The Overmind

Eternal Will of the Swarm

A Summoner that uses Zerg to control the battlefield.

The Overmind is a immobile Summoner that uses Zerg and his psychic powers to fight.

Role:
The Overmind's role is a summoner who uses his summons and abilities to support in teamfights or seige. Efficiently using his abilities and micromanaging rewards players.

The Overmind can reduce the power of a specific target or boost an ally with Eternal Will and deal heavy damage to warriors with Infest. Adapt strategically grants power to a Zerg if used correctly, allowing for deadly outplays.

Combat Trait

The Swarm
Gain 1 stack of Essence every 8 seconds and summon a Larva every 6 seconds. Can have up to 10 Essence and 3 Larva at a time. Activate this ability on a Larva to mutate it into a Zerg unit. Maximum of 6 units active at a time, excluding Larva.

Primary Abilities

Eternal Will
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Cast on an enemy hero to reduce their spell power by 10% and force all nearby Zerg to attack them for 5 seconds. Casting on an ally hero heals them for 320 health over 5 seconds and grants 10% spell power for 5 seconds.

Infest
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Infest a non-structure enemy, dealing damage equal to 10% of their maximum health over 4 seconds. If the enemy dies, summon 4 Zerglings and gain 1 Essence. Cannot be used on the same enemy two times in a row.

Adapt
Cooldown: 18 seconds
Activate to grant a target Zerg unit a 340 health shield for 2 seconds. If the shield is destroyed, the Zerg unit becomes invulnerable for 1.5 seconds, moves 15% faster and deals 30% more damage for 8 seconds.

Essence: 2
Transform a Larva into 1 Overlord that generates 1 additional Essence every 15 seconds and reveals nearby enemies. Lasts 60 seconds.

Mutation: Zerglings
Essence: 1
Transform a Larva into 2 Zerglings. Zerglings are fast melee attackers that deal 32 damage each and grants no death experience. Lasts 50 seconds. 2 Zerglings counts as 1 Zerg unit.

Mutation: Hydralisk
Essence: 2
Transform a Larva into 1 Hydralisk with a ranged attack that deals 72 damage. Lasts 60 seconds.

Mutation: Mutalisk
Essence: 2
Transform a Larva into 1 Mutalisk, a flying attacker that attacks multiple targets at once dealing 60 damage. Lasts 60 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Zerg Rush
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Increase your Essence generation by 100% and summon 6 Zerglings in a target lane with 50% additional movement speed decaying over 15 seconds. Summoning a Zerg unit also benefits it from the speed boost. Lasts for 20 seconds.

Chrysalis
Cooldown: 100 seconds
Put an ally hero in statis for up to 5 seconds. Each second grants 5 armor and 5% bonus damage after statis ends for 10 seconds. Enemies can destroy Chrysalis early. Casting Nydus Travel on a hero that is affected by Chrysalis instantly travels the units for free to them.

Cooldown: 15 seconds
Target unit instantly travels to a target location after 1 second.

Talents

Level 1:
-Swarm Hungers: Zerg heal for 20% of the damage dealt to heroes.
-Hivemind: Each Zerg alive grants all Zerg 4% bonus damage.
-Purpose: Zerg deal 20% more damage towards monsters and decrease the cooldown of Nydus Travel by 3 seconds.

Level 4:
-Metabolic Boost: Quest: Gain 10 Essence from Infest. Reward: Activate to increase the movement speed and attack speed by 20% of target Zerg.
-PSI Overload: Eternal Will stuns its target when used on an enemy for 0.5 seconds but its cooldown is increased by 4 seconds.
-Psychic Static: Enemies affected by Psychic Will deal 54 damage per second around them to nearby enemies.
-Hardened Claws: Quest: Deal 6000 damage with Zerg to enemy heroes. Reward: Basic attacks reduce the cooldown of Nydus Travel by 0.75 seconds.

Level 7:
-Evolution: Everytime a Zerg unit dies, reduce the cooldown of Adapt by 5 seconds.
-Consume: Increase the Essence gained from Infest by 100% and increase its damage by 25%.
-Spawning Pool: Increase your maximum Larva by 1 and increase the duration of all Zerg by 15%.

Level 10:
-Zerg Rush: Summon Zerglings, grant Zerg speed. Generate Essence.
-Chrysalis: Improve an ally hero.

Level 20:
-Eternal Swarm: The cooldown of Zerg Rush is reduced by 1% for every 400 experience you have gathered. Passive: Zerg move 10% faster and has 20% more health.
-Part of the swarm: Chrysalis effects lasts for 50% longer and nearby Zerg to the hero deals 20% more damage.
-Survival of the Fittest: Adapt's damage boost and invulnerability now activates upon use. Reduce its cooldown by 6 seconds.
-True Will: Each time an ability is used, give all Zerg a permanent 12 maximum health.
