Samuro

Blade Master

Blade Master Samuro is a Melee Assassin.
This hero doesn't have Mana, his abilities are cooldown based only.
Samuro's damage is based on weak but very fast Basic Attacks.
His Basic Abilities help him in a team fight, whether it's to escape or survive.
His Heroic Abilities are very powerful and can change an entire battle.

Combat Trait

1
Critical Blade
- Basic Attacks have 15% to land a critical hit, dealing 200% damage.
- Every 3rd Basic Attack against the same target, instead hits with 3 rapid Basic Attacks with 50% damage each.


Possible Talents:
- Each critical hit landed on an enemy hero grants 1 stack of Dodge, evading the next Basic Attack that hits you.
- Each critical hit landed heals you for 50% of its damage.
- Each critical hit landed slows the target for 0.5 seconds.
- Each critical hit landed increase your movement speed for 1 second.
- Quest: Each critical hit landed on an enemy hero increase your attack damage by 0.1.
- Landing a critical hit on a shielded enemy reduces its shield by 50%.
- Landing a critical hit on a rooted / stunned enemy increases the duration by 50%.
- Basic Attacks deal 100% additional damage to mercenaries.
- Each critical hit landed on an enemy hero reduces your abilities' cooldowns by 0.1 seconds.

Primary Abilities

Rapid Dash
Quickly dash to an ally or enemy hero.
If dashed to an enemy hero, also instantly hit it with a Basic Attack.
Cannot be used on an enemy that's already in attack range.


Possible Talents:
- Rapid Dash holds 2 charges.
- Increase your movement speed for 1 second.
- Increase your attack speed for 1 second.
- If targeted on an enemy, slows it for 0.5 seconds.
- Rapid Dash does a small area damage on the target location.
- Can cast Rapid Dash without a target.

Healing Blade
For a few seconds, every Basic Attack you land heals you for 2% of your maximum health


Possible Talents:
- Each critical hit landed while Healing Blade is active slightly increases its duration.
- Quest: Each critical hit landed while Healing Blade is active permanently increases Healing Blade's duration by 0.1 seconds.
- Each critical hit landed while Healing Blade is active heals a nearby ally hero by 2% of its maximum health.

Wind Walk
Become stealth for 2 seconds, increasing your movement speed by 10%.
Your next Basic Attack deals 50% more damage.
Stealth breaks when attacking, using any ability, or getting hit.


Possible Talents:
- Increase Wind Walk's duration by 2 seconds.
- Increase Wind Walk's movement speed bonus to 20%.
- Increase Wind Walk's damage bonus to 200%.
- Each critical hit landed on an enemy hero increases the duration of your next Wind Walk by 0.1 seconds.

Secondary Abilities

Control Clone
Target the clone to attack a certain enemy, or go to a selected location.

Mirror Switch
Swap locations with your clone.
This ability takes 1 second to complete (cannot be interrupted, but still taking damage) and has a visual effect that both teams can see (still without giving away which Samoru is the clone).

Heroic Abilities

Blade Storm
Samoru spins rapidly for a few seconds, damaging all enemies in a large area around him. Each enemy is hit with 2 attacks per second.
During Blade Storm, Samoru is unstoppable and can move at 50% movement speed, but cannot use any other abilities.

Level 20 Talent:
- Critical Blade is now applied to Blade Storm.
OR
- Blade Storm now also slows enemies by 20%.

Mirror Image
Samuro clones himself, creating a clone that will attack enemies (prioritizing heroes).
The clone can only use basic attacks, without any abilities, and with an untalented trait.
To enemies only, the clone looks identical to the real Samuro.
The clone dies only when its health or time limit reach 0.

The clone can be used and controlled with the Secondary Abilities.

Level 20 Talent:
- Creates 2 clones instead of one. Also gain 2 more Secondary Abilities to control the second clone.

Special Mount

Agility
Not a special mount ability, just a mount "skin" that makes Samuro run instead of using a mount.
Similar to Diablo and Azmodan, you can simply choose a regular mount instead, if you want to.

Blade Master Samuro

Blade Master Samuro is a fresh new hero, relying on mobility and utility basic abilities, quick basic attacks, and powerful heroic abilities.
Samuro's playing style is reminiscent of Illidan's and Kharazim's, yet is still very tactical and unique.

Samuro is a hero suited for the skilled player, along with a supportive team.
Play him right and you can conquer a team fight.
Play him wrong and you will find yourself dead in seconds.


Use Rapid Dash to chase and enemy down securing a takedown, flee from a tight situation, or swiftly switch targets in a team fight.

While Healing Blade can help your secure a 1 on 1 battle, it won't save from dying in team fight, so keep an eye on your health bar.

Wind Walk can help you sneak up on an enemy and chase him down, or rather quickly escape from a deadly fight.

Blade Storm will create a large dangerous area that will force your enemies to either run away or take a massive amount of damage over time.
While Blade Storm makes your unstoppable, you are still exposed ti damage and can be taken down quickly, so use with caution.

Mirror Image is where things get serious.
Spread out your clone to better control a fight, or attack the same target to take it down quickly.
Mirror Swap is a great tool to switch positions in battle, or flee from it entirely.


Overall, Blade Master Samuro is a skill based hero.
His low health amount makes him easy to be taken down, but if played correctly he can be a serious problem for the opposing team.
