LEVEL ONE TALENTS
Hack the Planet
? Quest: Hack 15 enemy heroes without dying.
? Reward: Enemy heroes remain hacked for 4 seconds instead of 3.
Surprise Shots
? Quest: Breaking stealth early by making a basic attack on an enemy hero grants you 0.5 attack damage, up to 15.
? Reward: Upon gaining 15 bonus attack damage, you can also activate Surprise Shots while stealthed (does not break stealth) to increase the damage of your next basic attack by an additional 150%. 60 second cooldown.
Multiphase Camo
When you activate Thermoptic Camo, you enter stealth instantly and you are Unrevealable for 1 second. While stealthed, you can travel through structures and units.
LEVEL FOUR TALENTS
Blackmail and Bribery
Every 1 second that an enemy hero spends revealed by Opportunist grants Sombra a stack of Bribe. Sombra can use 30 stacks to instantly defeat a Mercenary. Does not work on Bosses. If a camp is defeated entirely with her Bribes, the Mercenaries gain 50% attack speed for 30 seconds. Maximum 120 stacks.
Endothermoptic Camo
The duration of Thermoptic Camo does not count down while Sombra is standing still. Every 2 seconds spent in stealth restores 30 mana to Sombra.
Squishing a Bug
Activate this ability to instantly kill target minion. If the minion would drop a regeneration globe, it instead drops a hacked globe. 10-second cooldown.
LEVEL SEVEN TALENTS
Feeling Much Better
Hacked globes also grant shielding equal to the amount of healing it grants. These shields expire after 6 seconds.
What's Yours is Mine
When a nearby ally or nearby hacked enemy hero receives healing, Sombra also gains healing equal to half that amount.
Transfer Speed
After teleporting, Sombra's movement speed is increased by 60% for 6 seconds. If Sombra collects a hacked globe during this time, she and her allies receives 50% more health and mana from it.
LEVEL THIRTEEN TALENTS
Satellite Downlink
Places a Scouting Drone at target location, granting vision and revealing a large area around it for 15 seconds. While Sombra is within range of the Scouting Drone, all enemies below 50% health are revealed through the fog of war, regardless of distance. This drone can be killed by enemies with 2 basic attacks. 60 second cooldown. Stores up to 2 charges.
Back Door
Activate this ability to teleport to the last location the translocator was placed. 120-second cooldown.
Sombra Online
? Repeatable Quest: When you Hack an enemy hero, the duration of your current translocator extends for 6 seconds.
? Reward: After extending your translocator uptime by a total of 30 seconds, your translocator duration is permanently increased by 3 seconds.
LEVEL SIXTEEN TALENTS
White Hat
Sombra can now Hack her allied heroes, increasing the target's spell armor by 50 for the duration of the hack, reducing damage taken from abilities by 50%.
Jailbreak
Hacked enemy heroes are rooted for the last 1.5 seconds of the hack.
Firewall
Every 15 seconds, gain 35 Spell Armor against the next enemy Ability and subsequent Abilities for 1.5 seconds, reducing the damage taken by 35%. After the damage reduction effect ends, Sombra deals damage to nearby enemies over the next 4.5 seconds, equal to the total damage prevented by this effect. Can be toggled to allow or prevent this talent from triggering automatically.
LEVEL TWENTY TALENTS
Power Outage
Enemy heroes are hacked for twice the duration if hacked by EMP.
Cybernetic Graft
Sombra's basic attacks against hacked enemy heroes reduce the cooldown of her Hack ability by 1 second.
Teleboop
Activate to immediately teleport to a target location, dropping a translocator at your previous location. If you teleport into an enemy hero or globe, that hero or globe is instantly hacked.
second off globes are not enough to sustain a team, even if you make them global which by itself again, doesnt make sense. it doesnt fit the character and its hamfisted to justify being a support. Her kit has nothing of a support besides hacking health globes which is just an perk for allies not the focal point of her design. her entire kit is flanking and infiltrating and disabling.
lastly, i dont think people realize how worthless sombras trait would be in heroes of the storm in a direct port. Its only useful in OW because there is frequent LoS and multi level dimensions and theres no towers/structures to protect people. Its literally less useful than lunaras/tracers level 1 talent that reveal enemies upon basic attacks because it has the stipulation that they must be low health which 9/10 if someone is low health and they havent backed to safety, the reveal is worthless anyway, as they would die regardless
You dont want a trait that is worse than level 1 talents.
RE: Sombra's trait
I definitely agree that it's weaker in a MOBA when directly ported, but since the Overwatch heroes typically have as faithful a kit as possible, what would you think improves the reveal-based trait? Making the threshold of reveal below 100%? Making it global range?
RE: Globes sustaining a team
You're right that she can't be a teamfight healer off of globes, but she's not supposed to be. This incarnation of Sombra was supposed to be sustain for attrition/macro compositions for certain maps, but I will agree that she needs more healing throughput off of hacked globes.
RE: Why support?
I'm not a fan of the specialist role because of how murky its definition is, and sticking her into the assassin role is completely mindless. Despite being mislabeled as an offense hero in Overwatch, Sombra is currently being used in pro matches when teams are on defense because her health pack respawn is incredibly potent. She flanks/infiltrates to disable more than kill. I'd rather try to approximate her support potential in HotS, but it's hard to do when there are no neutral health pack spawns, which is why I'm trying to mess around with globes.
If Zenyatta had great kill potential, I could see him being an assassin. But while he has great damage, he has mobility limitations that make it hard for him to be a threat outside of duels, which is why his main role should stay as support.
I do honestly think that in HotS, the best current descriptor of my Sombra implementation *is* specialist, but I'd like to try her as a support first.
