Continuing with my theme of unique heroes with very interesting traits is this one of Ragnaros, the Firelord himself.
I'd imagine the model size as either as big as Cho'Gall, or even slightly bigger.

Rough Level 1 Stats
Health - ~2600
Damage - ~165
Auto Attack Speed - ~.75
Does not use Mana

Combat Trait

Rooted; Intense Flames
Rooted
Ragnaros is permanently rooted, with one movement option(Two with a certain heroic.). To compensate, his health is higher, and his damage is still high as well(Hence, why he's still meant to be an assassin.) This also means Pulls and Knockbacks cannot move you.
Intense Flames
Ragnaros' attacks deal 50% of their damage to nearby enemies; His ranged attacks explode somewhat and his melee attacks(Slamming Sulfuras into the target) let loose small lava shockwaves.

Primary Abilities

Sulfuras, Smash!
Smash Sulfuras into the ground, letting out a lava wave in a cone directly behind where you smash your hammer, dealing great damage with the slam and moderate with the wave.
Ability Stats
Damage(Slam): ~230
Damage(Wave): ~80, over 3 seconds(DoT)
Cost: ~65
Cooldown: ~12 seconds

Molten Seed
Ragnaros creates a molten seed, which deals low damage to nearby players for a decent amount of time. If the seed isn't destroyed, it explodes, dealing high damage to nearby players, which slowly decreases the farther away you are. AoE does damage the seed.
Ability Stats
Damage(Seed): ~20 per second
Damage(Wave): ~380
Duration(Time available to kill the seed): ~4 seconds
Range of the Wave: ~Base Ranged Range(Dealing 0% at the full range, and 50% halfway away, mind you.)
Cost: ~70
Cooldown: ~16 seconds
Seed's Health: ~8; Takes 1 damage from everything; Does not block skillshots, but takes damage from AoEs

Living Meteor
Ragnaros launches a Living Meteor towards the target enemy hero, which can take a decent amount of damage. Every 3 seconds, the next attack will knock the Living Meteor back a short distance. If the meteor connects with an enemy hero, it does high damage and knocks them back slightly.
Ability Stats
Damage: ~300
Duration: 15 seconds(Assuming it doesn't die or hit by that time.)
Cost: ~70
Cooldown: ~20 seconds
Meteor Health: ~350
Meteor Speed: ~110% of a hero's base movement speed

Empower Sulfuras
True Power of the Firelord only;
Activate to make your next few strikes deal increased damage, and strike faster.
Ability Stats
Damage Increase: 50%
Attack Speed Increase: 50%
Amount of strikes: 3
Cooldown: ~4 seconds after the final strike

Magma Blast
True Power of the Firelord only;
Blast a wave of intense flames towards the target through the ground, causing an eruption at the area when it hits.
Ability Stats
Damage(Wave): ~50
Damage(Eruption): ~300
Wave is targeted as a circle; This is where the eruption will go off
Cooldown: ~6 seconds

Dreadflame
True Power of the Firelord only;
Ragnaros stomps, creating two patches of Dreadflame on either side of him. These spread towards the nearest enemy every 5 seconds, and deal decent damage over time every second you spend in them. All patches stop spreading after 15 seconds, and fade after 3 more seconds.
Ability Stats
Damage: 50 per second
Cooldown: 15 seconds

Heroic Abilities

True Power of the Firelord
Ragnaros lifts himself from the ground, entering the Heroic final form of the Firelands raid, gaining legs and the ability to move at a slower pace. In this form, you have a new ability set, and higher damage, but can only do melee strikes.

Auto Attack Damage: ~320
Splash Damage: 100%
Auto Attack Speed: Same
Move Speed: ~80%
Duration: ~15 seconds
Cooldown: ~100 seconds(After the ability wears off)

Splitting Blow
Ragnaros burrows beneath the ground, slamming Sulfuras into the ground in front of him. Any enemy heroes hit by Sulfuras are pushed aside, and take large damage. Enemies that stand near Sulfuras at this point take damage over time, and every second Ragnaros stays beneath the ground, he summons a Son of Flame to attack his foes.
Ability Stats
Damage(Impact): 700
Damage(Heat): 30 per second
Ragnaros is in Stasis while this ability is active
Duration: 3 seconds
Cost: 100
Cooldown: 80 seconds
Son of Flame Stats
Health: ~500
Damage: ~40
Attack Speed: ~1.2
Last until killed; they go towards Ragnaros whenever he uses 'Blazing Eruption'.

Special Mount

Blazing Eruption
Activate to plunge beneath the ground, before erupting from the target area, dealing low damage to every enemy nearby and knocking them back. Can be cast anywhere with vision.
Ability Stats
Damage: ~50
Cooldown: ~15 seconds
1.5 second cast time

Skin Ideas

Master Skin
Have his base skin be the Molten Core Fight, from Vanilla WoW, and this be his updated Firelands fight skin, maybe with added things here and there(But no skulls please).
Ragnaros, Lightlord
Ragnaros, if maybe he hadn't been a total di- Jerk off. His abilities would be interlaced with Holy Light, looking brighter.
Ragnar'Os, The Cereal-lord

I thought I had an original idea for a new hero, but it looks like you beat me to it, haha!

I really love this character, you did a fantastic job with the ability ideas, the talents, the skins, the whole nine yards, I'm jealous that I didn't think of it first!

Hey man, amazing concept. The moment I read the part of "unique traits" I was skeptical, since so many concepts around here are roughly put together... but this one wasn't put together... it was CRAFTED. I really like this idea, and sincerely, I feel like this would make the age old Firelord justice. Mind that I am not easily satisfied!
I'm very, very into the Raid Boss feeling that being rooted gives, especially since in order to move away, you have to use your only movement, which in turn means you not only have to think about getting away, if you wanna maximize presence you gotta escape towards the next objective or lane that needs you. Really nice.
What do you think about giving him special interactions with bushes or sight reducing obstacles? It feels kinda weird to have mofo'ing Ragnaros lurk around the map. Maybe something like the enemy team gets notified with "RAGNAROS HAS MOVED LOCATION." Or he is visible through bushes (within vision range ofc).
Anyways,
Loving to see more complex concepts in the community. I would love to hear you opinion on my Morgl concept though, I feel like you could make some very interesting feedback. So thanks in advancement if you do so!

Aha, thanks. It's always great to hear such positive feedback, and it's nice to know I seem to have hit the nail on the head. The possibility of being seen through bushes is an interesting one, and I'll have to consider it, but thank you for the support. (^_^)

Great cereal Ragnaros! I have one skin: Lich Ragnaros with runic mace and dark/unholy/frost themed abillities. Sons of flame should be shadows.

This is the best concept I have seen for months, and would really love to see this hero as it is in this concept (Buffs and Nerfs to damage, but same abilities)
