Introduction
Reno Jackson, a member of the League of Explorers, has always enjoyed the thrill of a good treasure hunt. Once he found out Blackheart’s Bay had Chests filled with Gold, he didn’t need to hear anything else. While Elise ventured the Un’goro Jungle, Reno set out on his own expedition into the Nexus to find what else he can add to his collection of loot. When Sir Finley asks why go out of his way for something as simple as gold, he responds with “We’re Gonna Be Rich!”
Gameplay Description
Reno Jackson loves the attention and importance the role of assassin demands. However, being a member of the League of Explorers taught him to support his allies as well. He not only has fantastic damage, but also has a few supportive tactics that can help your teammates when it matters most.
He uses a Gatling Wand with a very high attack speed for his basic attacks. His abilities consist of a unique arsenal of crowd control and debuffs that can pressure to rethink their strategy.
Combat Trait
1
Draconic Potential
Quest: Gain 1 stack of Gatling Magic every 150 Mana you spend on abilities.
Reno deals 25% more basic attack damage while at 15 or more stacks.
Upon gaining 30 stacks, Reno Jackson transforms into his Dragon Form Renogos, gaining 25% Spell Power. His basic attacks switch from using The Gatling Wand to Arcane Breath; They deal damage to ALL enemies in a 45 degree arc in front of him. Reno’s mount is also disabled, but Renogos has 20% bonus movement speed.
Reno loses 5 stacks when killed, but has no stack maximum.
*Quest starts when minions spawn.
Primary Abilities
1
Crafty Lasso
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Cost: 30 Mana
Range: 10
Reno winds up for 1 second, then throws his lasso in a line. This deals 72.6 damage (+4% per level) and pulls the first enemy hit a small distance toward him. If reactivated in that second, he uses his lasso as a whip instead and pushes the first enemy hit away from him instead.
2
Poof
Cooldown: 14 seconds
Cost: 60 Mana
Range: 5
Radius: 3
After 0.5 seconds, most units in an area disappear for 1.5 seconds, making them unable to interact or be interacted with anything that didn’t also disappear. Players can still see themselves, move, and use abilities. Reno can make enemy Heroes, minions, non-boss Mercenaries, and himself disappear. Players that weren’t hit by Poof can’t see where the disappeared are. Not even Reno knows where they go.
3
Magical Torch
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Cost: 45 Mana
Range: 10
Reno throws a Magical Torch he found in a line that deals 150 (+4% per level) damage to the first enemy Hero hit. Hitting an enemy Hero causes the torch to return to him, refunding half of the cooldown and Mana cost. Hitting a Hero with Magical Torch again within 7 seconds deals 50% more damage. This doesn’t interrupt Reno’s movement.
Secondary Abilities
1
Glyph of Warding
'What Does This Do?' slows enemies Reno attacks by 25% for 3 seconds.
2
Cloak of Invisibility
During 'What Does This Do?', Reno stays Stealthed for the duration.
3
Elixir of Vim
'What Does This Do?' gives Reno 25% movement speed and makes him Unstappable.
4
Band of Scarabs
During 'What Does This Do?', enemies hit by Reno's basic attacks deal 25% reduced damage for 4 seconds.
5
Khadgar's Scrying Orb
During 'What Does This Do?', Reno regenerates 100% of his missing Mana and his basic ability cooldowns recharge 50% faster. Allies Heroes gain half of these bonuses while near Reno.
Heroic Abilities
1
What Does This Do?
Cooldown: 25 seconds
Cost: 60 Mana
Duration: 5 seconds
Reno activates the power of a treasure he found in Uldum to increase his Attack Damage by 50% and gain the ability to move while attacking. But since he doesn’t know what any of his treasures do yet, he picks one at random and hopes for the best. Every time this ability’s duration ends, he picks another treasure to use next time. The side effect depends on which treasure he decides to try out. The Heroic Ability Icon will display the treasure to show what side effect will occur.
(See Secondary Abilities for Treasure Effects)
2
Flex-splosion
Cooldown: 75 seconds
Cost: 60 Mana
Radius: 5
Reno hops on his mount(s) and quickly rushes to a target location. Upon arriving, he flexes so hard that he causes an explosion in an area around him. Nearby minions are instantly killed. Enemy Heroes hit have their Armor, Damage, and received Healing reduced by 50% for 5 seconds. Shields and duration of current temporary buffs are cut in half. If Reno has transformed into Renogos, he can fly over terrain to the target location and apply the explosion from there.
(If Reno has a beast mount equipped, he will ride 2 of those doing a full split in between them. This provides no additional effects, so does he do this? His reason is because he can.)
