"A young and innocent queen. Quite unused to the bloodshed our heroes are bringing to her gardens. She is a fairy tale princess who in the day rules fairly and justly over her picturesque kingdom. At night Queen Nightshade is infested by plantspores becoming a horrifying monster. If Nightshade is Jekyll, the Spore Queen is Mr. Hyde. She is all the darkness within her given life. She cares only for her plants everything else is simply a tool to spread their infestation."
She is the sister to Raena, the Lady of Thorns, the current Realm Lord of King's Crest and Dragon Shire's announcer. Queen Nightshade cursed Raena's husband, a knight from Dragon Shire and the former ruler of King's Crest, turning him into a monstrous form, which forced his children to seal him away and Raena to rule in his stead. The Dragon Knight's children vowed from that day to fight against Queen Nightshade and protect their father's kingdom from her growing infestation.
Later it turned out that Raena was also slowly getting affected by the same curse. With the Raven's Lord attack, she was weakened, causing the curse to petrify her completely. It's unclear how those recent events affected Queen Nightshade's position. With Raena defeated and Raven Lord weakened, a power vacuum has been created, a good opportunity for the Spore Queen to rise, at least until the cataclysmic arrive of Deathwing.

Changelog:
28.10.2019:
Added a Lore section.
Added a hero description..
Added Pros and Cons section.
Added Comments section.
I feel Queen Nightshade isn't very known character even within the game, as many may even mistake her with Lady of Thorns, the Dragon Shire announcer, so I felt the need to add the lore section to explain a bit about who she is. Though even Blizzard chose to keep this character a mystery and only little is known about her. I also used the chance to explain the hero concept a bit more by adding Pros and Cons and better explanations. V 1.0: 25.10.2019 Concept published!
