Sara, Avatar of Yogg-Saron, has come to bring an end to the Nexus. Empowered by Yogg-Saron, Sara has control over the whole battlefield, having the ability to manipulate enemies from afar with Tentacles who do her bidding. Using her global Brain Link and Tentacles who can spread Psychosis, Sara can spread the Old Gods' insanity out of combat, reducing the enemy's armor before a fight even breaks out. In combat, Sara's mortal form struggles a little, but she can still apply plenty of debuffs against foes to claim a victory.
Many of Sara's abilities use Chaos, a scarce resource that Sara generates little by little. To gain more Chaos, Sara needs to complete Rituals that she can choose at Level 1. Obtaining Chaos is key to letting Sara wreak havoc.
But once Sara reaches Level 10, her power grows tremendously. She may either choose to double down on her mental dominance with Malady of the Mind, or she can unleash her true form with Avatar of Yogg-Saron. Beware the latter heroic ability; if Sara is allowed to get to Level 20, perhaps Yogg-Saron himself will join the fight!

Combat Trait

Grasping Insanity
Sara starts with 50 Chaos, and recovers 1 Chaos every 5 seconds.
Sara’s abilities that affect other heroes reduce their Armor by the amount of Chaos they use. These reductions stack, last for 25 seconds, and stacking reductions refreshes their duration. Sara’s reductions cannot be removed at the Hall of Storms. A hero can have as low as -50 Armor.

Active: Summon Tentacle
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Activate this trait to place a summoning circle at a target location. After 1 second, a Tentacle emerges from it. Unlimited Range.

Tentacles have 450 (+4% per level) Health and can't move. When controlled by Sara, Tentacles can attack in an arc for 136 (+4% per level) damage every second, and use a set of new abilities (Secondary Abilities).

Cooldown: 5 seconds
Chaos: 5
Launch an tendril that deals 136 damage (+4% per level) to the first enemy hero it hits, or restores 408 Health (+4% per level) to the first allied hero it hits. Tentacles share this ability.

(How Chaos works: Casting Psychosis costs 5 Chaos, so if Psychosis hits an enemy or allied hero, their Armor is reduced by 5 for 25 seconds, making them take 5% more damage.)

Brain Link
Cooldown: 13 seconds
Chaos: 1 per second
Channel on a hero or allied Tentacle. When channeling on a hero, they deal 25% less damage, and take 34 (+4% per level) damage every .5 seconds. While channeling on a Tentacle, Sara gains control of it, gaining new abilities.

Unlimited Range. Maximum channeling time is based on how close Sara is to the target, up to 5 seconds. Minimum channeling time is 1 second. Can be cancelled early.

Unspeakable Form
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Chaos: 5
Gain 50 Armor and Unstoppable for 2 seconds. Can be cast while channeling.

Lash out at an enemy, dealing 136 (+4% per level) damage to the first enemy hit and grappling them for 2 seconds, stunning them at the Tentacle’s position. The grapple continues even after Sara loses control of the Tentacle. Can be reactivated to release early.

Cooldown: 5 seconds
Burrow to a location in range, dealing 102 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies in your path. Burrowing continues even after Sara loses control of the Tentacle.

After 1.25 seconds, Sara unleashes her true form, a corrupted Val’kyr, for 10 seconds. In this form, Sara gains 375 (+4% per level) extra Health, and wields a Tentacle which she uses for her abilities and Basic Attacks.

Chaos: 5
Deal 240 (+4% per level) damage to an enemy hero in close range and Fear them for 3 seconds. While Feared, Heroes are Silenced and are forced to run away from the caster. Tentacles share this ability.

Reward: After killing 10 minions, gain 10 Chaos.

Psychosis now damages all non-heroic enemies it passes through. If Psychosis hits no heroes, refund 3 Chaos.

He Arrives! - Avatar of Yogg-Saron Upgrade


Avatar of Yogg-Saron now transforms Sara into Yogg-Saron for 10 seconds! Yogg-Saron has 750 (+4% per level) more Health than Sara and wields two Unkillable Tentacles in front of him. You can control one Tentacle at a time and toggle between the two, while the inactive Tentacle Basic Attacks.

Moving Yogg-Saron moves the Tentacles in the same direction, and vice-versa.

Mass Hysteria - Malady of the Mind Upgrade


Malady of the Mind also deals 120 (+4% per level) damage to enemy heroes near the target hero and Fear them for 1.5 seconds. While those heroes are Feared, they are Silenced and are forced to run away from the target hero.

The Underground Empire


Active: Mobilize all allied Tentacles to move down the nearest lane towards the enemy core, Basic Attacking everything in their path. Mobilized Tentacles last for 16 seconds, and move at the speed of a minion.
Passive: Reduce Summon Tentacle cooldown by 10 seconds.
Cooldown: 60 seconds.
