Matriarch of the Nerazim

"After Zeratul released Raszagal from the clutch of Kerrigan, her mind fell into oblivion.

How much time has passed, she could not know, until finally her eyes could see again.
She found herself in the Nexus.
A twisted nightmare, forcing her to fight again and again, bringing up against or beside her unknown Heroes, but familiar faces as well..."


Raszagal is designed as a global Support Hero - alternative to Abathur.

I will mostly not suggest Statistics (Health, AA value, Ability Damage and Parameters, etc.) as such numbers should/would be subject to Balancing.
There will be some, but in any case, feel free to imagine any numbers/sizes/etc. you see fit.

Combat Trait

Astral Projection
Raszagal projects a copy of herself anywhere within vision on the battlefield, that releases Energy Pulses every 2 seconds in an area around.
Energy pulses affect ally and enemy Heroes differently, depending on the currently active Abilities.

The Astral Projection cannot perform Basic Attacks.
If the Astral Projection dies, its Cooldown is as long as 25% of Raszagal's current Death timer.

Primary Abilities

Psionic Infusion
Choose an ally minion and imbue it with your psionic energy, partially linking your mind with it.
The chosen minion will gather experience for you, as if you were there.
Lasts until the minion dies.

Psionic Speed (Passive)
Minions on the lane closest to Raszagal's position (not the location of the Astral Projection) have increased Movement speed.

Temporal Sight
Reveal the closest enemy Hero on the battlefield for a short duration.

This Ability does not grant you vision over the area around the revealed Hero, so it does not allow you to use other global Abilities.

Secondary Abilities

Dark Coil
This Ability defines how enemy Heroes will be affected by the Energy Pulses of your Astral Projection.
It can be toggled to either one of 2 effects:
- Deal damage to enemy Heroes with each Energy Pulse.
- Each Energy Pulse Slows enemy Heroes for 2 seconds. (this duration is equal to intervals between Energy Pulses)

Astral Winds
This Ability defines how ally Heroes will be affected by the Energy Pulses of your Astral Projection.
It can be toggled to either one of 2 effects:
- Heal ally Heroes with each Energy Pulse.
- Each Energy Pulse increases Movement Speed of ally Heroes for 2 seconds. (this duration is equal to intervals between Energy Pulses)

Resurgence (Passive)
If an ally Hero within the Energy Pulse area takes fatal damage, your Astral Projection will be automatically sacrificed, in order to protect the Hero.
The protected Hero will be healed for an amount equal to the current HP of the Projection.

Heroic Abilities

Khaydarin Focus
Focus the Energy pulses of your Astral Projection through a Khaydarin Crystal, changing its shape into a beam in front of the Projection for a short duration.
The beam has a range 3 times longer than the radius of your Energy Pulse aura, and its effectiveness is increased by 200%.
You cannot use your other Abilities while channeling.

Your Astral Projection is Unstoppable while channeling the beam, but cannot move.
The beam follows the direction of your mouse.

Maelstrom
Release a massive surge of mental energy from your Astral Projection, that deals damage to enemy Heroes within your Energy Pulse area, and Stuns them.

Teleport anywhere within vision on the battlefield.

Level 1 Talents

- Trait - Psionic Bond
Quest: Affect Heroes with Energy Pulses from your Astral Projection a total of 600 times.
Reward: Increase the radius of your Energy Pulse area

- Q (Raszagal) - Psingularity - The chosen minion receives 75% Armor.

- Q (Raszagal) - Psinergy - The chosen minion and all other ally minions around it receive 25% Armor.

Level 4 Talents

- Q (Raszagal) - Void Infusion - The chosen minion radiates an aura, that damages all enemies in range.

- W (Trait) - Soul Absorption - Enemy minions that die close to your Astral Projection, increase the Astral Winds healing of your next Energy Pulse.

- W (Raszagal) - Psionic Agility - Minions on the lane closest to Raszagal's position have increased Basic Attack speed as well.

Level 7 Talents

- W (Raszagal) - Psionic Rush - Activate Psionic Speed to instantly spawn a wave of Minions on the lane closest to Raszagal's position.

- E (Trait) - Worthy Sacrifice - The protected Hero is always healed for the maximum health of the Astral Projection.

- E (Trait) - Void Shroud - The protected Hero becomes Unstoppable for a short duration, and can pass through Heroes and Structures.

Level 10 Talents

- R - Khaydarin Focus - (see "HEROIC ABILITIES" above)

- R - Maelstrom - (see "HEROIC ABILITIES" above)

Level 13 Talents

- Q (Trait) - Feedback - If your Dark Coil is currently toggled to damage enemy Heroes, it will also return Percentage (%) of Spell damage dealt to ally Heroes within your Energy Pulse area, back at enemy Heroes within your Energy Pulse area.

- E (Trait) - Hallucination - After the Astral Projection dies, it remains on the battlefield for a short duration.
It cannot use/toggle Abilities during this time, but it continues to release Energy Pulses.

- E (Raszagal) - Precognition - Increase the duration of the reveal effect.
The area within the revealed Her's vision radius is also revealed.

Level 16 Talents

- Q (Trait) - Chaotic Torrent - If your Dark Coil is currently toggled to Slow enemy Heroes, it will also reduce their Armor with each Energy Pulse.

- W (Trait) - Plasma Surge - If your Astral Winds Ability is currently toggled to heal ally Heroes, all ally Heroes that are at full health will receive a Shield for a short duration.

- Trait - Void Projection - Your Astral Projection gains maximum health each second, as long as it remains alive. This bonus is reset, if it dies. (similar to Rexxar's Animal Husbandry)

Level 20 Talents

- R - Power Overwhelming - The beam can be channeled indefinitely, and its range is further increased by 100%. (range becomes 6 times longer than the radius of your Energy Pulses aura)

- R - Khaydarin Focus - In addition to Maelstrom, gain access to basic Khaydarin Focus, which is located on Trait button (D).
Maelstrom's effect is also modified, while this is active.

- Q (Raszagal) - Astral Infusion - The chosen minion becomes an imperfect copy of your Astral projection. It is weaker in general, and instead of only Heroes it affects only minions.
It channels Dark Coil that damages enemy minions and Astral Winds that increase the Movement Speed of ally minions.
The chosen minion is not affected by Astral Projection Talents, but it keeps the bonuses from Psionic Infusion Talents.

- Active - Void Blast - Your Astral Projection gains the Ability to fire a slow-moving missile, that damages and Stuns for a moderate/long duration the first enemy Hero hit.
