Your Hero Description

Combat Trait

Finishing Moves
Shaku can choose a Finishing Move trait at level one. Finishing Moves can only be casted after you use your Q, W and E abilities in a quick session (can be in any order). They also reduce the cooldown of your basic abilities by a second after casting.

Finishing Move

Active: Shaku dashes behind the target enemy hero in 250 range, dealing 231 (+4% per level) damage and +20% damage delayed between 3 seconds.

Kidney Shot
Finishing Move

Active: Shaku roots the target enemy in 175 range for 3 seconds.

Nightblade
Finishing Move

Active: Shaku infects the target enemy in 200 range with shadow energy for 8 seconds. Infected enemies are slowed by 40% for a second after casting and also by damaging them with basic attacks or abilities.

Shuriken Storm
Active: Shaku releases a fan of shurikens in front of him. The fan has 550 conic range and 75 degree cone width, and deals 212 (+3,5% per level) damage to all enemies in range.

Active: Shaku throws a dagger to target enemy in 400 range. The dagger deals 199 (+4% per level) damage to that enemy and also slows it by 40% for 2 seconds if the target is turned back to you.

Active: Shaku chooses an enemy in 475 range. After 0,5 seconds, Shaku enters Stealth for 3 seconds and teleports to back of the target. Afterwards, he also gains 15% movement speed for 3 seconds.

Active: After 0,5 seconds, Shaku knocks back all enemies in 550 circular range to end of the range. Afterwards, he gains Stealth for 8 seconds that can be breaked by using any ability or dealing any damage in any way.

Active: Next Shaku's basic attack will deal 100% more damage. If you used this ability while in Stealth, you can also cast a next Finishing Move redagless of if you used your Q, W and E abilities in a quick session.

[E]Silent Moves - Stealth guaranteed by this ability now cannot be breaked 1,5 seconds after gaining it.

If you ever played as Rogue in WoW, you know that you can play Subtlety Rogue. Shaku's playstyle acts like one. He wants to sneak up for his prey and try to slay it in a single combo. They also have Finishing Moves to finish opponents or maybe also retreat. Shaku definitely has it all.

When you play him, he's like a little Illidan. Your goal is to smash buttons on your keyboard to successfully damage your foe. If you're lucky enough, you can just go ham. But then, you have Finnishing Moves that allow you to retreat if neccesary. Well, you will still usually use them to maximilize your damage output. Kidney Shot and Nightblade do that very well.

Playing as Shaku is not that easy. Whereas you have your ways to sneak up to your opponent, you will struggle against prepared enemies as they can shut down your chances to do your E+W+Q combo and, especially, your chances to activate your key to safety, which is any Finishing Move you've chosen. You might sometimes need to pretty much sacrifice your much higher damage output (Shadow Strike) for more safety once again (Smoke Bomb). But don't worry, if you've chosen a lvl 20 talent for Smoke Bomb, you can still deal decent damage to enemies.
