Ability Overview:
Trait: Hand of Justice
Thaurissan's trait, Hand of Justice, allows Thaurissan to combo his basic abilities by lowering the cooldown and mana cost of them if he never uses two of the same abilities in a row. All of his basic abilities have short cooldowns, which makes keeping up with his trait a breeze. Thaurissan also has many talents that bring extra value to triggering his trait, like extra self-healing or bonus cooldown reductions.
Q: Ironfoe
Wielding this legendary hammer of the Dark Iron Clan, Thaurissan can empower his basic abilities to trigger instantly, cause him to charge at his target and slow for a short duration. If Thaurissan is able to pull it off, casting Ironfoe on a target that is already slowed by Ironfoe will instead stun them. Without outside help, this can only be possible if he capitalizes on his trait, as the slow's duration is the same as Ironfoe's cooldown.
W: Mark of Blackrock
For some extra self healing for you and your team, Thaurissan can brand an enemy to deal damage to them. While they are branded, basic attacks against them heal the attacker, especially useful when your team has heroes like Raynor or Illidan. Keep in mind however, that the brand only stays up if Thaurissan remains close to them... the range can be unforgiving.
E: Emperor's Seal
For the Emperor's final basic ability, Emperor's Seal allows Thaurissan to empower his next other ability to deal bonus damage and slow for even more than it normally does.
H1: Avatar of Flame
Feeling like copying another well-known Tank in the Nexus? Avatar of Flame will suit you. Similar to Muradin's Avatar heroic, Thaurissan transforms into a mighty colossus for a duration. Unlike the Bronzebeard King, Avatar of Flame instead grants the Emperor an increase to his Armor aswell as giving him Unstoppable.
H2: Fury of the Depths
Need a bit more direct damage? Fury of the Depths causes Thaurissan to explode in flames, dealing damage and slowing all nearby enemies. This ability also plays into his trait, causing each trigger of Hand of Justice to reduce this ability's already small cooldown.
