Thaddius

Flesh Titan

'Thaddius, built from the flesh of women and children. It is said that their souls are fused together - - eternally bound within that foul prison of flesh...'

                                             
Thaddius is an aggressive melee warrior with a lot of self sustain. His trait, Polarity, allows him to mark his enemies with a charge - - augmenting the effect that his abilities will have on them. Proper management of his Polarity charges would be crucial to success.

Cosmetic: Thaddius' combat style resembles that of a boxer. When he uses his Q, Power Surge, he performs an uppercut. His raised fist acts as a sort of lightning rod and a bolt of electricity arcs from his fist to his target.

Combat Trait

Polarity
Activate to switch your charge from Positive to Negative, or vice versa. 3 second cooldown.

Primary Abilities

Power Surge
Empower your next basic attack, increasing its range and damage by 50%. Enemies heroes hit by Power Surge become marked with a Positive or Negative charge (the same charge that Thaddius currently has). Charges remain for 15 seconds. 3 second cooldown.

Magnetism
Magnetize the area around Thaddius. Lasts 3 seconds. 12 second cooldown.

- Nearby enemy heroes that have a different charge than Thaddius are pulled towards him.

- Nearby enemy heroes with the same charge as Thaddius are pushed out of the aura.

Static Field
Activate an aura of static electricity around Thaddius that periodically shocks nearby enemies for small amounts of lightning damage. No cooldown. (Toggled on and off like Arthas' aura).

- Nearby enemy heroes with a different charge than Thaddius' take 200% increased damage from Static Field.

- Nearby enemy heroes with the same charge as Thaddius deal 50% less damage to Thaddius for 1 second after taking damage from Static Field.

Heroic Abilities

Ball Lightning
Shoot out a slow moving orb of lightning that shocks enemies as it moves through them.  50 second cooldown.

Ball Lightning's damage increases by 20% when it damages a target with a charge.

Feugen & Stalagg
Summon Feugen and Stalagg to attack nearby enemies. Thaddius takes 10% reduced damage for each of the two summons that are alive. 15 second duration. 80 second cooldown.

Talents

Level 1:
AC: Heal yourself for 3% of your health whenever you change your Polarity.

DC:
After staying in one Polarity for 5 seconds, gain 2% of your health every second that you remain in that Polarity.
Generator: Heal for 5% of your health every 15 seconds for each enemy hero marked with a charge.

Level 4:
Breaker: The range and damage of Power Surge is increased by another 25% if it will change the target's charge.
Magnetic Presence: Increases the duration of Magnetism by 1 second and increases its size by 20%.
Electromagnet: Charged enemies who are being pulled towards Thaddius by Magnetism take an additional 100% damage from Static Field.

Level 7:

Power Siphon: Enemies marked by Power Surge have their movement speed reduced by 4% for the duration of the mark. Thaddius moves 4% faster for each target affected by Power Siphon.
Repulse: Thaddius takes 30% decreased damage while Magnetism is active.
Static Cling: Enemies that leave Static Field carry a small version of the aura with themselves that will shock their nearby allies for 3 seconds.

Level 10:
See above section.

Level 13:
Magnetic Domain: Basic attacks dealt to targets while Magnetism is active heal for 100% of the damage they deal.
Large And In Charge: Reduce the duration of silences, stuns, slows, and roots against you by 50% while Static Field is active.
Potential Energy: Your ability cooldowns refresh 35% faster while Static Field is active.

Level 16:

Grounded: Ability damage against Thaddius is reduced by 8% for each enemy hero currently marked with a charge.
Arc Discharge: Using Power Surge on a target that already has a charge causes a copy of that charge to bounce to another nearby enemy hero.
Thunderstruck: Enemies are stunned for 0.75 seconds if your Power Surge changes their Polarity.

Level 20:

...& Stalagg & Feugen:
Feugen & Stalagg will resurrect after 3 seconds as long as the other one remains alive and their duration is increased by 5 seconds.

Goodness Gracious:
The cooldown of Ball Lightning is reduced by 5 seconds for each unit with a charge that it damages.

Overclock:
Basic attacks increase your attack speed by 10%, to a maximum of 100%. Effect is lost if it hasn't been refreshed for 5 seconds.
Nexus Blades: Basic attacks deal 20% more damage and slow enemy movement speed by 20% for 1 second.

Very nice concept, as always.

For BALL LIGHTNING, I would have seen something funny :
Thaddius shout an orb that take the same charge of Thaddius.
Then it move quickly to the nearest enemy in range with an opposite charge and damage it. The orb then take this enemy charge and repeat it untill there is no valid target.

Not sure if you see what I mean.

That's a cool idea! Honestly at that point I just thought "let's just give him a straightforward damage ability"; he's already got a lot to keep track of with his basic abilities.
