normal.

Level 7

Puncturing shot - Scorch shot now affects all targets along its path at a 50% damage penalty.

Fire axe - Your auto attacks deal 50% more damage to targets afflicted by combustion.

MMMPHHH - Activate to heal 35% of your max health over 6 seconds. 

200 seconds cooldown - this is reduces by 1 second for every tick of combustion against an enemy hero.

Maul - Your auto attacks deal 100% more damage to structure.

Level 13

Intense Flame - Your flamethrower deals has a higher application rate within a short range.

Blast Furnace - Active to apply combustion to all nearby enemy heroes within a medium range.

40 second cooldown.

Spell Shield - Upon taking ability damage, reduce that damage and further ability damage by 50% for 3 seconds. Can only trigger once every 30 seconds.

Relentless - Reduce the duration of silences, stuns, slows and roots against your Hero by 50%.

Level 16

No Escape - Your flamethrower now slows all enemies by 30% for 1.5 seconds. 

Afterburner - Your combustion also deals 10 (+7 damage per level) to all enemy targets in a small vicinity around the target for every tick of combustion.

Blood for Blood - Active to deal 10% of target enemy hero's Max Health and heal for twice that amount.

Detonate - Scorch shot now knock away all enemies around the target/ the place it terminates. 

Level 20

Kritz - Phlogistinator now deals triple damage for the first 4 seconds.

Annihilate - Armageddon now stuns for 0.75 seconds.

Bolt of the storm - Activate to teleport to a nearby location.

PYROLAND - Activate to enter Pyroland - You take no damage during this time but after leaving, 50% of the damage is dealt to your over 8 seconds.

80 second cooldown.
