Roadhog (Complete)

The one-man apocalypse

Mako Rutledge aka Roadhog is a high health, medium-melee ranged Warrior who specializes in taking on physical attacks while being able to sustain himself in the field of battle so that supports can focus on others more than on him.

Important note: I know that many will ignore this concept due to that we already have Stitches - but I belive that by making Roadhog unique enough in the way of talents and ways that he can work compared to Stitches, we may one day see him as a standalone hero and not a poor skin which has been the demise of our dear Widowmaker.

Baste stats:


- Base Health: 2582 (+4 %)
- Health regen: 7.05 (+4 %)


- Energy: 500
- Energy regen: 3

- Speed: 4.39

Basic attack:


Roadhog's basic attack consists of scrap-spray from his Scrap Gun. Because of this, Roaadhog's basic attack deals spread damage in a short frontal cone, the closer Roadhogs target is - the more damage the target will absorb and the less damage will be sprayed around which potentially could hit other targets. Structures, minions and mercenaries can block the auto attack spray.

- Base damage: 105 (All of the spray collected on one target) (+4 %)
- Attack speed: 1
- Attack range: 3.5

Combat Trait

D - Hog's Vitality
Passive: Reduce Physical damage taken by 15%

Activate: Become immune to critical hits for 3 seconds and stuns for 1.5 seconds.

Mana: 0
Cooldown: 20 Seconds.

Primary Abilities

Q - Chain Hook
Pull the first enemy hero hit towards you, stunning them for 0.25 seconds and dealing 185 damage.

Mana: 95
Cooldown: 12 Seconds.

W - Take a Breather
Heal for 1000 HP over 1.5 seconds, while channeling this ability - Roadhog temporarily roots himself.

Mana: 35
Cooldown: 16 Seconds.

E - Scrap Shot
Fire a ball of compressed scrap in the chosen path which will deal damage equal to all of the scrap from your basic attack plus 15% to the first target hit.

Mana: 50
Cooldown: 10 Seconds.

Heroic Abilities

R - Whole Hog
Starts a 5 second channel where Roaadhog will deal damage and push back all enemies infront of him. Roadhog can freely move and turn while channeling this ability.

Mana: 95
Cooldown: 90 Seconds.

R - Snatch'n Blast
Select a target which will be hooked toward you. Once close, the target will be stunned for 2 seconds. During these 2 seconds, Roadhog can not move and only turn, after the 2 seconds ends, Roadhog will smash the target for high damage and knock them in the direction Roadhog is facing. As the target is knocked away, all heroes or minions in it's path will not take and damage but will be pushed aside.

Cooldown: 70 Seconds.

Talents

Level 1


- Cheers: Take Breather now heals for the same amount but in 0.8 seconds.

- Taki'n a beati'n: Hog's Vitality now reduces physical damage taken by 25% and it's active effect lasts for 4 seconds.

- Sharpened scrap: Scrap Shot now penetrates and will hit anything hostile in it's path.

- Apocalyptic aim: Quest: Hooking heroes with Chain Hook will grant you 1 stack of Apocalyptic aim. If your hook misses or hooks in anything other than heroes, your stacks will reset.
Reward: After 15 stacks Chain Hook will get a 50% increased travle speed and 2 seconds reduced cooldown. Your stacks can now not drop under 15.
Reward: After 30 stacks Chain Hook will now bypass mercenaries (Not Mercenary bosses and map objective bosses) and minions and can only land on Heroes. Your stacks can now not drop under 30.
Reward: After 45 stacks Chain Hook no longer has a travle path function and will simply hook in your selected target. Your stacks can no longer drop.

Level 4


Undisturbed: Take a Breather makes Roadhog immune to to stuns for it's duration.

Come at me: Roadhog takes 75% reduced damage from minions, mercenaries, mercenary bosses and map event boss units.

Spray it: Scrap Shots ball will now explode at the end of it's path or when it hits a hostile unit, spraying a round of Roadhogs basic attack behind the balls ending point.

Rend and tear: Scrap Shot now slows the attack speed of anyone hit by 25% for 1.25 secons.

Level 7


Chugging skills: Quest: Using Take a Breather within 1 second of taking damage and then channeling it without taking any damage will grant you 1 stack of Chugging skills. Reward: After 20 stacks, gain 1 additional charge of Take a Breather.

Want some: The closest allied hero within 3 range of Roadhog when he is channeling Taking a Breather will be healed for 20% of it's total amount of healing.

Wild presence: Any unit which attacks you while Hog's Vitality is active will have their movement speed slowed by 15% for 0.5 seconds per attack, this effect stacks.

Level 10 (Ultimates - R)


- Whole Hog.

- Snatch'n Blast.


Level 13


- Power Drive: Enemy hero takedowns increases your health by 15% for 7 seconds and heals you for 5% of your total maximum health. This effect stacks.

- Double Barrel: Scrap Shot now holds 2 charges.

- Getting back out there: Taking a Breather now gives Roadhog a shield which will block the three next basic attacks done to him or reduce the damage from the next ability that hits him by 20%. This effect does not stack.

- Power chain: Chain Hook can now pull Mercenary Bosses.

Level 16


- Reloading: Scrap Shots cooldown is reduced by 0.75 seconds for any unit which takes damage from it.

- Reeling inn: Chain Hook can now target the ground and will pull Roadhog to it's marker location if nothing hostile get's hooked.

- Rending Hook: Chain Hook now makes it's target vulnerable, increasing all damage the target takes by 20% for 2 seconds.

- Get over here: Chain Hook can bypass terrain and walls and will pull whatever it hooks trough it as well.

Level 20


- Complete Hog: Whole Hog now works in a 180 degree cone in front of Roadhog, lasts for 2 more seconds and increases increases movement speed by 20% for it's duration.

- Return to sender: Snatch'n Blast will automatically repeat it's effect on the initial hostile target once the target stops after the first knockback, yet now Roadhog can no longer decide where to turn and the target will end up being knocked back the same way it came from.

- The longest pause: Take a Breather will now channel until Roadhog is on maximum health yet for each 0.1 second it remains active past 1.5 seconds will add 0.3 seconds to its cooldown. Bypassing 3 seconds will consume both charges if that's talented.

- Hit and run: Once active, Roadhog can pick up allied heroes for the next 5 seconds with this ability, for each hero he picks up he will be granted a 25% movement speed bonus and once the 5 seconds end, he will be granted another 5 seconds where he can run around with the heroes he picked up. Any hero picked up can still use abilities and basic attacks.

- Deny the Bolt: Chain Hook will automatically refresh it's cooldown and seek out the closest enemy hero which used Bolt of the Storm.

SKIN SUGGESTIONS

Basic Skin

Tint 1: Standard
Tint 2: Purple
Tint 3: Red and White

Master Skin:

The only thing I got here is to type out what I had in mind - I was thinking of a Scrapyard / Junkyard themed skinn. Having Hog entirely covered in metal platings which looks like they are made from salvaged scrap and beefing up his mask a bit.
