Throughout making this concept, I've had many an idea for talents, but not enough to make a full on talent tree (and I quite frankly can not be bothered to try and balance a whole tree of talents of anyhow) but I wanted to put my ideas outthere regardless.
Level 1-7 Talents
Passive: Regeneration orbs grant 50% bonus mana.
Quest: Gather Regeneration orbs.
Reward: After Gathering 10 orbs, Reduce the cost of Arcane Missiles by 15.
After Fathering 20 orbs, Reduce the cost of Arcane Missiles by a further 15 and gain a second charge.
Quest: Silence 15 enemies with CounterSpell
Reward: Each Arcane Missile that damages and enemy Hero reduce the cooldown of CounterSpell by 1 second.
If all 3 Aracane Missiles hit the same enemy, gain 30% movement speed for 3 seconds.
Reduce the cast time of the first 2 Arcane Missiles of a cast by 100%, Increase the cast time of the last missile by 200%, and increase it's damage by 30%. ( a full barrage still takes 100 second, but deals 10% more damage, and 60(ish) percent of the damage fast).
Arcane Missiles reduce their targets movement speed by 10%, staking up to 3 times.
Quest: Stun enemy Heroes with Nether Tempest
Reward: After stunning 5 enemy Heroes, Enemies that enter the Nether Tempest are immediately slowed by 25%.
After stunning 10 enemy Heroes, Increase the radius of Nether Tempest by 25%.
Nether Tempest does 120(+4% per level) damage when stunning an enemy Hero.
Level 13-16 Talents
Arcane Missiles deal damage in a small area around their target, dealing 50% damage.
Counterspell Slows all enemies marked by 40% for 0.5 seconds, increased by 1.5 seconds if it is activated.
Arcane Missiles deal 30% more Damage to movement-impaired enemies.
When an Enemy that Rhonin has recently damaged with Arcane Missiles dies, 1 untalented Arcane Missile Is cast from the location where it died.
Nether Tempest's Duration is increased by 1 Second, and it's cooldown is Reduced by 2 seconds whenever it stuns an enemy.
Active: Channel for up to 3 seconds, firing 3 Arcane Missiles per second. you can't move during this channel. If you complete the channel and all Missiles hit a target, reset this abilities cooldown. Cooldown: 30 seconds.
Level 20 Talents
Temperamental Flux - If an enemy Hero Afflicted with Temporal Flux, Temporal flux is automatically cast on the closest enemy Hero
Has Arrived! - Might of Dalaran pierces all enemy Heroes and Inflicts them with an untalented CounterSpell for 0.5 seconds
Master of the Arcane - Activate your trait to transform your Basic Attacks into a singular untalented Arcane Missile, Costs 30 Mana and removes Rhonin's Melee Attack
Master of the Sword - Rhonin's basic Attacks Slow enemies by 20%, deal 20% more damage, and restore 20 Mana. Removes Rhonin's Ranged Attack. Passive: Arcane Missiles do up to 50% increased damage the closer the target is.
I highly doubt these are very well balanced, some are completely incompatible with each other, and some are just bad. Still, I wanted to brainstorm here a bit, please do post your suggestions for talents, and anything else you think could be improved upon!
