The Three Sisters

Elemental Sorceress

My idea: Sorceress from D2. As you may know, she has 3 different ways/trees to follow: cold, fire and lightning. It’s a little chance of getting 3 different Sorceress from D2 in HotS, so I thought that it will be a good idea to merge them into one Hero with 3 personalities. And this is my idea: The Three Sisters.

Cold Sorceress: Saeiru
Fire Sorceress: Habacalva
Lightning Sorceress: Isendra


Base stats:

Health: 1290 (+4% per level)
HP Regen: 2,67 (+4% per level)
Mana: 550 (+10 per level)
MP Regen: 3 (+0,1 per level)

Attack per sec:
                Saeiru – 1
                Habacalva – 1,25
                Isendra – 1,1
Attack range:
                Saeiru – 5,5
                Habacalva – 1,5
                Isendra – 6
Damage (+4% per level):
                Saeiru – 60
                Habacalva – 88 + 22 damage over time
                Isendra – 1-145 

Combat Trait

Change
Hero consists of 3 different characters: Cold Sorceress, Fire Sorceress and Lightning Sorceress. They have different skills and work in different way. Their personalities change automatically after 20 seconds in this order: Cold -> Fire -> Lightning -> Cold. They have different sets of abilities, but from the same kind: Q is skillshot, W is AoE, E is buff. They have different Heroic Abilities, but each sorc has only one. Cooldowns on skills last even after changing Sorceress. Each Sorceress can use only her abilities during her 20 seconds of presence.

Saeiru has moderate damage, but also applies a little slow (5% for AA, 15% for skills) that lasts 3 seconds.

Habacalva has high damage that is split in 2 parts: instant damage and burning damage that lasts 3 seconds (this damage doesn't stack, but is refreshed after each hit). Fire Sorceress is melee character: she wields axe (you should know Beast in Berserker axe if you played D2).

Isendra is random (from D2 you can remember her numbers: damage from 1 to 20 000). She deals damage in parting from 1 to X and player doesn’t have any influence on this. She can hit really hard or can do it miserably.

Primary Abilities

Q - Skillshot
Every Sorceress has differrent Q ability.

Saeiru:

Glacial Spike

- Skillshot, similar to Jaina’s Frostbolt, but this one also do 60% damage on impact to everyone in small radius.


Mana: 32
Cooldown: 4 s.
Deal 180 damage to 1st target and 108 to everyone in small radius. Slow target for 15% for 3 secs.

Habacalva:

Inferno

- Sorceress is keeping bunch of flames towards cursor, doing damage per second, until she cancels it or as long as she has mana. After leaving Inferno, enemy is burning for 3 seconds.


Mana: 12 per second
Cooldown: 3 s.
Deal 184 damage per second to all targets within the flames. After leaving Inferno enemy is burning for 15 damage per second for 3 seconds.

Isendra:

Charged Bolt

- Sorceress casts wave bolts (6 bolts) which are going in arc. Bolts hit first target. Can hold up to 5 charges, possible to use them in quick succession.


Mana: 7 per wave.
Cooldown: 5 s. per wave.
Every bolt deals 1-66 damage.

W - AoE
Every Sorceress has different W ability.

Saeiru:


Frost Nova

- Ring of frost that is moving from Saeiru to outside in every direction. It does lighter damage than Glacial Spike, but to everyone close to caster.

Mana: 35
Cooldown: 9 s.
Deal 110 damage to all targets within the radius. Slow all enemies for 15% for 3 secs.


Habacalva:


Blaze

- This spell makes line of fire on the ground on footsteps of Habacalva. Line lasts for 4 secs and hurts everyone who cross it or will stay inside. Sorceress can run with this effect for a 6 secs or cancel it earlier. Cost is permanent, not mana per sec.

Mana: 40
Cooldown: 12 s.
Deal 184 damage per second to all targets staying/crossing flames. After leaving Blaze, enemy is burning for 15 damage per second for 3 seconds.


Isendra:

Thunder Storm

- Isendra makes a storm that lasts like 8 secs and, every 0,5 sec hits random target in an area around her. Of course, that random hit does random damage from some interval 1 – X.

Mana: 60
Cooldown: 17 s.
Every strike does 1-98 damage to random target every 0,5 s. Strikes are random, but enemy Heroes have 25% more chance to get hit.

E - Buff
Every Sorceress has different E ability.

Saeiru:

Chilling Armor

- When Sorceress is hit by enemy, it launches a spike that moves toward attacking enemy and hits first encountered target. Armor doesn’t have any duration in time – can launch 12 spikes before expire. Armor doesn't work with Damage over Time like Lunara's poison, Gul'dan's corruption etc.

Mana: 45
Cooldown: 13 s.
Every spike does 42 damage and slows target for 15% for 3 secs.


Habacalva:

Enchant

- After using this ability Habacalva's basic attacks will cleave to nearest targets for a 4 seconds. Enchant works only on Habacalva and expires when Isendra appears (or earlier).

Mana: 55
Cooldown: 8 s.
Basic attacks deal additional 40% damage. Target is burning for 15 damage per second for 3 seconds.


Isendra:

Energy Shield

- Isendra summons a shield that lasts for 4 seconds and absorbs incoming damage. Every 15% of this damage is going to hurt Hero's mana instead of heath points. If there is no mana, shield doesn’t work and still use HP.

Mana: 35
Cooldown: 8 s. after expiration
Shield uses mana to absorb 15% of damage dealt to Sorceress. Lasts 4 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Frozen Orb
Saeiru's Heroic Ablity.

Sorceress casts an orb that moves straight, deals massive damage and constantly shot spikes in every direction. Spikes do light damage, hit first targets and slow them.

Mana: 85
Cooldown: 100 s.
Orb deals 650 damage to all targets on its way. Every 0,2 s. Ice spike is launched from Orb (clockwise). Every spike deal 85 damage to its 1st target.

Meteor
Habacalva's Heroic Ability.

After short delay (point of impact is visible on the ground) meteor falls from the sky and deals massive damage to everyone on that area. After that, ground is burning for a few seconds.

Mana: 90
Cooldown: 120 s.
Indicator appears on the ground. After 2 seconds Meteor hits that area. Meteor deals 920 damage in radius similar to Jaina's Blizzard. Flames stay in point of impact for 3 seconds and deal 75 damage every 0,25 s. to everyone inside. After leaving this area, target is burning for 15 damage per second.

Static Field
Isendra's Heroic Ability.

Every enemy in short radius lose 20% of current HP. This skill can’t kill.

Mana: 60
Cooldown: 40 s.
Sorceress instantly hurts everyone in area around her (similar to Arthas's Frozen Tempest) for 20% of their CURRENT health points.

Talents

The Three Sisters have differencies in talents Tiers.

1 - General Upgrades
4 - Skills Upgrades
7 - Skills Upgrades
10 - Mastery
13 - Skills Upgrades
16 - Skills Upgrades
20 - Heroic Ability Upgrades

On 1, 10 and 20 lvl player can choose 1 talent out of 3. I was wondering what to do with levels 4, 7, 13 and 16. We have 3 possible options:
a) choose 1 talent out of 2 for every Sorceress (so 3 talents to pick on every Tier),
b) pick 1 talent out of 6,
c) merge/rework some talents into different ones giving bonuses to more then 1 sorceress.

If I will have time (and if you help me ^^), I will do the c) option.

1 = Are these separate played (like Vikings), or just used as a party (perhaps rotating/switching formation like Chen's ult does), and how you select the active caster = D/F keys ?

2 = What happens if one dies ? = do you get a complete death timer (like Dota's Meepo) or ?

In case you don't want to have them played split like Vikings = I think there's a cool mechanic for a party hero of three in a rather old game called 3 dirty dwarves (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2uNc7propo), seems cool to me lol = basically it's when a sorceress dies she goes unconscious and you have to select different one to wake her up, death happens when all 3 of them are unconscious lol

1. No, this is one player and one Hero. Only one of these Sorcs is active at time. You join game as Cold Sorceress (with only Cold skills) and after 20 second game automatically changes Sorc to Fire Sorceress (with only Fire skills). You can take 1 level tier talent to be able to manually switch Sorc whenever you want to (with 1 minute cooldown).

2. When Sorc (doesn't matter which one is active) dies, she gets complete death timer. During this time, the clock which is measuring which Sorc is "active", is still running. When u die as Cold sorc in her 10 second of existence and you get 25 seconds of respawn time, you will come back as Fire Sorc and will have 5 seconds as her, before she will change to Lightning Sorc.

Dirty dwarves idea is cool, but I think it might be a little bit too OP on this Hero. I think I might implement this mechanism on different Hero, if you don't mind and don't plan to use it by yourself :D

Kinda weird to be forced on a timer TBH, but cool for the clarification
