Ragnaros (Under development - Talents add)

The Firelord

I desinged Ragnaros to be a melee specialist with high area damage and zoning potential. his passive are somewhat unique like his encounters in WoW. He would walk normaly like the 4 phase of the firelands encounter, and when active his trait, he would root himself on the ground like the original encounter, empowering his abilities.

HP: 1020 (+220 per level)
HP Regen: 2.207 (+0.543 per level)
Mana: 500 (+10 per level)
Mana Regen: 3 (+0.098 per level)
Attack Damage: 47 (+9 per level)
Attack Speed: 0.91

Combat Trait

1
Sulfuron keep lord
Ragnaros deal 1% of enemies maximum health near him (medium range) as damage every second.
When activated, root himself to empower your other abilities and increase your basic attack range (little increase). The damage per second increase to 2% of the maximum health, the range increases and you can reactivate the ability to end the effect. (1~2 seconds of animation)

Primary Abilities

Magma Blast
Deal (60+12) damage to a target at melee range. (point and click)

Cooldown: 7 seconds

Engulfing Flames
Engulf the target area in flames for 5 seconds dealing (26+9) damage per second.
[high range, area of effect similar to Tassadar's W]

Cooldown: 14 seconds

Molten Seed
Throw seeds at every enemy and structures in range that attach and deal (25+5) damage per second for 2 seconds.

Cooldown: 14 seconds

Secondary Abilities

magma blast [empowered by Sulfuron keep lord]
Deal (60+12) damage to a target at melee range (point and click). The target recive 20% more damage from other ragnaros attacks for 5 seconds and are slowed by 20% for 2 seconds.


Cooldown: 7 seconds

Engulfing Flames [empowered by Sulfuron keep lord]
Engulf the target area in flames for 5 seconds dealing (26+9) dmg per second. Enemies catch in the initial cast are rooted for 1 second, and enemies inside the area of effect are slowed for 10%

Cooldown: 14 seconds

Molten Seed [empowered by Sulfuron keep lord]
Throw seeds at every enemy and structures in range that attach and deal (25+5) damage per second for 2 seconds. after the duration, the seeds attached to heroes will spawn a fire elemental that persist for 3 seconds. the fire elemental will attack the attached hero dealing (15+5) damage.

Cooldown: 14 seconds

Sulfuras Smash [empowered by Sulfuron keep lord]
After channeling for 1 second, deal (150+30) damage to a target and stuns for 1 second. A lava wave are created in the direction of the blow, dealing (50+10) damage (low) and pushing enemies back (little push back). Ragnaros submerge and emerge back in front of the target durung the channeling, but will still be rooted by Sulfuron keep lord.

Cooldown: 100 seconds.

World in flames [empowered by Sulfuron keep lord]
Passive - Sulfuron keep lord deals double damage.

Active - Expel a fire ring that travels the entire map dealing (30+8) damage. Do not affect structures past the original range.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Sulfuras Smash
After channeling for 1 second, deal (150+30) damage to a target and stuns for 1 second. A lava wave are created in the direction of the blow, dealing (50+10) damage and pushing enemies back (little push back).

Cooldown: 100 seconds.

Passive - Sulfuron keep lord deals double damage.

Active - Expel a fire ring that travels a far distance dealing (30+8) damage.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Talents

Level 1
1 - Engulfing Flames - Destroy 1 ammo every second
2 - Molten Seed - Restore 15 mana for every hero affected
3 - Engulfing Flames - Deals 30% bonus damage to minions and mercenaries
3 - Regeneration Master
4 - Bribe

Level 4
1 - Magma Blast - increase the slow to 30%
2 - Magma Blast - increase the range by 25%
3 - Engulfing Flames - reduce cooldown by 3 seconds.
4 - Molten Seed - reduce cooldown by 3 seconds.

Level 7
1 - Magma Blast - With Sulfuron keep lord activated, deals 50% more damage
2 - Sulfuron keep lord - Increase the range of the damage by 50%
3 - Molten Seed - If molten seed kill his target, explodes for (25+5) damage. If fire elemental kill his target, he will be retargeted (prioritizing heroes) and add 2 seconds of duration.
4 - Magma blast - Splash for 50% damage in a small radius

Level 10
1 - Sulfuras Smash
2 - World in flames

Level 13
1 - Engulfing flames - Increase the range and width of engulfing flames by 33%
2 - Engulfing flames - Increase the root for 2 seconds.
3 - Sprint
4 - Submerge [Active] - While rooted by sulfuron keep lord, can submerge, becoming invunerable for 3 seconds. Deals (15+3) damage to nearby enemies every second while submerged. [1 minute Cooldown]

Level 16
1 - Magma Trap - After hitting Magma Blast, creates a magma trap behind your target. when stepped, throws every enemy in a small radius to the air and deal (20 + 4) damage
2 - Molten seed - Fire elementals persist for 4 seconds.
3 - Sons of Flames [Active] - Creates 3 sons of flames that will reach you in 1, 2 and 3 seconds. when each reach you, heals you by 15% your max hp and reduce your cooldowns by 1 second. Each Son of flame have 3 HP and can be targeted [1 minute cooldown]
4 - Blood for Blood

Level 20
1 - Splitting Blow [R1] - Increase damage and cast range by 30%. Creates lava waves in all directions.
2 - Superheated [R2] - Increase damage against heroes by 75%. Can affect structures past the original range.
3 - Hardened shield
4 - Fury of the Storm

Notes

Originaly, the name of the passive was Sulfuron Keep Lord, but i changed to Ragnaro's wrath. I don't think the new name fits the active part of the passive well, what do you think? I changed back the name to Sulfuron keep lord, better fits the active part of the trait.

Another thing is about the R2. the damage seems pretty low, and i had a idea that the ult would do double dmg in the original area of effect and the half damage to the world wide area. but this change makes me think that 10 seconds cooldown is pretty low. What do you think?

I think of him more like a melee specialist than a assassin because of his trait. I can always exclude the 1% max health and just keep the active part.

The molten seed originaly would spawn fire elementals in every target affected, but i think this would be so overpowered to push lanes with only one skill that i cameback with this. but it can have talents that fix this.

I understand the fell that "wrath" should give him a boost somehow (boosted his abilities, making it stronger and go father away), and for that I changed the name to better fit the concept.
For the ones that don't know, Sulfuron keep is the name of his home where he stands waiting "rooted" for the players.

World of flames don't stay normal o.o' but yes, i think it still does little with the trait on, i just need more ideas. (but remember that while he is rooted with World of flames choosen, he would deal 4% max hp on every target.)

Why does he have Molten Seeds? That makes him neither assassin nor specialist.
Why does his passive root him, instead of giving movement speed? It's called Wrath not other thing that I dont remember.
Why does World of Flames look like any other ability (that could replace Molten Seeds)?
Why does World of Flames stay normal with the Firelor's Wrath?
