The High Templar

"High Templar are protoss warriors that use powerful psionic powers to support other protoss forces."
Despite being support units in Starcraft, in Heroes of the Storm they didn´t fit into the heal support role. I would say High Templar are more specialists similar to Medivh or Xul with cc, mind games, and high damage.

Tassadars playstyle is twofold. His kit allow him mage like solo laner qualities (poke, good waveclear, escape only with allied heroes near him) and from the game beginning Tassadar try to build up enough energy, through Mana consumption, for his more bruiser like teamfighting form, the Archon.

In case of questions after reading some Abilities or Talents look at the Clarification section below for some examples and mock up pictures for easier understanding.

Keep in mind that some cooldowns, damage percentage and other basic things can be way off and overpowered because theres nearly no opportunity for me to test it under game condition.

Combat Trait

Plasma Shield
50% of Tassadars Base Health is a powerful non degenerative Shield. The Plasma Shield restores a moderate amount of shield each second when you have not taken damage for 6 seconds.
Passiv: Tassadar do not regenerates health.

Primary Abilities

Q - Feedback
Apply minor damage and reflect 30% of an enemy heroes damage for 2 seconds towards him, up to a maximum of 100% Base Damage of the Ability or Basic Attack.

W - Psionic Storm
Deal heavy damage over 4 seconds in a big area. The damage increases for each consecutive instance of damage.

Creates an Illusion Clone of Tassadar or an allied hero for 5 seconds, after 1 second Tassadar can teleport to the Illusion which removes it. Illusion takes double damage from all sources.

Deal heavy damage to an enemy at melee range and slow him by 15% for 2 seconds.

Create an Electric Laser which deal moderate damage, from the targeted point towards the targeted direction, leaving a burned path for 1 second and minor damage.

Heroic Abilities

Archon
Transform into an Archon, gaining a Bonus Shield and a new kit of Abilities, causing Basic Attacks to deal moderate damage and splash for half additional damage. The duration and Bonus Shield of Archon is slowly charged over time by Tassadar's Mana consumption, after reaching a threshold Tassadar can warp into an Archon premature. The Bonus Shield is lost when Archon expire.

Talents

Level 1

  • Passive - Khaydarin Amulet - Regeneration Globes restore 100% more mana but don't restore health. !Quest: After gathering 20 Globes, also increase your maximum Mana by 150.

  • Q - Templar's Will - Feedback's duration reduced to 1 second. The initial damage burst gains up to 200% Bonus Damage depending on the level of Mana an enemy has left in his Mana Pool. The higher the Mana level the more damage you deal.

  • E - Illusion Stability - Increases the duration of the Illusion by 5 seconds, each hit the Illusion receive grants you 10 Mana for the Archon Storage, up to 50 Mana.

Level 4

  • Active - Overload - Active: Gain 25 Ability Power for 5 seconds. 40 Mana, 50 seconds cooldown.

  • Q - Energize - Increases Feedback's range by 30%.

  • Q - Static Charge - Tassadar's Basic Attacks against enemy heroes under the effect of Feedback dealing 200% damage.

  • E - Into their Minds - Hallucination can now also be cast on enemy heroes.

Level 7

  • W - Resonation - Psionic Storm adds slow to enemy heroes, slow increasing gradual from 10% - 40%.

  • Q - Mass Feedback - Enemy heroes near the target also get an untalented Feedback.

  • E - Mental Ally - After you teleported to the Illusion gain 25 armor for 4 seconds.

Level 10

  • R - Power Overwhelming - Upon expiring or leaving the Archon form, you deal after a 1 second delay heavy amount of damage around yourself.

  • R - Twilight Archon - Every moderate damage dealt while in Archon increases its duration by 1 second.

  • R - Relentless Archon - Reduces the duration of stuns, slows, roots, and polymorphs against you by 50% while in Archon form. Passive: Gain 10% Movement Speed while in Archon.

Level 13

  • W - Psi-Infusion - Allied heroes gains 40% attack speed while they are in the the radius of Psionic Storm.

  • W - Psionic Echo - For each enemy hero hit by Psionic Storm reduce its cooldown by 2 seconds.

  • Q - Templar's Wisdom - Reflected damage refreshes Feedback's duration effect.

Level 16

  • W - Plasma Surge - Allied heroes building up a Shield while they are in the radius of Psionic Storm.

  • Trait - Khala's Cradle - When Tassadar's Shield receive 40% max shield damage at once, the remaining damage is absorbed. 30 seconds cooldown.

  • Trait - Khala's Momentum - Active: Plasma Shield's cooldown is immediately refreshed and the regeneration gets unbreakable for 12 seconds. 60 seconds cooldown.

Level 20

  • Active - Ground Armor - Active: Activate to instantly restore 300 Mana and 50 Spell Armor for 4 seconds. 90 seconds cooldown.

  • R - Khala's Embrace - Mana consumption of near allied heroes also stored in the Archon Storage.

  • E - Global Present - Hallucination range greatly increased. (Falstad fly range?)

  • Active - Rewind - Active: Activate to reset the cooldowns of your Basic Abilities, Rewind also destroys your shield. 30 seconds cooldown.

Trait & Ultimate
Think of it as a reversed Muradin trait, who restore health after 4s without taking damage when below 40% health. Tassadar always restores his shield without taking damage for 6s. As example you barely escaped a enemy gank at level 1 with 102 health left, after some while without damage or healing involvement you get to 802 Shield + 102 Health = 904 Hitpoints. Main inspiration for this High Templar kit i got from the great Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void trailer and of course the SC1 and SC2 High Templar units also some reddit threads helped me to realize the wishes for Tassadar.
