Sha Taran Zhu (Complete Concept)

Evil Lord of the Shado-Pan

Taran Zhu that's consumed by evil, and lost the way of the monk.

Combat Trait

1
Rising Hatred
Passive

Every time you Kill 3 minions you you get 1 Hatred, when get hit with an ability you gain 2 Hatred, and when you get hit by a Heroic Ability you gain a 3 Hatred, but a stack (is 6). Every stack increases Ability Damage by (1%) up to a max of 15% and 1 Basic Attack damage. Max of 15 stacks.

Primary Abilities

Shadow Barrage (Q)
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Mana Cost: 50

Teleport into the enemy and stun them for 0.5 seconds and use your Mace and barrage with incredible speed into the enemy.  Dealing 30 (+5 per level) damage and slowing the target by 50% for .25 seconds. Taran Zhu teleports behind the enemy. 
(Cannot be Canceled,unless you get Great Escape)

Ring of Malice (W)
Cooldown: 1 second
Mana Cost: 30

Toggle to be encircled by a ring of shadows that inflicts 50 (+5 per level) damage every 0.5 sec. to enemies it touches and pulls them closer to you. 

Movement speed reduced by 20%, but every time you get a successful hit you get a shield for 50 (+2 per level) damage.

Sha Blast (E)
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Mana Cost: 70

Inflict 55 (+12 per level) shadow damage and leaving a lingering shadow on the enemy doing 40 damage over 5 seconds and knocks back enemies. 

Heroic Abilities

Shadow Clone (R1)
Cooldown: 100 Seconds
Mana Cost: 75

Create a shadow copy of you increasing movement speed by 20% and attack speed by 25%. Cooldowns are reduced by 1 second every basic attack you get. Control both you and your clone to do massive damage for 15 seconds. Whoever kills your clone gets lingering shadow damage for 150 over 3 seconds or wherever your clone dies it leaves a pool of shadows slowing the enemy(s) by 50%

Gripping Hatred (R2)
Cooldown: 90 Seconds
Mana Cost: 80

Summon a powerful manifestation of hatred near the caster that pulls enemies toward it and poisons the ground beneath it dealing 100 damage over 5 seconds. This Heroic you have to sacrifice all of your stacks of Hatred and send them into your Gripping Hatred. It's AI controlled, dealing 50 (+5 per level) damage and blinding nearby enemies. The Gripping Hatred Basic Attacks do 55 (+3 per level) damage, splash for 20% damage and slowing for 20%. Can reactivate the Ability to re-target the Gripping Hatred. Lasts 35 seconds.

TALENTS


Tier 1 - Level 1:

1. Endure: Periodically increases the damage received from Hero Basic Attacks by 10%. 

2. Shaduken (E): Charge your Sha Blast to increase it's damage up to 3 stages. Each stage increases shadow damage by (+15 per stage) 

3. Repulsion (W): Ring of Malice's range is increased by 22% 

4. Regeneration MasterIncreases Health Regeneration by 4 per second. Every 3 Regeneration Globes gathered increases this bonus by 4 .



Tier 2 - Level 4:

1. Amplified Healing: Increases regeneration effects and all healing received by 30% .

2. KO Barrage (Q): Increase stun of Shadow Barrage (+0.5 seconds) and increase teleport range by 5%

3. Shade (Activate): Leave a  shadow decoy of you that appears to look like to to the other team. Lasts 10 seconds.

4. Life Drain (W): Every 0.5 seconds someone is hit with Shadow Barrage you are healed for 20% of the damage given.

5.  Shadow Technique (Q): Increases the amount of shield gained from Ring of Malice from 50 to 100 (+2 per level)



Tier 3 - Level 7:

1. Follow Through: After using an ability, your next Basic Attack within 6 seconds deals 40% additional damage.

2. First Aid (Activate): Activate to heal 35.49% of your max Health over 6 seconds.

3. Eclipse (Activate): Use a stack of Hatred to deal more damage with Ring of Malice empowered +30 on a stack. 

4. Blitz (Q): Shadow Barrage can now hold 2 charges, but cooldown increases from 8 seconds to 14 seconds.




Tier 4 - Level 10:

1. Shadow Clone

2. Summon Gripping Hatred



Tier 5 - Level 13:

1. Giant Killer: Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes deal bonus damage equal to 1.5% of the Hero's max Health.

2. Spell Shield: Upon taking Ability Damage, reduce that damage and further ability damage by 50% for 2 seconds. Can only trigger once every 30 seconds.

3. Great Escape (Q): You can now cancel Shadow Barrage, and it doesn't have to be targeted. You can now use it as a teleport freely and as a target teleport.

4. For Shado-Pan and Garrosh: Sacrifice 80% of your health to empower of your abilities once. 



Tier 6 - Level 16:

1. Blood for Blood (Activate): steal 15% of target enemy's Max Health and slow its movement by 30% for 3 seconds.

2. Sharyuken (Activate): Uppercut enemy stunning for 1 second.

3. Relentless: Reduces the duration of silences, stuns, slows, roots, and polymorphs against your Hero by 50% .





Tier 7 - Level 20:

1. Bolt of the Storm: Activate to teleport to a nearby location.

2. Haze (Heroic 1): Every ability hit on the enemy team blinds them and basic attacks slow the enemy team for 20%

3. Enclosure (Heroic 2): A shadow bomb attaches to the enemy for 10 seconds and while the Gripping Hatred is active hit the Heroic Button again and it will explode on anyone it attached too.

4. Hardened Shield: Activate to reduce damage taken by 75% for 4 seconds.

Myesh. Pretty much what was said above. This hero concept of Taran Zhu does not reflect his true nature and personality. Sure, he ironically got corrupted by the Sha at one point but is that how we want to remember him? I don't think so. At least I don't.

Plus we already got Chen and I guess Li Li could also be counted as a monk.

This is just plain wrong i get the idea, but honestly i got to say it's pretty obnoxious. Why? Because this beats everything that what his lore is about. He is the leader of the Shado-pan, he fights Sha. He does not embrace it, thus making this a complete nutjob of a hero. It would be like making Garrosh a hero in the game and have him have abilities to the kind of paladins or priests for that matter.

It. Does. Not. Match.

But i'd love to see Taran Zhu in the game though, but he's a monk nothing more different than Chen. So he's NOT going to be in the game. Because it'd be like "here have Chen, right let's make a new character with seemingly similar abilities slap a full price on him and call it a day." Maybe you could build him as a supportive character as in him having the power to draw the evil within you out. As first seen when you land on Pandaria, and by evil i mean harm of some sort.
