Spellblade Aluriel

The First Spellblade

Aluriel always had an affinity for magic. She rose through the ranks of the Nightguard effortlessly, having a natural talent with the sword. But no matter how strong she became, she wanted more. She studied with the mages at the University of Suramar, spending her days in combat training and her evenings in the artificery. She forged her weapons and armor in the Nightwell, weaving magic spells into the precious metals. She is the first Spellblade, adept in the schools of Fire, Frost and Arcane.

Combat Trait

Annihilate
When actived, Aluriel's next attack will proc Annihalte. She will flurry her weapon in a frontal cone dealing damage to any enemy withing the cone, for 3 seconds.

Aluriel can move during Annihilate. Enemies standing in Annihilate for 1 second are marked.

Primary Abilities

Mark
Send a magical image forth that marks the first hero it hits. The image will damage non-hero units, but will not mark them.

Detonate
Detonates the marks that are active and in range. The effect of Detonate depends on the type of enchantment chosen. When a mark is detonated, it is consumed and has to be reapplied.

Arcane - The mark explodes, dealing damage, creating a small arcane orb beneath the detonated target. The arcane orb pulses every 0,5 seconds, dealing damage.

Fire - The mark explodes, dealing half of the damage in an instant and the other half in damage over time. The detonated marks leaves a pool of fire beneath the detonated target. When enemies stand in the fire they take ticking damage and increases the damage over time from Detonate.

Frost - The mark explodes, dealing damage. Creating a slowing field with light ticking damage underneath the detonated mark.

Replicate
Aluriel infuses an enemy with volatile magic and marks the target. After a short delay the volatile magic explodes around the target, marking every enemy hit.

Heroic Abilities

Animate
Animates the detonated marks on the ground, creating elementals. These last for 10 seconds.
Arcane elemental - Deals pulsing area of effect damage in a big aoe every second.
Fire elemental - Casts firebal every 0,5 seconds dealing damage to an enemy.
Frost elemental - Creates a cirle of winter around them, slowing and dealing damage to any enemy withing the cirlce.

Fel Soul
Aluriel releases her fel soul to a targeted location. The fel soul will blade dance (spin) to the targeted area, dealing damage to any enemy withing its path. After the fel soul reaches its destination it stomps the ground dealing damage and leaving a pool of fel fire. After this, the soul will return to Aluriel. When it reaches Aluriel, it will damage the area around Aluriel and will leave a pool of fel fire underneath Aluriel.

Level 1 talents

Arcane enchantment - Makes Aluriel's spells arcane themed. Makes her playstyle more bursty.
Fire enchantment - Makes Aluriel's spells fire themed.Makes her playstyle involve damage over time.
Frost enchantment - Makes Aluriel's spells frost themed. Makes her playstyle involve zone control and soft cc.

Level 4 talents

One after the other - Mark will now go through heroes and can mark multiple.
Replicate mark - Mark now has 2 charges and less cooldown.
Nightwell enchanted blade - After 4 continuous auto attacks, enemies are marked.
Sucker Punch - Annihilate now slows for 5% for every tick of damage.

Level 7 talents

Detonate defenses - Enemies affected by detonate receive 10% more damage for 3 seconds.
Risks are fun - Replicate becomes more volatile, increasing the aoe by 20 percent.
Rending strikes - Any heroes standing in Annihilate receive damage over time. This damage increases the longer enemies were affected by Annihilate.
After shocks - Every tick of Detonate's AoE component will do increasing damage to a max of 35% increased damage. Each tick increasing the damage by 7%.

Level 13 talents

Detonated from within - Detonate, and its Area of Effect damage, will do double damage against shields.
Slipping up - Enemies targeted by Replicate get an increasing slow untill Replicate expires.
The Burden of Magic - Enemies standing in Detonate's Area of Effect receive 50% less healing.
Nightwell enchanted armour - When Annihilate is active, get 40% spell armour.

Level 16 talents

A stunning display - Detonate now stuns enemies for 0,3 seconds.
Getting riled up - Mark now knocks up enemies for 0,35 seconds.
Volatiler magic - Replicate, after expiring, will now mark and detonate the targetted enemy, while also reapplying Mark.
Spellblade's mastery - Pull the AoE component of Detonate, that are in range of Aluriel, to a targetted location. 45 second cooldown.

Level 20 talents

The bigger, the better - Animate minions gain bonuses depending on what enchantment was chosen.
Frost: AoE increased, slow now increases the longer enemies are in the AoE.
Arcane: AoE increased, deals 20% more damage
Fire: Range increased by 100%, deals 25% more damage to targets afflicted with Detonate's Damage overtime component.

Plenty of me - Fel Soul now keeps spinning, even after returning and now returns twice to Aluriel. Meaning the the damage component and AoE component will proc twice.
Two marks and out - Marked enemies can now be marked twice, making detonate deal 50% more damage to them and dropping a bigger AoE component.
True mistress of the blade - Annihilate gives Aluriel movement speed and attack speed after Annihilate is finished. Auto attacks and spells reduce the cooldown of Annihilate.
