Guardians of the Worldstone

Talic the Defender, Madawc the Guardian and Korlic the Protector: Three Heroes that must be queued together.

Gains bonuses while other Ancients are nearby.

Excels at team fights and ganks.

Requries a lot of team work.

Best paired with a specialist and a healer.

Countered by focus and poke.

Causes Talic’s next basic attack deal 150% increased damage. While Concentrating and for 1.5 seconds after Concentrating, Talic gains Unstoppable and 20% physical armor for 1.5 seconds.

Passive: Taking damage while under the effects of Concentrate reduce its cooldown by 1.5 seconds.

Whirlwind

Cooldown: 12 seconds

Talic unleashes a fierce spinning attack to target location, dealing 26 (+4% per level) damage every 0.25 seconds to enemies in its radius and slowing targets' movement speed by 8% for 3 seconds stacking. Enemy Heroes hit by Whirlwind increase its damage by 8% stacking(this Whirlwind only).

Talic can move through enemies while executing whirlwind. Cannot be canceled.

Talic shouts in a large radius, granting all allied heroes caught in its radius 10% increased physical armor for 4 seconds. This bonus is increased by 5% for each other Ancient in its radius.

Korlic the Protector

Causes Korlic’s next basic attack to Berserk, dealing 284 spell damage and increasing spell power by 20% for 3 seconds, but decreasing Korlic's armor by 10% for 3 seconds. While under the effects of Berserk, Korlic gains 20% movement speed and attack speed. In addition, all basic attacks Berserk and refresh the duration of Berserk.

Passive: Korlic's basic attacks cleave in a wide radius.

Leap Attack
Cooldown: 12 seconds

Vector Targeting
Korlic leaps to target location and swings his polearm in a semi-circle shape, dealing 129 (+4% per level) damage and pushing enemies to the end of the swing. If an enemy collides with terrain, they take an additional 129 (+4% per level) damage and are stunned for 1 second.

(1): Activate to change the direction Korlic swings his polearm.

Korlic shouts in a large radius, granting all allied heroes caught in its radius 10% increased spell armor for 4 seconds. This bonus is increased by 5% for each other Ancient in its radius.

ASSASSIN

Double Throw
Cooldown: 6 seconds
40 mana
Causes Madawc’s next basic attack to throw both axes, striking twice with 20% increased range. If Double Throw hits a Hero, Madawc gains 1 stack of Frenzy, increasing attack speed by 10% and movement speed by 5% for 4 seconds. Double Throws against enemies refresh this duration. Maximum 5 stacks of Frenzy.

Passive: Every 3rd basic attack is a Double Throw.

Throwing Knife

Madawc throws three knives in a spread pattern, pushing back the first enemy caught in its path, dealing 56 (+4% per level) damage. If the enemy collides with terrain, they take 148 (+4% per level) damage and are stunned for 1 second.

Madawc shouts in a large radius, granting all allied heroes caught in its radius 10% increased attack speed for 4 seconds. This bonus is increased by 5% for each other Ancient in its radius.

Heroic Abilities

Impale (Talic)
Requires Sword
Cooldown: 100 seconds
100 mana
Talic charges in target direction and impales the first enemy hero hit on his sword to the ground for 3 seconds, stunning them dealing 86 damage per second. Enemy Heroes that are near the impaled target within the duration of Impale are feared until they leave the (small) radius. Talic is unable to perform certain abilities until his sword is recovered (walk to spot of impaled target after Impale).

Battering Ram (Korlic)
Cooldown: 90 seconds
100 mana
Korlic charges in target direction and impales the first enemy hero hit on his polearm dealing 94 (+4% per level) damage, swings them behind Korlic, and charges (accelerating) until they collide with terrain or an enemy Hero or structure, dealing 206 (+4% per level) damage to both targets. Damage is increased by 35% for each second traveled.

War Cry (Madawc)
Cooldown: 45 seconds
90 mana
Madawc shouts in a large radius, stunning all enemy heroes for 0.5 seconds and dealing 98 (+4% per level) damage. Enemies near Madawc are instead stunned for 1.25 seconds and take 298 (+4% per level) damage.

Stat Boost (All Ancients)
Cooldown: 50 seconds
80 mana
Swap places with target Ancient. Shared cooldown for all Ancients.

Passive: All ancients gain half their weapon mastery effect. This bonus is increased by 50% for each nearby Ancient, up to the full bonus. Weapon Mastery can still be activated.

Passive: Battle Orders (E)
Shout also increases basic attack damage by 10%, increasing by 5% for each other Ancient caught in its radius.

Passive: Battle Command (E)
Battle Command also increases spell power by 10%, increasing by 5% for each other Ancient caught in its radius.

Passive: Shout (E)
Battle Orders also increases basic attack range by 10%, increasing by 5% for each other Ancient caught in its radius.

Choosing Stat Boost will choose it for all other ancients, while choosing another ultimate will lock Stat Boost.

Special Mount

Increase Speed
Cooldown: 30 seconds
All Ancients gain 10% movement speed for 4 seconds, gaining an extra 10% movement speed for each other nearby Ancient.
Shared cooldown for all ancients.

Talents

Talents with a "*" are available for all ancients and will stack.

It's my first time creating a new hero and I went BIG.

There are sure to be issues with the numbers and imbalances here and there, but in the end this hero is just an idea.

Talic the Defender

Lvl 1

-Town Portal*
Consume a charge to return to the Hall of Storms. Gain a charge on Hero takedowns. Lose all charges on death.

-Shield Wall
Talic gains 25 physical armor against basic attacks that hit the front of Madawc (90 degree arc), reducing their damage by 25%.

-Overpower
Quest: Reducing Concentrate's cooldown by at least 4.5 seconds increases the cooldown reduction of Concentrate by 0.05 seconds.
Reward: Upon receiving 0.5 seconds of increased duration, basic attacks heal for 30% of the damage dealt while under the effects of Concentrate.
Reward: Upon receiving 1 second of increased duration, getting hit while under the effects of Concentrate also reduce the cooldowns of all other abilities by 0.5 seconds.

-Vicious Winds
Repeatable Quest: Enemy heroes hit by Whirlwind permanently increase Whirlwind's damage bonus per Hero hit and slow amount by 0.05%.

-Talic the Defender
Quest: Regeneration Globes increase Shout's radius by 1%, up to 20%.
Reward: Upon collecting 20 Regen Globes, Shout also reduces the physical armor of enemy Heroes caught in its radius by an amount equal to the physical armor gained by Talic from Shout.

lvl 4

-Ancient Rush*
Increase Increase Speed's movement speed bonus for each nearby Ancient by 5%.

-Northern Fortitude*
All cooldowns recharge 15% faster for each nearby Ancient.

-Lone Ranger*
While no ancients are nearby, cooldowns recharge 30% faster.

-Into the Fray*
Respawn 25% faster for each living ancient.

Lvl 7

-Executioner
Attacking a Hero that is slowed, rooted, or stunned increases your Basic Attack damage by 30% for 3 seconds.

-Round Trip
For 3 seconds, Whirlwind can be reactivated to Whirlwind back to the point it was cast from.

-Whirl of Death
If Whirlwind hits Heroes at least 7 times, its cooldown is set to 1.

-The Best Defence
Increase Concentrate's cooldown reduction to 2 seconds and the physical armor bonus to 30%.

-Pat on the Back*
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Heal all other nearby ancients for 25% of their max health over 4 seconds.

Lvl 10

Ultimates

Lvl 13

-Call of Arreat*
Cooldown: 120 seconds
Channel for 3 seconds, then teleport to an allied Ancient. Cooldown recharges 50% faster for each nearby Ancient.

-Call of the Ancients*
Cooldown: 120 seconds
Channel for 3 seconds, then summon ghosts of all dead Ancients that last for 10 seconds. Cooldown recharges 50% faster for each nearby Ancient.

-Decimate
If Concentrate is used twice in 3 seconds, the second Concentrate's damage bonus is increased to 500%.

-Reckless Fury
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Consume all physical armor to gain percent damage equal to the amount of physical armor lost for 5 seconds.

Lvl 16

-Band of Brothers
Reduce the cooldown of Battle Orders by 4 seconds for each ancient in its radius.

-Boss Status*
Whenever an enemy hero finishes Hearthstoning, fully restore health and mana and refresh all basic ability cooldowns.

-Lightning Enchanted
Whenever Talic is hit by a Hero, Talic releases 4 lightning bolts in 4 opposite directions that deal 26 (+4% per level) damage. Increase this damage by 100% while under the effects of Concentrate.

-Flesh Wound
Whirlwind reduces the healing received by enemy Heroes struck by 5% for 3 seconds. Heroes hit by Whirlwind refresh this duration.

Lvl 20

-Ancient Smash: Stat Boost (R)*
Cooldown: 40 seconds
All ancients leap to target location and deal 242 (+4% per lvl) in total to all enemies in its radius and slow them by 25% for 2 seconds. For 4 seconds after using Ancient Smash, all Ancients gain all bonuses from Weapon Mastery. Requires all living ancients to be nearby. Choosing this talent will lock all other lvl 20 talents while choosing another talent will lock Trinity Smash. Shared cooldown for all ancients.

-Spare Sword: Impale (R)
Talic pulls out his spare sword after using impale. Using concentrate on the impaled hero will knock over the sword and push the hero in that direction, stunning them for 1 second upon impact.

-Aggrevate
Enemy Heroes hit by Concentrate are silenced and forced to attack Talic for 0.75 seconds. Cannot occur more than once every 3 seconds.

-Hurricane
Increase the radius of Whirlwind by 20%, but reduce its base damage by 20%.

-Full Rejuvenation Potion*
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Charges: 4
Activate to fully restore health and mana.
Charges are shared among all ancients, cooldown is not.
Each other ancient who chooses this talent adds 4 more charges.

Korlic the Protector

Lvl 1

-Town Portal*
Consume a charge to return to the Hall of Storms. Gain a charge on Hero takedowns. Lose all charges on death.

-Natural Resistance
Whenever Korlic hits or stuns a Hero with Leap Attack, gain a charge of Natural Resistance, gaining 30 spell armor on the next Ability, reducing its damage by 30%. Maximum of 4 stacks. (Therefore stunning a Hero grants 2 stacks total)

-Sharpened Armory
Quest: Hitting Heroes with Berserk increases its damage by 2, up to 80 extra damage.
Reward: After hitting 40 Heroes with Berserk, Berserk deals an additional 40 damage.

-Ambidextrous
Quest: Stun enemy Heroes on each orientation of Leap Attack.
Reward: After stunning 3 Heroes while swinging to the right, Leap Attack slows enemies hit by 12.5% for 2 seconds.
Reward: After stunning 3 Heroes while swinging to the left, Leap Attack slows enemies hit by 12.5% for 2 seconds.
Reward: After stunning 3 Heroes while swinging on both orientations, increase the radius of Leap Attack's swing by 15%.

-Korlic the Protector
Quest: Regeneration Globes increase Battle Command's radius by 1%, up to 20%.
Reward: Upon collecting 20 Regen Globes, Battle Command also reduces the spell armor of enemy Heroes caught in its radius by an amount equal to the spell armor gained by Korlic from Battle Command.

Lvl 4

Increase Increase Speed's movement speed bonus for each nearby Ancient by 5%.

-Protector of the Worldstone
Hero takedowns grant 4% spell power, up to a maximum of 40%. Lose all spell power from Protector of the Worldstone on death.

-Pat on the Back*
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Heal all other nearby ancients for 25% of their max health over 4 seconds.

Lvl 10

Ultimates

Lvl 13

-Call of Arreat*
Cooldown: 120 seconds

-Korlic the Hopper
Increase the speed and range of Leap Attack's leap by 50%.

-Execute
Berserk deals damage equal to 3% of a Heroes max health for 3 seconds and refresh the duration of Execute after they have been hit by Leap attack. Increase the damage to 6% if they were stunned by Leap Attack.

-Controlled Fury
If Korlic hits at least 2 Heroes with Berserk, Korlic recieves no armor reduction from that Berserk.

Lvl 16

-Band of Brothers
Reduce the cooldown of Battle Command by 4 seconds for each Ancient in its radius.

-Boss Status*
Whenever an enemy hero finishes hearthstoning, fully restore health and mana and refresh all basic ability cooldowns.

-Fire Enchanted
Korlic deals damage equal to 5% of his missing health per second to nearby Heroes. Upon death, Korlic releases an explosion that deals damage to nearby Heroes equal to 15% of their maximum health.

-Poppy Seeds
Cooldown: 30 seconds
End Berserk and gain a shield equal to 30% of Korlic's maximum health. Can only be used while in Berserk.

Lvl 20

-Ancient Smash: Stat Boost (R)*
Cooldown: 40 seconds
All ancients leap to target location and deal 242 (+4% per lvl) in total to all enemies in its radius and slow them by 25% for 2 seconds. For 4 seconds after using Ancient Smash, all Ancients gain all bonuses from Weapon Mastery. Requires all living ancients to be nearby. Choosing this talent will lock all other lvl 20 talents while choosing another talent will lock Trinity Smash. Shared cooldown for all ancients.

-Shish Kabob: Battering Ram (R)
Battering Ram's charge impales all enemies struck. Battering Ram refreshes the duration of Berserk.

-Size Does Matter
Increase the radius of Korlic's basic attacks by 30%.

-Feel the Rage
After reaching 60% spell power from Berserk, gain an additional 20% movement speed and attack speed for the duration of Berserk.

-Full Rejuvenation Potion*
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Charges: 4
Activate to fully restore health and mana.
Charges are shared among all ancients, cooldown is not.
Each other ancient who chooses this talent adds 4 more charges.

Madawc the Guardian

Lvl 1

-Town Portal*
Consume a charge to return to the Hall of Storms. Gain a charge on Hero takedowns. Lose all charges on death.

-Dirty Fighting
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Throw dirt at target Hero, blinding them for 1.5 seconds.

-Axes and Allies
Quest: Heroes hit by Double Throw increases Madawc's attack damage by 0.25.
Reward: Upon hitting 100 Heroes (50 Double Throws), Double Throw's range is increased by 10%.

-Purge the Weak
Throwing Knives no longer pushes minions and mercanaries and now deals 150% increased damage to them.

-Madawc the Guardian
Quest: Regeneration Globes increase Battle Orders's radius by 1%, up to 20%.
Reward: Upon collecting 20 Regen Globes, Battle Orders also reduces the attack speed of enemy Heroes caught in its radius by an amount equal to the attack speed gained by Madawc from Battle Orders.

Lvl 4

-Ancient Rush*
Increase Increase Speed's movement speed bonus for each nearby Ancient by 5%.

-Northern Fortitude*
All cooldowns recharge 15% faster for each nearby Ancient.

-Lone Ranger*
While no ancients are nearby, cooldowns recharge 30% faster.

Lvl 7

-Marked for Death
Enemies stunned by Throwing Knives are marked, taking 200% increased damage from the next Double Throw against them in 3 seconds and healing Madawc for 50% of the damage dealt.

-Marksmanship
Enemies that are at least 6 yards away take 20% increased damage from Madawc.

-Explosive Axes
Double Throw explodes in a small area on hit, dealing 50% damage to nearby enemies around the primary target. Madawc gains a stack of Frenzy for each Hero hit.

-Pat on the Back*
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Heal all other nearby ancients for 25% of their max health over 4 seconds.

Lvl 10

Lvl 13

At 5 or more stacks of Frenzy, Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes deal bonus damage equal to 1% of the Hero's maximum Health.

-Replenishing Quantity
Heroes stunned by Throwing Knives reduce the cooldown of Throwing Knives by 4 seconds and increase the range by 50%.

Lvl 16

-Band of Brothers
Reduce the cooldown of Battle Orders by 4 seconds for each ancient in its radius.

-Boss Status*
Whenever an enemy hero finishes hearthstoning, fully restore health and mana and refresh all basic ability cooldowns.

-Avenger
While another Ancient is dead, the enemy Hero who killed that Ancient becomes Wanted. Madawc deals 25% more damage to Wanted Heroes When a Wanted Hero dies, the Ancient they killed is respawned. Only one Wanted per dead Ancient.

-Cold Enchanted
Double Throw slow Heroes' attack and movement speed by 20% for 2 seconds. Upon death, release a frost nova that deals 103 (+4% per level) damage that slows Heroes hit by 25% for 3 seconds.

-Mighty Throw
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Throw a large axe that deals damage equal to Madawc's basic attack damage times twice his attack speed.

Lvl 20

-Ancient Smash: Stat Boost (R)*
Cooldown: 40 seconds
All ancients leap to target location and deal 242 (+4% per lvl) in total to all enemies in its radius and slow them by 25% for 2 seconds. For 5 seconds after using Ancient Smash, all Ancients gain all bonuses from Weapon Mastery. Requires all living ancients to be nearby. Choosing this talent will lock all other lvl 20 talents while choosing another talent will lock Trinity Smash. Shared cooldown for all ancients.

-Deafening Cry: War Cry (R)
Shout also applies War Cry, but dealing no damage.

-Break the Limits
Increase the maximum stacks of Frenzy to 10.

-Knife to Meet You
Throwing Knives gets 2 extra charges, shoots only one knife, and has its cooldown and stun reduced by 50%.

-Full Rejuvenation potion*
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Charges: 4
Activate to fully restore health and mana.
Charges are shared among all ancients, cooldown is not.
Each other ancient who chooses this talent adds 4 more charges.
