SAVIOR OF THE TEMPLAR

A Multiclass (Support/Assassin) Tassadar rework that turns Force Wall into Force Field, giving him an extra Basic Ability and a new Heroic Ability.

Most notable changes

  • Force Field, similar to a small-area Force Wall, is exactly the Sentry ability from SC2. It has an instant cast time and no delay between charges, so you can spam the charges to create a mini-wall. Force Field is approximately 1/3 the width of Force Wall, or one Azmodan in size.
  • Plasma Shield shield amount is reduced by 20%, but a reduced version of Leeching Plasma is made baseline.
  • Archon damage increased by 20%, and Level 20 talent adds percent-based damage instead of extra range.
  • Conjurer's Pursuit and Psi-Infusion, the Level 1 mana talents, are merged. The quest reward is now Psi Storm damage instead of maximum mana, since you won't need it with all the Psi-Storm return + regen.
  • Generic Active abilities Healing Ward, Promote, Mule, Shrink Ray, Rewind all removed. Storm Shield remains.
  • Distortion Beam now increases attack speed instead of slowing, to better match the visual effect.
  • New Heroic Ability, Hallucination, basically gives an ally Dimensional Shift and leaves a low damage copy in their place. The Hallucination will Basic Attack, but not cast spells. It can be revealed by the enemy team, but until/unless it is, it looks the same as the copied Hero. This is meant to be the "Support Heroic".
  • To fit the Multiclass archetype better, both Heroic Abilities have penalties that hurt Tassadar's ability to perform in both roles simultaneously.

Grant a Shield that absorbs 284.54 (+4% per level) damage over 5 seconds. The Shield is 50% stronger when cast on another allied Hero. While Plasma Shield is active, 20% of the target's Basic Attack damage against the primary target is returned as Health.

Cooldown: 8 seconds

Deal 114.4 (+4% per level) damage per second to enemies in target area for 3 seconds.

Force Field (E)
Mana: 35
Charge Cooldown: 8 seconds

Two charges. Create a force field that blocks all units from moving through it for 2.5 seconds.

Become invulnerable and Unrevealable for 1.5 seconds.

Transform into an Archon, gaining a 474.24 (+4% per level) point Shield, causing Basic Attacks to deal 138.53 (+4% per level) damage and splash for 68.64 (+4% per level) additional damage. Lasts for 12.5 seconds.

Passive: Plasma Shield shield amount reduced by 20%.

Hallucination (R)
Heroic Ability
Mana: 80
Cooldown: 100 seconds

Make a target allied hero invulnerable and Unrevealable for 1.5 seconds, and summon a hallucination in their place that will fight for 4 seconds or until killed. Hallucinations have 50% of the target Hero's health, and deal 25% of the target's attack damage. Cannot be self-cast.

Passive: Basic Attack damage reduced by 40%.

Talents

Tier 1 (Level 1)


Leeching Plasma (Q)
Plasma Shield's life steal is increased to 30%.

Psi-Infusion (W)
Psionic Storm returns 5 Mana for each target initially hit.
! Quest: Gathering Regeneration Globes increases your Mana Regeneration by 0.102 per second, up to 2.538 per second.
! Reward: After gathering 25 Globes, also increase the damage of Psi Storm by 25%.

Reinforce Structure (Q)
Plasma Shield is 100% stronger and lasts 100% longer when cast on Structures.

Tier 2 (Level 4)


Khala's Embrace (Q)
If Plasma Shield expires, 50% of the Shield remains indefinitely. This effect does not stack.

Static Charge (W)
Enemies damaged by Psionic Storm are marked with Static Charge. Your Basic Attacks consume the Static Charge to deal 54.08 (+4% per level) damage.

Force Wall (E)
Adds 2 additional charges of Force Field.

Tier 3 (Level 7)


Resonation (W)
Psionic Storm targets are slowed by 25% for 1 second.

Mental Acuity (D)
Reduces the cooldown of Oracle by 20 seconds and increases the duration by 2 seconds.

Deep Shift (1)
Dimensional Shift duration increased by 1.5 seconds.

Tier 5 (Level 13)


Templar Fortitude (Q)
Plasma Shield shield amount increased by 20%.

Evasive Shielding (Q)
The target of your Plasma Shield also gains 25% Movement Speed for 5 seconds.

Prescience (1)
Dimensional Shift will automatically activate when you fall below 15% Health. This effect has a separate 45 second cooldown.

Tier 6 (Level 16)


Distortion Beam
Basic Attack speed increased by 100%.

Second Strike (W)
After casting Psionic Storm, you may cast an untalented Psionic Storm again for free within 3 seconds.

Force Barrier (E)
Increases the radius of Force Field by 10% and the duration by 1 second.

Dimensional Warp (1)
While Dimensional Shifted, gain 50% Movement Speed and heal for 399.36 (+4% per level) Health.

Tier 7 (Level 20)


Twilight Archon (R)
Increases Archon's initial Shield and Attack Damage by 50%, and causes Basic Attacks to deal bonus damage equal to 1% of the target's maximum Health.

Adun's Image (R)
Hallucinations last 1 additional second and their Basic Attacks deal damage equal to 0.5% of the target's maximum Health.

Storm Shield (Active)
Activate to give all nearby allied Heroes a Shield for 20% of their max Health for 3 seconds.

Feedback (Active)
Activate to burn 40% of a target enemy Hero's maximum mana, and deal that amount in damage. 100 second cooldown.
