Reworked Retribution Paladin (For WoW)

General Concept: (Subject to change)
Role: Melee DPS
A vindictive Paladin driven by retribution to judge and punish opponents with divine might.

Core Abilities: (Numbers are merely placeholders until properly tested)
Power Resource: Holy Power
(Passive): Unleashing a Seal's true energy generates Holy Power based on how empowered it was. You can only store so much Holy Power at a time.

Seals
(Active): Bless yourself with a Seal, empowering your attacks with unique properties. You have several Seals to choose from, but only 1 can be active at a time.

Crusader Strike
(Active): A melee Physical attack that increases the amount of Holy Power your next unleashed Seal generates.

Blade of Justice
(Active): A short-ranged Physical attack that greatly increases the amount of Holy Power your next unleashed Seal generates.

Judgment
(Active): A ranged attack that strikes a verdict on the victim to unleash the full power of your active Seal, consuming it in the process while generating Holy Power.

Avenging Wrath
(Active): Temporarily become the embodiment of the Light’s vengeance to enable Judgment to deal Holy damage for every Holy Power you generate. Your Holy Power spenders extend Avenging Wrath’s duration.

Hammer of Wrath
(Active): One of three unique talents that can only be activated during Avenging Wrath and costs Holy Power, dealing massive Radiant damage in different ways based on the chosen talent.

(Passive): When you unleash a Seal, you generate Holy Power based on how empowered it was. You can store up to 30 Holy Power at any time.

(Passive): You automatically regenerate Mana over time, up to a small limit.

(Passive): While Avenging Wrath's remaining duration exceeds 15s, your Holy and Radiant damage done are increased by an additional (5% + (1% Per X Mastery)).

(Passive): Your Spell Power is increased by 120% of your Strength.

Pursuit of Justice
Unlocked at Level 28

(Passive): While Avenging Wrath’s remaining duration exceeds 15s, Blade of Justice has a 30y range and grants you 60% bonus Movement Speed towards the victim that rapidly decays over 3s.

Sanctified Light
Unlocked at Level 35

(Passive): Your Critical Crusader Strikes and Blades of Justice empower 100% more Holy Power into your next unleashed Seal.

Divine Purpose
Unlocked at Level 70

(Passive): Every 4th Holy Power spender causes your next Holy Power spender within 10s to cost 0 Holy Power.

(Passive): Empowers your next unleashed Seal to generate 4 Holy Power to a maximum of 30.

Unlocked at Level 20
(Passive): Crusader Strike can now store up to 2 charges.

Cooldown: 10.5s

(Active): Impale the target enemy with a sword of condensed Light, dealing (452% of Attack Power) Physical damage.

Empowers your next unleashed Seal to generate 7 Holy Power to a maximum of 30.

Judgment
Unlocked at Level 10
Cast Range: 10y
Cooldown: 6s

(Active): Strike a verdict on the enemy target, unleashing all of the energy stored within your active Seal, but consuming it in the process. Ignores the global cooldown.

While you have a Seal active, it does not begin cooling down until unleashed or otherwise removed. You can only have 1 Seal active at a time.

Seal of Zealotry
Unlocked at Level 10
Cooldown: 20s

(Active): Bless yourself with the zeal of a crusader, causing your auto attacks to cause your next Crusader Strike or Blade of Justice to deal an additional 20% damage as Holy, up to 40%.

Unleashing the energy of this Seal marks the Judged victim for 7.5s, causing your auto attacks, Crusader Strikes, and Blades of Justice against them to instead deal 100% of their damage as Holy. Every 1 Holy Power unleashed by this Seal extends the debuff duration by an additional 0.75s.

“Put your faith in the Light, and all is possible.”

Activating a Seal only occurs a 1s global cooldown instead of the traditional 1.5s.

Seal of Righteousness
Unlocked at Level 11
Cooldown: 20s

(Active): Bless yourself the justification of a saint, causing your auto attacks, Crusader Strike, and Blade of Justice to deal an additional 6% damage as Holy damage to all enemies 8y in front of you, plus an additional 6% damage per enemy hit after the 1st, up to 4.

Unleashing the energy of this Seal deals (150% of Spell Power) Holy damage to all enemies within 8y of the Judged victim, plus an additional 25% bonus damage per enemy hit after the 1st, up to 4. Every 1 Holy Power unleashed by this Seal increases the bonus damage done per additional enemy hit by an additional 2.5%.

Activating a Seal only occurs a 1.0s global cooldown instead of the traditional 1.5s.

Seal of Truth
Unlocked at Level 10
Cooldown: 20s

(Active): Bless yourself with the absolutism of the Light, causing your Crusader Strikes to apply 1 Painful Truth or Blades of Justice to apply 3 Painful Truths, up to 5, causing the victim to take (30% of Spell Power) Holy damage per Painful Truth over 15s.

While at 5 or more stored Painful Truths, your auto attacks deal (100% of Spell Power) bonus Holy damage to the victim.

Unleashing the energy of this Seal deals (300% of Spell Power) Holy damage to the Judged victim, and consumes their Painful Truths to deal an additional 15% damage per Painful Truth consumed. Every 1 Holy Power unleashed by this Seal increases the additional damage done per Painful Truth consumed by an additional 1.5%.

Activating a Seal only occurs a 1.0s global cooldown instead of the traditional 1.5s.

Avenging Wrath
Unlocked at Level 13
Cooldown: 30s

(Active): Become the embodiment of the Holy Light’s vengeance for 20s, increasing your Holy and Radiant damage done by 15%.

Unlocked at Level 45
(Passive): Your Holy Power spenders extend Avenging Wrath’s duration by 5s, or 10s if consuming Holy Power, to a maximum of 30s.

“Evil shows no mercy, neither is it shown any by the Light.”

(Active): After a 10s cast you bring the dead ally target to life with 35% of their maximum Health and Mana. Cannot be used during combat.

(Active): Call upon the Light to shield you from harm, gaining Immunity to all damage and hostile effects for 8s. Cannot be used if you have Forbearance. Causes Forbearance for 30s.

Cost: 13% of Base Mana
Cooldown: 8s

(Active): Cleanse the ally target, removing all Poison and Disease effects.

Cost: 13% of Base Mana
Cooldown: 30s

(Active): Places a holy Hand on the enemy target, preventing them from moving faster than normal movement speed for 6s.

Cast Range: 8y
Cooldown: 15s

(Active): Interrupts spellcasting and prevents any spell in that school from being cast for 4s.

Shield of Vengeance
Unlocked at Level 32
Cooldown: 120s

(Active): Creates a barrier of holy Light that absorbs (1700% of Spell Power) incoming damage for up to 15s. When the barrier is consumed, 100% of the mitigated damage is dealt as Holy damage divided across all enemies within 8y.

(Active): Bless the ally target with supernatural liberation, granting them Immunity to movement-impairing effects for 8s.

(Active): Call upon a miracle that only the Light can fulfill, healing the ally target for 100% of your maximum Health. Cannot be used on a target with Forbearance. Causes Forbearance for 30s.
