Sir Thomas Thomson

The Headless Horseman

Once a member of the Silver Hand turned Scarlet Crusader, Thomas Thomson murdered his own family in service against the Undead Scourge.  Tormented, he slew his own comrades in arms until he himself was beheaded.  The twisted magic of Balnazzar raised him as a Death Knight, cursed to torment the denizens of Azeroth only but once a year... a dark time known as Hallow's End.

It is unknown what kind of twisted fate the nexus has in store by summoning this curious abomination.

(Horseman's body cannot use any abilities or attack while headless but is immune to all damage and spell effects.)

(Only one shrine can be active at one time, and trait cannot be used if an active shrine exists.)

(If horseman dies without an active shrine, or 10 seconds expends he goes to a respawn timer as any other hero)

The idea was to require a little more thought in when and where it can be placed, and to differentiate it from Murky's egg. My main concern was someone plopping it down constantly, and always having it close by. However, I did write that part before I added the 10 second time limit on the retrieval, so it's possible a long cool down could work.

Allow me sometime to ruminate on it further before I adjust it.

"trait cannot be used if an active shrine exists."

Why? Wouldn't it be better to just put a 20~ sec cooldown on the trait?
