Shandris Feathermoon

General of the Sentinel Army

Combat Trait

1
Trap
Shandris picks her trait at level one, choosing from one of four traps. Traps are set on ground from medium range, are cast instantly but have a 1-1.5 second set-up time before they are in effect, providing small vision and triggering when enemy hero walks over it. Only 1 trap may be active at a time, but the cooldown starts when she casts it.
Cooldown: 20 seconds

Primary Abilities

1
Powershot
Cooldown: 14 seconds
Mana Cost: 70 mana

Shandris starts channeling a powerful shot for up to 2 seconds, increasing its range and damage, reaching the peak after one second, hitting the first enemy hit unless channeled for the full duration. It deals up to 130(+28 per level) damage, starts at half of that.

Notes: The range starts at Valla's unupgraded Hungering Arrow and ends at Falstad's upgraded Hammerang. Width is similar. If she channels for the full duration it hits all enemies in line.
2
Explosive Disengage
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Mana Cost: 50 mana

Shandris shoots an arrow that explodes directly in front of her dealing 60 (+10 per level) damage in a cone, slowing them by 30% for 2 seconds and leaping in the opposite direction

Notes: The length of the jump is the same as Valla's Vault but it works like a jump, meaning she can use it to cross walls
3
Wyvern Sting
Cooldown: 22 seconds
Mana Cost: 80 mana

Shandra shoots a poisoned arrow at a targeted enemy, sleeping them for 6 seconds. Any damage done will break the stun.

Heroic Abilities

1
Rapid Fire
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Mana Cost: 100 mana

Shandra for the next 6 seconds attacks 30% faster, gains 30% increased range on her auto attacks and can move unhindered while attacking.

Notes: Basically you can right-click an enemy and move while still focusing down that enemy. If the target is out of range she switches to the nearest enemy, prioritizing heroes(can be switched of course)
2
Barrage
Cooldown: 80 seconds
Mana Cost: 100 mana

Shandra stands in one spot and starts spraying arrows in front of her with lightning speed for 2 seconds doing 90(+5 per level) damage every 0.5 seconds in a large cone area in front of her.

Notes: The area is slightly bigger than Valla's Multishot with the range talent

Talents

Level 1(her trait):

Freezing trap: a trap that freezes the first enemy that approaches for 1.5 seconds, rooting them in place

Frost trap: on approach freezes the ground around for 4 seconds slowing any enemy in the area by 40%

Explosive trap: explodes, dealing 70(+16 per level) damage in a small AoE and setting fire to the ground around(larger than the explosion) it for 4 seconds dealing 25(+6 per level) damage per second

Snake trap: a trap that, when triggered, releases 4 untargettable snakes for 4 seconds, attacking the hero that activated it, dealing 2(+1 per level) damage and applying a stacking poison doing 4(+2 per level) damage per second

Level 4:

Vampiric Assault: Basic Attacks heal for 15% of the damage dealt to the primary target

Gathering Power: Passively grant 5% Ability Power. Each Hero takedown increases this bonus by 2% to a maximum of 15%. This bonus Ability Power is rest to 5% on death.

Focusing Shot: When Powershot is channeled to its full duration, the first target hit takes 25% increased damage from it

Tactical Disengage: The cooldown of Explosive Disengage is reduced by 1.5 seconds for each Hero hit and 0.5 seconds by each minion hit.

Level 7:

Searing Attacks: Activate to increase Basic Attack damage by 50% for 5 seconds. Each attack costs 15 mana.

Battle Momentum: Basic Attacks reduce Ability cooldowns by 0.5 seconds

Big Boom: The range on both the damagin cone and the escape is increased by 33%

Wyvern Sting: Now slows the enemy by up to 60% for 4 seconds after the sleep is gone, increasing over time by 10%

Level 13:
Giant Killer: Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes deal bonus damage equal to 1.5% of the Hero's maximum Health.

Feign Death: Shandris pretends to be dead, becoming immune to damage while being unable to move for up to 3 seconds. During this time enemies can't see your health bar. Can be cancelled at any time(fancy ice block)

Double Trouble: Shandris can now have 2 traps up at the same time.

Spell Shield: Upon taking Ability Damage, reduce that damage and further Ability Damage by 50% for 3 seconds. Can only trigger once every 30 seconds.

Level 16:

Longshot: Powershot's range is increased by 33% during the last second of her channel

Executioner: Basic Attacks deal 40% more damage against slowed, rooted, or stunned targets.

Trap Launcher: The range in which Shandris can cast her traps is doubled

Overdrive: Activate to increase Ability Power by 25% and Mana costs by 40% for 5 seconds.

Level 20:

Quick Feet: The duration is increased by 2 seconds, Shandris now gains 20% movement speed for the duration and is immune to roots.

Aimed Barrage: Shandris' Barrage now follows your mouse cursor instead of being stationary and the duration is increased by 1 second.

Rewind: Activate to reset the cooldowns of your Basic Abilities.

Nexus Frenzy: Increases Attack Speed by 20% and Attack Range by 20%

Additional Notes

Seeing as we don't really have a pure hunter from WoW I thought it'd be a good idea to think of one, but apart from the existing ones I didn't see any obvious candidates(with a bow at least).
What I basically want her to be is something similar to Falstad, a mobile assassin who can specialize in either auto attacks or abilities but with some unique utility and higher skill cap. I don't think the talents are there yet since it's 4 in the morning and I just can't sleep so I decided to write this(what's wrong with me?) so any criticism is appreciated.
Basically I just wanted to play around with a pure hunter idea and by looking at their skillset I think there's ample chance to have way more than 1. I'd love to see a hunter with a pet with similar trait choice(ripped off Monk here ; p) and focusing on that, but was also wondering if it's worth it to add pets as one of the heroic abilities. What do you guys think?
