Raszagal

Matriarch of the Dark Templar

Raszagal was the Matriarch of the Dark Templar until the Brood War. She was one of the most powerful psychics in the galaxy. She was renowned for her stoicism and calmness.

Combat Trait

Commandant Cloak
Raszagal enters stealthed state when she stays stationary for at least 3 seconds, and after additional 1.5 seconds she becomes invisible. Raszagal breaks her stealth when she moves, basic attacks or is attacked but not when she uses ability.

Raszagal commands a corsair to bomb a place (range 9) rapidly, after 1 second, deal 50 area damage with range 2 along the vector targeting for 6 times in 0.5s interval. Enemies in range 1 center area take 200% damage. Structures and vehicles take 200% damage.

Target a circular area with range 9 and radius 3, after 1 second deal 65 damage and blind all enemy units in it for 3 seconds.

Razsagal gains 35 physical armor for 4 seconds. If she has less than 40% health, gain 75 physical armor instead.

[E2] - Blessing of Nerazim
Instantly grants 240 shield to self and all allied units in range 4 around her for 4 seconds. Additionally, any allied unit coming into this range in 4 seconds are also granted this shield amount.

Deal 40 damage per second to enemy units around her (range 3) for 4 seconds, damage increases by 10% for each second enemy stays in range.

Psionic Flare
Unleash a psionic surge that travels in a straight line for range 8, dealing 100 damage to enemy in the way. Damaging enemy hero reveal them and cause them to provide range 4 vision around them for her team for 4 seconds.

Can only be unlocked via Tier 3 telent.

Target a rectangular area with vector targeting at range 9. After channeling for 1.5s, impose a psionic field on the selected area that reduces damage of enemy units and structures with an increasing rate of 15%/s, up to 80%. This ability can be channeled as long as Razsagal has mana.

Psionic Brace
Target a circular area with radius 4 and range 9. Razsagal channels for 1 second and remains channeled for 8 seconds. During the latter period, she can control the area with the cursor, it moves at 80% movement speed. The circular area grants 20% spell power times number of hero for each hero inside, regardless of which team ze is in. Can press R to cancel prematurely.

Reward:
After damaging 10 times, dealing damage to same target deals additional 300 damage over 5 seconds
After damaging 20 times, both splash and full damage radius are increased by 0.5
Quelling disturbance (W) - If Disruption Web damages at least 2 heroes, reduce their spell power by 50% for 2 seconds

Perseverance - Non-heroic abilities recharge 20% faster if Raszagal has at least 75% health
Diverged effort (Active) - Channel for up to 8 seconds, can be cancelled by moving. During this time Raszagal loses stealth, 25 armor and all positive armor effect, but her non-heroic abilties recharge 100% faster. 60 seconds cooldown
Attached presense - Staying near a structure for at least 5 seconds makes non-heroic abilities recharge 20% faster

One with nature (R) - Reduce mana cost of Stoicism by 1/s, Raszagal can now move at 35% speed and use Endurance and Blessing of Nerazim
Controlled proliferation (R) - Area of Psionic Brace is increased by 10%/s, up to 40%. Psionic Brace can also channel 4 seconds longer
Tangling Web (W) - Hitting a hero with Disruption web causes another Disruption web to follow him and hit at his point 3 seconds later, dealing 50% damage
Statis Cell (Active) - Reduce Raszagal's health to 40%, but puts her in statis for 1.5 seconds. Cooldown: 20s

Premise

Raszagal is designed to be a supporter who is fragile and not suitable in direct combat. She utilizes abilities with outstanding range to whittle down defenses from hidden locations, and she is unique in keeping her stealth even when using her abilities, in contrast she is vulnerable whenever she moves to new locations.

Her core mechanics revolve around the corsair unit, which is a protoss spacecraft that provides anti-air firepower and suppression against ground units. This is roughly translated to rapid damage against structures and blinding enemy units. While Neutron flare guns are strictly anti-air weapons and are not expected to damage minions in HotS, this would render the guns ineffective in clearing waves. Therefore the damage is instead halved towards non-structural units.

Wisdom of Matriarch {E} is unique in Raszagal can choose 2 abilities out of 4 to pick a suitable role to play. This also dictates how she deals with closing up enemy heroes and minion waves. Mind that she has little form of escape and has to rely on Quelling disturbance (L13 talent) to counter spell mages.
