The Overmind has no true physical presence save that of his Defiler and Overlord, but he has versatile abilities that allow him to control the battlefield. He can control a wave of minions or zerg minions, ordering them to attack a singular target instead of what they’re naturally ordered to do until the target is dead or no longer in vision.

Overlord: After .5 seconds, the Overmind opens a wormhole that bursts from the ground, pushing enemies away from the center and unleashes a minion wave of Zerg. The Zerg minions can be improved with talents. This spawns 5 Zerglings and 3 Hydralisks. Zerglings have 170 Health (+2% per Level), and deal 38 damage (+4% per level) per hit with a 1.2 Attack Speed. Zerglings also travel at 120% movement speed. Hydralisks have 450 Health (+2% per Level) and deal 88 damage (+4% per level) per with with a 1.0 Attack Speed. Hydralisks move at 80% movement speed.

Defiler: After channeling for 1 second, The Overmind commands the Defiler to use 10 stacks of Energy to conjure a large thick cloud that blinds all enemy non-structure units in an area. Lasts 4 seconds. This is accessed while commanding the Defiler.

Defiler: The Overmind commands the Defiler to use 5 stacks of Energy to throw a projectile that explodes in a target area, slowing enemy Attack Speed by 20% and damaging them for 57 every second.

Overlord: The Overmind commands the Overlord to contaminate a structure from afar, disabling it. This channel can be interrupted upon taking damage from an enemy Hero or a structure or otherwise cancelled.

Defiler: The Overmind commands the Defiler to Burrow. After two seconds, the Defiler gains Invisibility and is untargetable until it takes damage or unburrows. Health Regen is increased by 100% while Burrowed.

Overlord: The Overmind commands an Overlord to load a group of Zerg minions in an area. If the Overlord dies before unloading, the Zerg minions inside die as well. Maximum 8 minions. The Overlord will unload 1 Zerg minion every .75 seconds and cannot move until complete.

Defiler: Quest: The Overmind commands the Defiler to deal 500 damage(+2.5% per level) to an enemy Hero or non-minion/non-structure unit. When used on an enemy minion, the Defiler consumes it over 1 second, killing it and gaining a stack of Energy. Every 5 stacks of Energy gives the Defiler a 5% movement speed bonus, up to 50%. Using Plague or Swarm Cloud removes a 5% speed bonus. After reaching 25 stacks reduce the cooldown of Consume by 50% and gain access to Swarm Cloud. After reaching 50 stacks, Gain 2 Charges of Consume and using Plague and Swarm Cloud no longer removes speed bonuses. 1 second cooldown between uses.

Overlord: The Overmind commands an Overlord to radiate essence around it, giving nearby friendly units 30% bonus movement speed, 50% bonus attack speed, and make abilities cost no mana. Lasts 6 seconds. This is accessed while commanding the Overlord. Passive: The Overlord morphs into an Overseer, increasing its sight range by 50% and revealing the area around it.

Overlord: Choose an allied Hero. If that Hero dies within 5 seconds, The Overmind channels energy, reducing their next Death Timer by 50%. If the Hero doesn’t die, their cooldown speed is increased by 50%, and their Health regen is increased by 100% for 10 seconds. This is accessed while commanding the Overlord. If the Overlord dies before the 5 seconds end, its Death Timer is reduced by 75% and it gains a charge.

After 1.5 seconds, the Overlord will warp to a target area. For 1 second after, it cannot use abilities.

Tier 1

For The Swarm (Trait)
Reduce the cooldown of Will of the Swarm by 50% and allow the wave to select 2 more targets before losing total control. For every target killed by that group, increase their damage by 50%.

Move the Swarm (Z)
Overlord: The Overlord can use Warp when holding Zerg minions.

Infestation From Below (E)
Defiler: When the Defiler is burrowed, and for 6 seconds after unburrowing, nearby allied minions attack 25% slower, but deal 50% more damage.

Overlord: Zergling minions attack speed is increased by 75%.

Surprise Entourage (E)
Defiler: When the Defiler Unburrows, 4 Zergling Minions unburrow with it. These Zerglings can be talented.

Ventral Sacs (E)
Overlord: The Overlord can now unload 4 Zerg minions at a time, at the same rate.

Overlord: Nearby allied Heroes gain 10% bonus movement speed, and 25% bonus attack speed.

Grooved Spines (Q)
Overlord: Hydralisks gain 20% bonus movement speed, and their attacks deal an additional 2% maximum health damage to enemy Heroes.

Devouring Ones (Q)
Overlord: Zerglings deal additional damage to enemy Heroes equal to 1% of their maximum health.

Doom Drop (Q/E)
Overlord: Wormhole and Unload now also spawn an Ultralisk. The Ultralisk has 900 health(+4% per level) and deals 123 damage (+4% per level) and 50% percent of it to enemies around its target. The ultralisk cannot be loaded by the Overlord and lasts 15 seconds.

Incurable Disease (W)
Defiler: Enemies that get hit with slows or roots while under the effect of Plague extend the duration of plague by 5 seconds.

Tunneling Claws (E)
Defiler: The Defiler can now move while Burrowed, but can only be burrowed for 6 seconds.

Tier 20

Black Sheep Wall (R1)
Overlord: The Gathering now makes the Overseer stationary, but increases its vision by 300% and reveals all stealthed units while active.

Power Overwhelming (R2)
Overlord: Operation CWAL now makes the ally Invincible and have 50% increased damage if they survive for 3 seconds.

Evolution Complete (Trait)
Zerg Minions that are under the influence of Will of the Swarm benefit from all talents that affect them.

Assimilate into the Swarm (R0)
Defiler: If an enemy Hero dies within 1.5 seconds of being hit by Consume, the Defiler is healed completely, gains 50 energy, and its cooldowns are reset.
