Lord of the Fallen

(Melee Specialist) An unconventional assassin that starts out weak, but gains in strength the more he carves opponents.

A serious concept for a somewhat jokish hero, any Diablo 2 fans will remember the war cries of many a fallen, ushering this name. Unlike his brethren, however, he does not shy away from a fight, in spite of his fragility. The basis for his trait was inspired by Slark with references all over to his enchantments as a D2 mob, but it gives him an identity as a sort of melee Nazeebo, focusing more on being a combo assassin in the late game. His basic abilities take a small amount from Shaco, emphasizing how his kind tend to "prefer to attack under the guise of darkness," making him a pseudo-stealthed assassin in combat, but with more on the side of trickery to enable his burst. I even included the charm affect from the original Rakanishu's Blade. His heroics should be apparent to D2 veterans, but Bishibosh is another prominent war cry, with the Cairn Stones being Rakanishu's location in the actual game. His trait quests serve as the framework for his scaling, while giving a nod to D2's difficulty levels and the growing strength they give to enemies, in many different ways.

Combat Trait

Super Unique Carver
Rakanishu's basic attacks deal an additional 25 spell damage, and if attacking a hero, his maximum health increases by 5, up to 750. Additionally, when receiving physical damage, he radiates 3 bolts of lightning that deal 25 spell damage to enemies they come in contact with, on a 1 second internal cooldown.

Nightmare Difficulty
!Quest: Gain 325 bonus maximum health.

Reward: Gain 50% spell power, 10% movement speed, and you spawn 3 additional lightning bolts from your trait. Unlocks Hell Difficulty quest at level 10.

Hell Difficulty
!Quest: Gain 750 bonus maximum health and 5 takedowns after completing Nightmare Difficulty.

Reward: Gain 50% more spell power, 10% movement speed, and your basic attacks slow targets by 30% for 3 seconds.

Hellish Scout (lvl20 talent)
!Quest: Complete Hell Difficulty.

Reward: Gain a torch in your offhand, increasing your vision radius by 2, and your basic attacks now deal spell damage.

Hellish Soldier (lvl20 talent)
!Quest: Complete Hell Difficulty.

Reward: Gain a buckler in your offhand, increasing physical armor by 20, and you are healed for 65% of spell damage dealt.

Charged Bolt (lvl4 talent)
Mana Cost: 20
Cooldown: 4 seconds
Your trait becomes activateable, instantly unleashing a wave of lightning bolts traveling 50% faster and dealing 50% more damage.

Fresher Meat (lvl13 talent)
Whenever you gain or would gain maximum health from your trait, heal for 55 health, and last hits on minions increase your maximum health for your trait.

Primary Abilities

Rakanishu's Blade
Mana Cost: 35
Cooldown: 8 seconds
2 charges
Tosses your blade forward in a line, damaging all enemies for 75 and conveying all on-hit effects from your trait.

Passive: Lasts hits on minions with Rakanishu's Blade and basic attacks charm two adjacent minions, instantly gaining experience, health globes, and turning them to your side.

Trickster's Enigma
Mana Cost: 50
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Teleports you to the target location and grants stealth for 4 seconds, converting your next basic attack into spell damage and giving it a 100% damage bonus if dealt from behind the target.

Miniature Terror
Mana Cost: 50
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Instill an odd fear into your target, causing them to take 105 damage and be feared for 1 second. Enemies around you also deal 20% reduced damage for 2.5 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Bishibosh!
Mana Cost: 60
Cooldown: 70 seconds
Calls upon the Super Unique Fallen Shaman Bishibosh for 10 seconds. Bishibosh attacks nearby enemies for 80 spell damage and should you die, he will revive you with a 2 second cast time. Bishibosh has 1000 base health.

Cairn Stones
Mana Cost: 80
Cooldown: 85 seconds
Erects five cairn stones at the target area, given space, with a portal in the center. You and your allies can use this portal to instantly teleport to and from your Hall of Storms. Lasts for 8 seconds.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

-Fallen Demigod does affect illusions and Fallen Warband, giving a build path as more of a traditional specialist
-The 5 takedowns mentioned for Hell Difficulty are not retroactive
-Hellish Scout/Soldier references the offhand items fallen imps would wield
-Rakanishu's Blade does not convey anything from Trickster's Enigma; it does however grant 5 health baseline when hitting heroes, in addition to the spell damage and eventual slow
-The lightning bolts do trigger off of minion attacks and tower/fort/keep shots
-The lightning bolts spread out in a circle around you
-Bishibosh's resurrect is the usual 5.5 cast range
-A twin portal appears at your Hall of Storms while Cairn Stones is active; basically a really long-range Medivh portal
-The cairns do have collision; limits the areas you can place them, but they can block enemies
-Movement speed bonus does not affect mounts
-Last hit triggers do have the usual grace period
-Illusions do convey on-hit effects
-*Added some sample talents related to his trait, most notably two of his lvl20's
-*Reworked trait to be less wordy; baked in attack speed from Nightmare Difficulty, divvied out his movement between both trait quests, added basic attack slow to Hell Difficulty completion with a stronger effect, baked in health regen from Hell Difficulty completion
