The Wizard

Diablo III's Wizard - 'Male Edition'

It's a waste to only have 1 representative of each Diablo III class; I mean, there are a ton of abilities to draw from. So, with that philosophy in mind, here is the first of my Diablo III 'Other Gender Edtion'(Really bad name, I know) characters.

This incarnation of the Diablo III Wizard is a Ranged Specialist who's kit revolves around the set 'Delsere's Magnum Opus', which revolves around the ability Slow Time.


Rough Level 1 Stats
Health - ~1550
Basic Attack Damage - ~65
Basic Attack Speed - ~1.1

Combat Trait

Shock Pulses; Magnum Opus
Passive
Your basic attacks are lightning pulses that arc slowly across the ground, dealing ~50% of their damage to enemies they pass under along the path to their target.

You passively do ~50% more damage to targets caught in Slow Time.

Primary Abilities

Energy Twister
Active; Targeted Moving Attack
Spawn an energy twister at target location, which will move semi-randomly around a small area, dealing ~40 damage per second to enemies it hits. Energy Twisters last for ~6 seconds. Can store 2 charges. Costs ~60 mana and has a ~8 second cooldown.

Arcane Torrent
Active; Targeted AoE
Barrage target area with ~25 small arcane bolts over ~1.5 seconds. Each bolt does ~20 damage in a small area when it hits. Costs ~65 mana and has a ~14 second cooldown.

Slow Time
Active; Targeted AoE Utility
Create a bubble at the target location. Enemies who walk through Slow Time move ~20% slower and attack ~20% slower. Enemy projectiles also move ~50% slower when caught by Slow Time. Slow Time lasts for ~10 seconds, and has a ~30 second cooldown.

Heroic Abilities

Explosive Blast
Active; AoE Blast
Activate to charge an explosive blast; After a ~1 second delay, detonate, dealing ~400 damage in a decent area around you. Costs ~80 mana and has a ~30 second cooldown.

Meteor
Active; Delayed Impact Blast
Call down a meteor to the target area; After a ~1.5 second delay, it crashes down, dealing ~600 damage in a relatively large area. Costs ~100 mana and has a ~80 second cooldown.

Talents

Level 7|Tier 3
Twisted Times - Energy Twister's damage now lowers Energy Twister's cooldown by ~1 second. Can occur up to ~3 times per damage tick.
Ranslor's Folly - Energy Twisters now pull in all non-heroic enemies nearby when cast and after ~3 seconds.

Level 10|Tier 4(Heroics)
See Heroic Abilities above

Level 13|Tier 5
Twisted Blade - Energy Twisters now deal ~20% additional damage per Energy Twister that's out, stacking up to ~5 times.

Level 16|Tier 6
Mastery - Allies passively deal ~25% more damage to enemies in Slow Time.
Raging Storm - Energy Twisters now merge when they collide, refreshing their duration. This twister does ~250% of the damage a normal Twister would do, and counts as two Twisters for talent purposes.

Level 20|Tier 7(Storm Talents)
Chain Reaction - Explosive Blast now detonates two additional times; once ~.5 seconds after the first and once ~1 second after the first. These do ~75% of the original blast's damage.
The Smoldering Core - The Meteor's impact area is ~40% larger, and enemies are slowly drawn towards the center of it from a small distance around the outside of the meteor impact area.
Party Games - Energy Twister now has ~6 charges.
Full Set - Magnum Opus' bonus is now raised to ~100% more damage.

Skin Concepts

Master Skin
For his master skin, you can put him in Delsere's Magnum Opus; Unless that's the base skin, of course.
