Rakanishu

Lightning Fallen

Rakanishu is a fast moving, deceptively durable melee assassin. He has less damage than other melee assassins, but he's good at getting in and out of fights, and has crowd control on his abilities. He requires lightning reflexes and rapid cunning to play effectively.

Overcharge
You can periodically use basic abilities while they are on cooldown.

His abilities have brief minimum cooldowns between casts. While an ability is on cooldown, after the minimum cooldown, and this ability is off cooldown, the icon for the ability is highlighted in an electric blue glow to signify you can cast it using this trait.


Rakanishu uses energy. His maximum energy is 100. After not spending any energy for more than 4 seconds, he begins regenerating 25 energy per second.

CD: 12 seconds.

Primary Abilities

Thunder Strike
Rakanishu leaps into the air, becoming unstoppable for 0.5 seconds. He can move while in the air, but his facing angle is fixed upon casting the ability. After landing, he deals 194+4% damage in a 2.25 range, 70 degree angle cone, slowing enemies hit by 50% for 1.25 seconds.

Charge CD: 0.5 seconds (begins after channel ends)

Lightning Dash
Rakanishu instantly blinks with 2 range, dealing 158+4% damage to enemies he passes through. After dashing, Rakanishu moves 20% faster for 4 seconds, stacking twice.

CD: 10 seconds
Charge CD: 0.25 seconds
Cost: 30 energy

Charged Enchantment
Rakanishu gains a 108+4% point shield for 3 seconds.

If the shield is destroyed before it expires, three bolts of lightning each strike a nearby enemy within 4 range, dealing 68+4% damage, and stunning for 0.25 seconds. The bolts of lightning prioritize heroes.

CD: 12 seconds
Charge CD: 1 second (begins after shield ends)
Cost: 50 energy

Heroic Abilities

Perfect Storm
ACTIVE: Use Vector targeting to determine a direction; clockwise or counterclockwise. Channel to deal 384+4% damage to all enemies, as well as spin them 180 degrees around Rakanishu over 1 second (ticks every 0.125 seconds). The storm has a radius of 2.5 units. Enemies in the storm are pushed 180 degrees in the chosen direction around Rakanishu over the duration of the channel. This movement uses conveyor belt physics; it does not stun / daze enemies, and can be resisted with movement.

You are unstoppable during the channel, and cannot cancel this ability.

PASSIVE:Gain a charge every time an ability hits at least one hero. At 3 charges, Rakanishu's next basic attack deals 134+4% bonus damage, and reduces the CD of this ability by 10 seconds.

Energy Drain
For 6 seconds, enemies in a 4 range area around Rakanishu are slowed by 25% and deal 25% reduced damage. For every enemy hero in the radius each second, Rakanishu gains 10 energy and reduces the CD of Overcharge by 1 second.

Talents

Level 1:

Ozone Layering: Rakanishu gains 5 maximum energy. While at 5 or less energy, Rakanishu gains 40 armor.

Energy Mastery: Regeneration Globes grant +1 maximum energy, to a maximum of 30. After collecting 30 regen globes, gain another 20 energy.

Surplus Charge: While Overcharge is off cooldown, Rakanishu gains 5 energy per second, and deals 28+4% damage per second to all targets in melee range.

Level 4:

Zoop!: Lightning Dash's cooldown is reduced by 1.5 seconds, and its energy cost is reduced by 10.

Stormrider: If you hit at least one hero with lightning dash, you gain 20% attack speed for 4 seconds, stacking twice. If you do not hit any heroes, you do not gain any movement speed.

Empowered Dash: Lightning Dash now channels for 0.25 seconds before casting, but its range and damage are increased by 40%.

Level 7:

Lightning Blade: ACTIVE: For 5 seconds, your basic attacks are twice as fast but deal 30% less damage. Each attack also consumes 3 energy. These bonuses stack multiplicatively. CD: 30 seconds.

Rolling Thunder: Thunder Crash's arc is now 30 degrees and its base damage is reduced by 60%, but it strikes three times over 0.3 seconds. The second and third strike gain 30 and 60% bonus range, respectively.

Cloudburst: When your Charged Enchanment shield is destroyed, reduce the cooldown of Overcharge by 6 seconds.

Fallen Zeal: When Overcharge is off cooldown, heal for 2.5% of your maximum health per second.

Recharge: When Charged Enchantment expires or breaks, gain a 202+4% shield that lasts 3 seconds.

Blur: You take 30% less damage from enemies that have been slowed by Thunder Strike

Level 16:

Fury of the Fallen: While above 40% health, you take 10% additional damage from all sources. While at or below 40% health, all damage you deal and healing/shielding you receive is increased by 30%.

Triple Dash: Lightning Dash now has two charges. It only activates Overcharge if both charges were used.

Charged Blast: Charged Enchantment deals 150% more damage, and stuns for 0.5 seconds.

Level 20:

Vortex: Perfect Storm now lasts for 2.5 seconds, and you can cancel it. After 1 second of channeling, it deals 50% less damage.

Constant Drain: Energy Drain's cooldown is reduced by 30 seconds. While it is off cooldown, enemies in a 2 range area around Rakanishu are slowed by 10% and deal 10% less damage. For every enemy hero in the radius each second, Rakanishu gains 5 energy and reduces the CD of Overcharge by 0.5 seconds.

Overcharge Mastery: Overcharge's cooldown is now 16 seconds, but it holds two charges. If you took Fallen Zeal at level 16, you are healed for 1.25% of your maximum HP per second per charge you have instead.

Ascension: QUEST: Every second you remain alive, your maximum hit points are increased by 5, to a maximum of 1000. Quest progress is not lost on death.
REWARD: Fallen Zeal and Fury of the Fallen are renamed to Ascended Zeal and Fury of the Ascended. Also, Rakanishu becomes taller and has lightning-y wings. No other change.
