The Ironclad Engineer

Character Summary:


Torbjörn Lindholm is one of the greatest engineers and technological minds in the Overwatch Universe. Several of the world's weapon systems (including the armory and stock of the great Overwatch) were built on his ingenuity.

Torbjörn's attitude towards technology and robotic intelligence constantly put him at odds with the scientific community. Believing that technology existed to serve humanity, he developed a deep mistrust for Omnics and advanced robot intelligent. These fears were validated during the Omnic uprising.

Now in the Nexus, he works tirelessly to correct the mistakes of the past, and fix the damage caused by the war.

Torbjörn is a defense-minded specialist. He is equipped with an arsenal granting him an umbrella of capabilities. From his rivet gun to his turret, The engineer's personal forge empowers his ability to lock-down areas while strengthening fortifications and empowering teammates. He is a defensive wall that employs ingenious technology to shut down any and all assaults on friendly territory.

Combat Trait

Turret (D)
Build a turret that deals 29 (+4% per lvl.) damage per hit. Turret is upgradable with Forge Hammer.

Cooldown: 30 seconds

Cost: 500 scrap

Level 1:
Health: 900 (+4% per lvl.)

Rate of Fire: 2 shots per second

Attack Range: 5


Level 2:
Health: 1200 (+4% per lvl.)

Rate of Fire: 4 shots per second

Pressing [Turret] while in front of a turret will make Torbjörn pick it up, allowing him to move it. Torbjörn cannot attack or use skills while holding a turret. Activate [Turret] to redeploy the turret at his feet.

Scrap
Torbjörn does not use mana.

Torbjörn naturally accrues scrap which fuels most of his abilities. Scrap regenerates at a rate of 100 scrap per second. Drinking at a healing fountain or hearthing instantly restores all scrap. Scrap is not regenerated from regeneration globes.

Can store 1000 scrap maximum.

Primary Abilities

Rivet Gun Scatter Shot (Q)
Cooldown: 1 second
Cost: 150 scrap

Torbjörn loosens the choke on the rivet gun and lets loose, firing a barrage of molten pellets in a cone-shaped spread. Deals 60 (+4% per lvl.) damage to all enemies.

Forge Hammer (W)
Cooldown: 1 second
Cost: none

A multipurpose hammer. Torbjörn can use Forge Hammer to repair turrets for 90 health per swing. He can also use Forge Hammer to repair friendly structures.

Striking a full-health turret spends 100 scrap. Turret is upgraded to level 2 after spending 500 scrap.

Forge Hammer deals 20 (+4% per lvl.) damage on striking enemies.

Armor Pack (E)
Cooldown: 12 seconds. Stores up to 4 charges.
Cost: 50 scrap

Torbjörn fortifies some metal scrapings with the good stuff. Granting 300 shields (+4% per lvl.) when picked up by a friendly hero. A hero cannot use another armor pack if at maximum armor pack shielding.

Torbjörn throws the armor pack in a straight line, becoming a pick-up item for the friendly team once it hits the ground. Armor packs can be aimed at friendly heroes.

Armor pack can be self-cast.

Heroic Abilities

Permanently unlocks Level 3 turret upgrade.

Level 3:
Health: 3000 (+4% per lvl.)

Rate of Fire: 2 shots per second plus 4 rockets per second that deal 29 (+4% per lvl.) damage.

Cooldown: 70 seconds (starts counting down once Molten Core ends)
Cost: none
Duration: 20 seconds

Torbjörn unleashes the Molten Core. Massively fortifying his health while increasing his rate of fire and scrap regeneration.

Health: 3300 (+4% per lvl.)
Mana Regen 500 scrap
Attack per second 1.75
